중국 자동차 산업의 기술혁신, 성장전략 및 산업정책의 시사점 (Implication from Technology Innovation, Growth Strategy and Industrial Policy of Chinese Automobile Industry)

  • Since 2009, China has become biggest automobile supplier and consumer all over the world. Chinese government and automobile firms have been executed strategic and aggressive industry policy and business strategy for nurturing automobile industry as a core manufacturing industry. However, can we assure that all of these policy and strategy have positive effect on Chinese automobile industry? For fulfilling this gab, our research examined the government policy and firm's strategy in different development stage of Chinese automobile industry. According to research result, at initial stage(1983-1996), Chinese automobile industry has grown by technological learning and reverse engineering from Soviet Union, Japan and Germany. In rapid growing stage(1996-2009), Chinese automobile firms have succeed to develop and produce own brand product with 100% own technology. And this kind of quantum jump in technology development was conducted by joint venture policy and M&A strategy. However, at the fourth stage(2010-), Chinese government and firms have over invested and focused on Electric Vehicle manufacturing without developing core technology or SW. Overall, the old-fashioned policy and strategy module in manufacturing industry of China could have negative effect on its industry development.

  • 자동차 산업의 발전에 따라 보다 편리한 기능의 자동차 부품 기술 개발이 꾸준히 진행되어 왔으나, 운송 수단 발명 초기에 개발되었던 수동 클러치 방식은 수많은 연구와 개발자들의 노력에도 불구하고 아직 오토미션 수준의 초기 단계에 머물러 있다고 볼 수 있다. 종래의 오토 미션은 클러치 디스크의 슬립을 기초로 한 소형차량 및 개인용 RV 차량 위주로 사용되고 있으나, 본 연구 기술은 대형 차량부터 소형 승용차 및 농기계, 선박 등 클러치를 조작하는 모든 수송 기계에 적용이 가능한 혁신적인 기술이다. 차량의 운전 조건에 따라 달라지는 엔진의 출력 값에 따라, 클러치 디스크의 접속 시점을 정확히 결정하고 수동 변속기의 경우 빈번히 나타나는 반 클러치 상태를 적용하기 위하여, 클러치 디스크의 접속 시점을 결정하는 기준이 되는 데이터로 엔진(Engine)의 회전수(rpm)를 적용한다. 상승하는 엔진 회전수에 해당하는 값 만큼만 클러치 디스크를 이동, 접속시켜 차량의 동력을 원활하게 전달할 수 있는 자동차용 전자식 클러치 모듈을 연구하였다.

자동차 서스펜션 로워암의 모델링 보조시스템 개발 (Development of Modeling Support System for Lower Arm in Automobile Suspension Module)

  • In this study, the modeling support system was developed which can make easy and fast FE-modeling and verify the results of static and durability analysis for the lower arm, one of the important parts in automobile suspension module. It took into account of the whole complicated design processes verifying the durability coefficients evaluated by fatigue analysis, which should be used to satisfy a design criteria. To guide the FE-modeling the drive page was constructed by using HTML and XML, which was based on expert's know-hows. It is able to integrate the processes to design the lower arm in practice, so that the standardization of its FE-Modeling is achieved, consequently. The 3 dimensional CAD's geometrical data were changed automatically into pre-defined shell elements under the concept of mesh-offset technique, and then welding elements were treated to connect between target and basic surfaces constructed by the shell elements. This system has also a user interface to control boundary and load ing conditions applied in performing of the static and durability analysis, in which many load cases can be applied simply with the MPCs driven by just few mouse clicks. These were implemented on the platform of MSC.Patran and utilized ANSYS, MSC.Nastran and MSC.Fatigue as the solver of the analysis performed. The developed system brings not only significant decreasing of man-hours required in FE-modeling process, but also obtaining of satisfied qualities in analyzed results. It will be integrated in a part of virtual prototyping module of the developing e-engineering framework.

  • Developed is an optical auto-inspection system to detect some microscopic defects on the Inside surface of the hydraulic automobile brakes at the production line. A small cylindrical detection module with a solid laser source at its center has two rings of optical fibers to separately collect light reflected and scattered from the defects on the surface.   • According as diesel automobile are produced, reduce noise and vibration that is occurred by characteristic of diesel engine, and need engine room layout optimization and research for light weight of parts. Balance Shaft Module is module parts for vehicles engine to improve performance and efficiency of engine and reduce noise and vibration. These days, an oil pump integrated balance shaft module and an oil sump integrated balance shaft module is on the rising for optimizing of engine room. In this study, produced prototype of oil pump integrated type balance shaft module, and achieved dynamic characteristic test about experimental modal analysis and noise/vibration of balance shaft module.

  • In the manufacture of automobile suspension modules at a company as parts supplier, the design process includes the detail design and the design modification via structural and fatigue durability analyses considering PoF(physics of failure) of their weldments that are repeated more than four times sequentially. The approval of the design and the release of final drawings follows. For the suspension modules, e.g. control arms and cross member, the man-hours per worker required in the process outlined above can reach as high as 1,414hours. Application of the developed integrated design system can reduce the man-hours of 1,004. In comparison with the conventional design process, this integrated design system reduces the required time by about 40%. If expense is taken into account, a savings of approximately $192,000 is estimated, assuming the design process accounts for 1.5% of total sales for the parts supplier

  • Internal flow characteristics for an automobile HVAC have been investigated using a high-resolution PIV technique. The PIV system consists of a 2-head Nd:YAG laser(125 mJ), a high-resolution CCD camera($2K\;{\times}\;2K$), optics and a synchronizer. An automobile HVAC module was used directly. Only the casing was remodeled transparently for capturing flow image and laser sheet beam illumination. Time-averaged velocity field were measured in three temperature control mode. 압전소자와 열전소자를 이용한 국소부 냉각성능 평가에 관한 연구 (Study on Evaluation of Local Cooling Performance using Piezoelectric and Thermoelectric Modules)

  • 본 논문에서는 소형 전자기기와 같은 발열부 온도 제어를 위해 압전 소자와 열전 소자를 이용하여 국소부 냉각 성능을 실험적으로 조사해 보았다. 실험은 열전 소자를 이용하여 실험 영역내에 냉각부를 형성하고, 압전 소자에 80Hz와 110Hz 의 인가주파수를 각각 적용하여, 압전 소자를 작동시켰을 때와 작동시키지 않았을 때 열전 소자에 의해 형성된 시험부의 냉각 영역에서 온도 분포를 측정하였다. 또한, 냉각 영역의 온도측정 결과를 토대로 압전 소자를 적용하였을 때와 적용하지 않았을 때 냉각 영역의 성능 계수를 계산하고, 가시화 장치를 구성한 후 시험부내에 냉각 영역의 열유동 현상도 확인해 보았다. 실험결과, 온도분포 측정 실험 결과와 성능 계수 계산 결과로 부터 압전 소자를 작동하지 않은 경우보다 압전 소자를 작동한 경우에서 냉각 성능이 개선되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.. 또한, 가시화 결과를 토대로 열전 소자에 의해 형성된 냉각 영역에 압전 소자를 작동시켰을 경우에 냉각 영역의 국소부에 압전 소자에 의한 상하 진동의 강제 대류 현상이 발생하면서 냉각영역 전체에 고르게 분포하는 유동을 형성하고 냉각 성능이 개선되는 원인을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 비동기식 이동통신망의 동일 주파수 대역에서 신형 원격 기지국(RRH)과 중계기간에 RF 신호가 상호 정합이 가능하도록 하는 정합 모듈 시스템 설계에 관한 것이다. 이 정합 시스템은 통신 중에 있는 모듈의 RF Gain을 제어하고 품질상태를 모니터링 한다. 또한 Network의 RF 환경변화에 따라 RF Gain을 적절히 조절하여 중계기의 수신 특성에 맞게 정합 할 수 있는 기능을 부여하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 신형 기지국과 기존 중계기간에 상호 인터페이스 품질문제를 개선하였다.

  • Most of traditional design processes of mechanical parts are regarded as sequential and discrete, since different kinds of softwas should be introduced. In this paper, we develop an integrated fram ework for virtual design and performance testing of an automobile seat. The system is composed of four modules, i.e. CAD, static analysis, dynamic analysis, and draft drawing module. In the CAD module, PRO/ENGINEER 3D seat model is created using parameters to be modified with the result of static and dynamic analysis. In the static analysis, headrest tere used in each design stage make it difficult to feedback their results to upstream process. These discrete processes may result in time loss and cost rise. In recent years, life cycle of product is reduced. To have competence with others, new concept design processt is simulated using ANSYS. In the dynamic analysis module, FMVSS201 test is simulated using DADS. Overall data flow is controlled by Motif. The advantage of the system is that even a novice can perform and review the whole design process, without a good hand at professional design/analysis S/W in each stage. The system also provides a virtual design space, where engineers in different development stage can access common data of design models. The concept could be applied to other fields and it could reduce time and money required in design process.
