Eigensystem Realization Algorithm을 이용한 유연한 빔의 운동방정식 규명 (System Identification of Flexible beam Using Eigensystem Realization Algorithm)

  • The System identification is the process of developing or improving a mathematical model of a physical system using experimental data of the input, output and noise relationship. The field of system identification has been an important discipline within the automatic control area. The reason is the requirement that mathematical models having a specified accuracy must be used to apply modem control methods. In this paper, it is confirmed that we can obtain transfer function of flexible beam that is expressed in the forms of identified state-space system matrix A, B, C, D and identified observer gain G using Eigensystem Realization Algorithm including singular value decomposition. And these matrices can be applied to the automatic control. In addition to, it is also confirmed that transfer function can express a system using identified observer gain G, in spite of a noisy data or a periodic disturbance.

GMM-Based Maghreb Dialect Identification System

  • While Modern Standard Arabic is the formal spoken and written language of the Arab world; dialects are the major communication mode for everyday life. Therefore, identifying a speaker's dialect is critical in the Arabic-speaking world for speech processing tasks, such as automatic speech recognition or identification. In this paper, we examine two approaches that reduce the Universal Background Model (UBM) in the automatic dialect identification system across the five following Arabic Maghreb dialects: Moroccan, Tunisian, and 3 dialects of the western (Oranian), central (Algiersian), and eastern (Constantinian) regions of Algeria. We applied our approaches to the Maghreb dialect detection domain that contains a collection of 10-second utterances and we compared the performance precision gained against the dialect samples from a baseline GMM-UBM system and the ones from our own improved GMM-UBM system that uses a Reduced UBM algorithm. Our experiments show that our approaches significantly improve identification performance over purely acoustic features with an identification rate of 80.49%.

RF를 이용한 전자 개체 인식 장치 개발 (Development of Electronic Identification Unit Using RF)

  • In Korea, a need of automatic dairy farm management system has been increased to lower production cost and to strengthen international competition. However, the present management system was mostly relied on foreign technologies and caused some problems in post management and after-sales services. Therefore, though there is a problem of price and quality at present, domestic technologies of the management system should be developed for the long run. This study was conducted to develop an electronic identification unit for an automatic dairy farm management system. The developed system was consisted of a tag, a reader, a switching circuit, and a personal computer. The tag attachable to each individual cow was developed to transmit individual radio frequency(RF) code into the air with modulation of ASK(amplitude shift keying). And the switching circuit was added to avoid confusion on reception and transmittance. The reader attached to a feeding device was developed to transmit activating signal periodically and to identify code of the individual tag when the tag was approached to the device. The reader was consisted of an active filter, a detecter, a comparator and a microcontroller. The test result was feasible enough to apply it for the automatic farm management system and the identified maximum distance was about 37cm.

  • 전자 어구 실명제는 '풍요로운 어장' 조성과 해양 환경 보호를 실행할 수 있는 주요 정책 중 하나이다. 또한 어구 자동식별 시스템은 LPWA 등의 통신과 멀티 센싱 기술을 활용하여 위 정책을 실현할 수 있는 해양 IoT 서비스 중 하나이다. 어구 자동식별 시스템은 해상에 부유하고 있는 전자 부이로부터 어구의 위치 및 유실 정보를 수집하고 어민이나 육상 관제국에게 제공한다. 어구 자동식별 시스템을 구성하는 전자 어구와 통신 장치들을 개발하였다. 본 논문에서는 전자 어구와 어선에 설치되는 무선 노드 사이의 통신 거리 측정과 전자 어구의 위치 정보 오차 측정 내용 및 결과에 대해 살펴본다. 측정 결과 통신 결과 목표치인 30 km의 2배인 62 km 거리에서 LOS 통신이 가능한 것을 확인하였고, 위치 오차는 목표치인 CEP 5 m 보다 적은 1 m의 결과를 얻었다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 개발된 어구 자동식별 시스템의 서비스 영역과 정확도가 더욱 신장될 것으로 기대된다.

Wavelet-based automatic identification method of axle distribution information

  • Accurately extracting the axle distribution information of a passing vehicle from bridge dynamic responses experiences a key and challenging step in non-pavement bridge weigh-in-motion (BWIM). In this article, the wavelet transformation is adopted and the wavelet coefficient curve is used as a substitute for dynamic response. The driving frequency is introduced and expanded to multi-axle vehicle, and the wavelet coefficient curve on specific scale corresponding to the driving frequency is confirmed to contain obvious axle information. On this basis, an automatic method for axle distribution information identification is proposed. The specific wavelet scale can be obtained through iterative computing, and the false peaks due to bridge vibration can be eliminated through cross-correlation analysis of the wavelet coefficients of two measure points. The integrand function that corresponds to the maximum value of the cross-correlation function is used to identify the peaks caused by axles. A numerical application of the proposed axle information identification method is carried out. Numerical results demonstrate that this method acquires precise axle information from the responses of an axle-insensitive structure (e.g., girder) and decreases the requirement of sensitivity structure of BWIM. Finally, an experimental study on a full-scale simply supported bridge is also conducted to verify the effectiveness of this method.

  • 본 연구에서는 구간의 교통상황을 보다 정확하게 관측할 수 있는 기법 중의 하나인 차량자동인식기법(AVI, Automatic Vehicle Identification)의 성능 요구사항 (performance requirements)을 분석할 수 있는 기법을 처음으로 제시하였다. 미시적 교통시뮬레이터인 Paramics를 이용하여 개별차량의 재인식(re-identification)을 통한 AVI 성능요구사항 분석을 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션을 적용하여 구현하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 기법은 목표로 설정한 통행시간의 정확도를 달성하기 위한 매칭률(matching rate)과 오매칭률(mis-matching rate)의 조합을 찾고, 나아가 이에 부합하는 AVI 기술을 선정하는데 사용될 수 있다. 본 연구에서 제안한 기법은 AVI를 통한 정확하고 신뢰성 있는 교통정보의 수집 및 가공을 위한 의사결정지원 수단으로 유용하게 사용될 것으로 기대된다.

  • This research investigates the automatic identification of typical embedded structures in the Integer Programming(IP) models and automatic transformation of the problem to an adequate Lagrangian problem which can provide tight bounds within the acceptable run time. For this purpose, the structural distinctiveness of variables, constants, blocks of terms, and constraint chunks is identified to describe the structure of the IP model. To assist the identification of the structural distinctiveness, the representation by the knowledge based IP model formulator UNIK-IP is adopted. For the reasoning for the structural identification, the bottom-up, top-down, and case-based approaches are proposed. A prototype system UNIK-RELAX is developed to implement the approaches proposed in this research.

  • Identification and analysis of the first and second heart sounds(S1, S2) is the easiest way for cardiovascular disease prevention and early diagnosis. However, accurate identification is difficult because the heart sound includes organ movement, blood vortex, user experience, and noise influenced by subjective judgment. Therefore, an algorithm to automatically identify the S1 and S2 heart sounds based on blood vessel transit time(VTT) is presented in this paper. According to the experimental results of comparing the algorithm developed for S1 and S2 heart sound analysis with the conventional Shannon energy algorithm in 10 volunteers, it has been proven that the proposed algorithm can automatically identify S1 and S2 heart sounds with higher accuracy than existing algorithms.

국내 MCS 시스템 현황 및 발전 방향 (Survey on the Korean MCS Systems and Development Issues)

  • 해양안전 제고를 위해서 국내에서 운영 중인 MCS(Monitoring, Control and Surveillance) 시스템으로는 AIS(Automatic Identification System)와 LRIT(Long-Range Identification and Tracking) 기술에 기반을 둔 VMS(Vessel Monitoring System)와 RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) 기술을 활용하고 있는 선박프리패스 시스템, 수협중앙회의 어업정보통신이 있다. 본 논문에서는 각 시스템의 기반 기술 현황을 정리하고, 각 시스템들의 역할과 기능을 비교하며, 각 시스템의 진화 방향과 이들을 유기적으로 연동하기 위해 수행되어야 하는 과제들을 정리하였다.
