  • This paper shows a whole noise quality checking system for the new developed 6th speed automatic transmission manufactured in USA. Due to demand for manufacturing of the high NVH quality transmissions in the mass product line, some special checking system called EOL is adapted. This EOL system is using vibration analysis technologies. Through adapting vibration analysis technologies and functions likewise RMS, Crest Factor, Harmonics, Peak, Band, and Order tracking, various noise problems caused by wear, nick, and deformations could be successfully detected and predicted. Therefore, automatic transmissions manufactured in the USA could get high NVH quality.

  • When a ship is course-keeping in the open seas, autopilot system is adapted. The design of autopilot system is very important for improvement of ship′s element research. Automatic steering system consists of autopilot device, power unit, steering gear, magnetic or gyro compass and ship dynamics. In order to evaluate automatic steering system of ships in open seas. we need to know the characteristics of each component of the system, and also to know the characteristics of disturbance to ship dynamics. In this paper, I provide evaluation method of autopilot navigation system of the fishing ship. Prediction method based on the principle of linear superposition is introduced for irregular disturbance. For the evaluation of automatic steering system of a ship, "performance index" is introduced from the viewpoint of energy saving and calculation method is frequency response analysis. Finally, I carried out calculation of sensitivity of control constants of autopilot with various conditions of ocean environments.

  • To achieve the safety and reliability, RAMS activity for a railway signal system of Near Surface Transit is studied. In this paper, preliminary hazard analysis in RAMS activities is studied for the railway signal system of Near Surface Transit. Preliminary hazard analysis is done through automatic train protection, automatic train operation and automatic train supervision. The hazards are defined, then causes and consequence for each hazard are defined. The total 75 preliminary hazards are classified. For high severity hazards are changed to acceptable level by upgrading of system requirement specification.

  • The objectives of this study are to develope the automatic design programs to offer the data when constructing a small scale vinyl-house by region. This program consists of four subroutines. The first is an automatic greenhouse modeling program, the second is a calculating design load program by region, the third is a structural analysis program and the last is a optimum shape design program. The structural analysis can be conducted by simple date input and considering the design load of the install regions into account. The shape of input data is very simple, and the program reflects the design load by region. The output data can be obtained from the automatical calculation processing after structural analysis. The program was verified by compared with outputs of a common use structural analysis program and the results are the same. It was concluded that the developed program could be used efficiently in optimum design of small scale vinyl house.

  • This paper is concerned on kinematic analysis and simulation of an automatic feeding mechanism subjected by the motion of a curvilinear inverse can. The curvilinear cam is rotated by positioning a translating roller and the automatic feeding mechanism is moved to the sliding position by the motion of a campin fixed on the curvilinear cam. The curvilinear cam consists of two arcs of circles and two straight lines. The modular approach is used for the kinematic analysis of the feeding mechanism. As the first part of the paper for the motion simulation of the cam-feeding system, this paper discusses the algorithm to simulate the motion of the cam-feeding mechanism.   • The control characteristics for radiant panel heating system with automatic thermostatic valves were researched by computer simulation and experiment. The unsteady energy analysis using equivalent R-C circuit method and radiation heat transfer analysis of enclosure analysis method with simple structured rooms was performed. The results of flow rate changes of the simulation study are good fit with the ones of experimental one.

  • 본 논문은 2차원 형태의 가상 라벨을 시계 평면(view plane)상에 효율적으로 배치하기 위한 방법에 대해 다룬다. 제안하는 방식은 실시간 처리에 적합한 연산량을 가지면서, 기존의 자동 라벨 배치 알고리즘들이 완전하게 해결하지 못했던 국부 최소문제를 중첩 자유 영역을 이용해 극복하였다. 또한, 시계 평면에서 혼잡이 적은 영역에 라벨을 배치함으로써 배치된 라벨의 가독력을 향상 시켰다. 라벨의 배치에 있어서 배경 성분의 고려는 필수적이다. 하지만 기존의 논문들은 이러한 문제에 큰 관심을 기울이지 않았고, 자동 라벨 배치 알고리즘과 배경 분석 알고리즘은 개별적으로 연구가 진행되어왔다 본 논문은 가독력의 향상을 위해서 배경의 컬러와 텍스처 성분을 이용한 배경 분석 방식을 제안하였으며, 컬러 영상의 배경을 분석하여 자동 라벨배치 분야에 처음으로 적용하였다. 본 논문은 자동 라벨 배치 알고리즘과 배경 분석 알고리즘이 유기적으로 결합함으로써 이전의 논문에서 볼 수 없었던 배치 성능을 보여주며, 다양한 실험을 통해 이를 검증하였다.
