자동차 산업의 서비스 부문 확대에 따른 MIS 활용 사례 (Servicizing in Automobile Industry)

  • 연구에서 우리는 국내 및 국외의 자동차산업의 사례를 통해 과거의 제조중심에서 서비스 분야로 가치창출이 이루어짐을 보여준다. Servicizing이라고 불리는 이러한 새로운 전환은 새로운 IT기술에 의해 더욱 더 발전이 가속화 되고 있다. 이미, 미국, 일본, EU등에서는 산업의 경쟁력 향상을 위해 전략적으로 추진하고 있다. 단지 자동차 산업뿐만 아니라 물류, 보험 등 연관산업에까지 파급효과가 크기 때문인 것으로 풀이되고 있다. Telematics, 충돌방지 시스템, 중고자 판매, 렌탈등의 다양한 분야에 어떻게 IT기술이 응용되고 있고 부가가치가 창출되는지 다양한 사례를 본 논문에서 보이고자 한다.

  • Currently, many companies are trying to be more competitive by implementing the most appropriate software package called ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). ERP can support the company's business process. A manufacturing execution system (MES) is an industrial software system, as well as a manufacturing management function in make-to-order and make-to-stock manufacturing environments. This paper presents an architecture of MES. This study develops MES to identify the functional requirements of loading & scheduling in the automobile industry. This study shows the effectiveness of the proposed MES, how to develop MES and interface with ERP package.

  • Korean automobile industrial is in a difficult situation because of more competitive global market and lower demand. Therefore, domestic as well as global automobile manufacturers are making greater efforts in cost reduction to strengthen the competitiveness. According to statistical data, logistics cost in domestic manufacturers is higher than advanced countries. In this study, we developed program to effectively manage standard time of procurement logistics, and confirm based on A-automobile factory data. For the purpose, we develop the system which is possible to manage standard time as well as calculate man-hour. Program is not just for calculating and managing standard man-hour, scenarios analysis function will be added to calculate benefit while introduce logistics automated equipment. In this study we propose scenario using AGV instead of electric motor while move component. In the scenario analysis, job constitution is changed, and then we use system to compare the result. We can confirm standard man-hour is reduced from 22.3M/H to 14.3M/H. In future research, it is necessary scenario analysis function, and develop algorithm with realistic constraint condition.

경도 지적장애 자동차제조업 근로자의 근골격계 위험 요인 조사 -목과 허리 부위 중점으로- (Risk Factors of Musculoskeletal System in Automobile Manufacturing Workers with Mlid Intellectual Disabilities: Focus on Neck and Lower Back Regions)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate and compare the risk factors focusing on the neck and lower back between general workers (GW) and mild intellectual disability workers (MIDW) in the automobile manufacturing industry. Methods: A total of 32 participants were required for this study design to achieve 80% power, 0.9 effect size, and an alpha level of 0.05. Each group consisted of 16 subjects, including GW and MIDW. Pain levels in the neck and lower back were measured for all participants using the visual analog scale (VAS). A dual digital inclinometer was used to measure the range of motion (ROM) in the neck and lower back three times, and the average was used for analysis. The independent t-test was used to compare between the wo groups. Cohen's d effect analysis was employed to determine the effect size. The significant level was set at 0.05. Results: In the MIDW, neck pain was significantly higher, and left cervical flexion was significantly decreased compared with the GW. There was no significant difference in lower back pain between the MIDW and GW. However, both lumbar flexion and extension, as well as lateral flexion, were significantly reduced in the MIDW compared with the GW. Conclusion: This study reveals that MIDW working in the automobile manufacturing industry have a greater risk of neck pain, limitation in left cervical flexion, and overall restriction in the ROM of the lower back compared with GW.

자동차 부품 수요의 예측 모형 개발 (Development of the Forecasting Model for Parts in an Automobile)

  • This paper deals with demand forecasting of parts in an automobile model which has been extinct. It is important to estimate how much inventory of each part in the extinct model should be stocked because production lines of some parts may be replaced by new ones although there is still demands for the model. Furthermore, in some countries, there is a strong regulation that the automobile manufacturing company should provide customers with auto parts for several years whenever they are requested. The major characteristic of automobile parts demand forecasting is that there exists a close correlation between the number of running cars and the demand of each part. In this sense, the total demand of each part in a year is determined by two factors, the total number of running cars in that year and the failure rate of the part. The total number of running cars in year k can be estimated sequentially by the amount of shipped cars and proportion of discarded cars in years 1, 2,$\cdots$, i. However, it is very difficult to estimate the failure rate of each part because available inter-failure time data is not complete. The failure rate is, therefore, determined so as to minimize the mean squared error between the estimated demand and the observed demand of a part in years 1, 2,$\cdots$, i. In this paper, data obtained from a Korean automobile manufacturing company are used to illustrate our model.

기업가정신이 조직문화와 직무만족에 미치는 영향 및 조직문화의 조절효과 -자동차 제조기업을 중심으로- (The Impacts of Entrepreneurship on Organizational Culture and Job Satisfaction and Moderating Effect of Organizational Culture -Focusing on Automobile Manufacturing Enterprises-)

  • 본 연구는 기업가정신이 조직문화와 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 기업가정신과 직무만족 사이에서 조직문화가 조절역할을 하는지 검증하고자 하였다. 이와 같은 실증분석을 통해서 조직성과를 보다 높일 수 있는 전략적인 방안을 제시하는 데 기여하고자 하였다. 실증분석을 위하여 선행연구들의 이론적 배경과 연구모형을 참조하였다. 본 연구의 실증분석 결과를 요약하여 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기업가정신(혁신성, 진취성, 위험감수성)을 독립변수로 직무만족을 종속변수로 설정하여 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 기업가정신이 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 기업가정신이 조직문화에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 혁신성, 진취성, 위험감수성 모두가 조직문화에 유의적인 정(+)의 효과를 보여 주었다. 셋째, 조직문화와 직무만족 간의 관계 분석에서 개발문화와 합리문화 2개의 요인만이 직무만족에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 실증분석 결과는 남성위주의 현장 작업자들이 많은 자동차 제조기업의 경직된 조직문화와 관련이 있는 것으로 판단된다. 향후 다른 자동차 제조기업을 포함하는 추가 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

상용 CAM시스템을 활용한 금형 형상부(CORE/CAVITY)의 가공에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Machining of Die Profile Using the CAM System)

  • The purpose of the present paper is to investigate about the machining of profile (core/cavity) of mold die using the commercial CAM system. Recently the requirement of the light weight and high performance of automobiles has Increased. The weight of the automobile is very important in the viewpoint of the fuel and traveling performance. The optimal design technique, material technique, the process design for parts and specially, die machining technique need to be developed for increasing productivity and reducing production time of the automobile parts. In this study, the effect of machining condition on precision of die profile is investigated by experimental observation and analysis. The results will be reflected for development of the precision die of the automobile.

  • Inspection and analysis are essential process to determine whether a completed product is in given specification or not. Analysis of products with very complicated shape is difficult to carry out direct comparison between inspected coordinate and designed coordinates. So process called as matching or registrations is needed to solve this problem. By defining error between two coordinates and minimizing the error, registration is done. Registration consists of translation, rotation and scale transformations. Error must be defined to express feature of inspected product. In this paper, registration algorithm is developed to determine pose of sub-frame at assembly with body of automobile by defining error between two coordinates considering geometric feature of sub-frame.

  • In this paper an assessment has been proceeded about component technology that stamping car panel can be designed and manufactured efficiently. Also this study investigate standard model of CAD/CAM system in production process of automobile dies, Recently, motor companies are doing their best to increase productivity and to reduce production time. So to develop user-friendly and effective standard model of CAD/CAM system is very important. The cbtained results will lead to the reductions in lead time and man-hour required for the design and manufacture of the automobile dies.

점진적 성형 기술을 이용한 자동차 차체 모형 제품의 제작 (Application of Incremental Sheet Metal Forming for Automotive Body-In-White Manufacturing)

  • Recently incremental sheet metal forming (ISF) has used widely in making prototypes and small-volume products in automotive industry etc. We apply the ISF to make a 1/4 sized automobile body-in-white. First, ISF tests for rectangular shaped cup have been performed to clarify the formability denoting the relationship between the component wall angle and maximum cup height of safe forming. Next, a CAD model for the automobile was designed and segmented into several components in order to accommodate the working space of the CNC machine we adopted and the formability of the sheet metal. Then, a CAM software was employed to generate the tool path for manufacturing wooden dies and all the small parts. Finally, the different parts were joined into a single component by laser welding after the ISF process. By using the ISF we successfully produced the 1/4 sized automobile body-in-white.
