한.중 자동차 부품산업의 수출경쟁력 비교 분석 - 미국 자동차 부품 수입시장을 중심으로 - (A Comparative Analysis on Export Competitiveness for Auto Parts Industry between Korea and China)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze export competitiveness of Korean auto parts and Chinese auto parts in U.S. market by using Index of Export Bias and Market Comparative Advantage Index. For attaining the purpose of study, we classified the auto parts which exported to U.S. market and the imported products by using the six units classification of the Harmonized System(HS). Analyzing period was 1998-2005. The analysis of Korean results of MCA indicated that the Korean auto parts which gained export competitiveness in the U.S. market were HS Code No. 8708.94, 8708.99, 8708.92. The products which will have export competitiveness in the U.S. market would be HS Code No. 8708.93, 8708.39, 8708.60 respectively. On the other hand, the results indicated that the Chinese auto parts which gained export competitiveness in the U.S. market were HS Code No. 8708.70, 8708.31, 8708.91, 8708.60, 8708.39. From this study, we find the following strategies for successful advancing into the U.S. and world market. i) Linking strategy through working cooperation with local auto firms, government and academic world. ii) Advance strategy of auto firm accompany by module working and system auto parts firm. iii) Retention strategy of large technical institution established by auto parts firms and taking cooperation of auto firms iv) Settlement strategy for having weaken competitive article and production field. v) Cost-cutting strategy through strengthening logistics cooperation system between auto parts firms and auto firms. vi) Active invitation strategy of foreign investment under quickly cooperating of government.

  • The environmental regulation of a product is a global trend. The environmental regulation directives such as RoHS, WEEE, ELV and REACH have impacted Korean export-oriented auto parts manufacturer and affects the export of the product to aboard. In electronics manufacture and auto parts manufacturer, there are different systems for environmental regulation compliance. Nowadays the automotive mechatronics parts in a car are increasing. The HEV and intelligent car will need more mechatronics parts. It is necessary to apply the environmental regulation system of electronics to the automotive parts. In this paper, we proposed the application of PDX standard used in electronic industry to the BOM of the auto parts manufactures and showed an example of generated BOM for selected auto part using PDX. The PDX-based BOM can be used for the recording of environmental substances of the automotive mechatronics part and help the collaboration across auto parts manufactures in accordance with environmental regulation.

국산 자동차 부품산업의 국제경쟁력 분석에 관한 연구 - 미국시장 수출 집중도 및 경쟁력을 중심으로 - (A Study on the International Competitiveness of Korean Auto Parts Industry - Focus on the Exporting Concentration and Competitiveness in U.S. Market -)

  • Korean auto mobile industry has been contributed to development on national economy for last 30 years. Especially, The fact is that latest increasement of Korean automobile selling is worthy of notice in U.S. market which is the biggest automobile market of the world. But development of automobile industry unattainable nothing of helping of auto parts industry. So, when we discuss about growth of automobile industry, we also have to consider role of auto parts industry at the same time. The purpose of this study was to analyze exporting competition of Korean auto parts in U.S. market by using Index of Export Bias and Market Comparative Advantage Index. For attaining the purpose of study, we classified the Korean auto parts which exported to U.S. market and the world by using the six units classification of the Harmonized System(HS). Also we measured Index of Export Bias and Market Comparative Advantage Index. Analyzing period was 1998-2004. The results of Index of Export Bias indicated that HS Code No. 8708.50, 8708.91 represented over 3 numerical value and 8708.92, 8708.60, 8708.39, 8708.29 represented over 2 numerical value. Additional results indicated that the Korean auto parts which gained exporting competition in the U.S. market were HS Code No. 8708.70, 8708.93, 8708.92. The products which will have exporting competition in the U.S. market would be HS Code No. 8708.99,

전북지역 자동차산업 입지와 지역산업 실태 및 발전방향 (Development Direction, Actual Condition and Location of the Auto Industry in Jeon-Buk Province)

  • 전북지역 자동차산업 입지는 1990년대 초반 양적성장단계에 접어든 완성차업체의 저렴한 생산공간 확보전략과 정부의 선도기업 입지에 의한 지역균형발전 개발정책에 의해 이루어졌다. 그 결과 부품산업의 기반 없이 완성차업체가 입지한 후 부품 및 소재업체가 입지하는 반대되는 발전 패턴을 취하고 있기 때문에 취약한 지역산업의 구조적인 문제점을 보이고 있다. 우선, 지역 부품산업의 계층적인 구조가 정립되지 않아 효율적인 분업생산체제를 갖추지 못하여 많은 부품을 외부지역에 의존하고 있다. 그리고 대부분의 부품업체는 특정 완성차업체에 전속되어 있으며, 지역 부품산업의 대부분은 단순 임가공을 필요로 하는 저부가가치 업종으로 이루어져 있다. 마지막으로, 다른 지역에 비해 상대적으로 연관산업의 집적도가 낮아 기업유치 경쟁력이 낮은 문제점 등을 가지고 있다. 자동차산업을 지역산업으로 특화시켜 지역경제발전을 도모하기 위해서는 연관산업의 공간적 집적을 이루어 생산과정의 유연화를 창출해야 할 것이다. 최근 자동차산업은 적기조달방식과 모듈생산의 진전으로 완성차업체와 부품업체간의 지리적 근접성이 중요한 입지결정 요인으로 작용하고 있으며, 모듈생산방식은 기존의 공장에서 시도되기 보다는 새롭게 개발된 공장에서 주로 시도되고 있는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 따라서 지역단체는 우호적인 기업환경의 조성과 적극적인 기업유치전략을 통해 모듈화된 부품공급이 가능하도록 집적화된 산업단지의 육성을 도모해야 할 것이다.

유통산업 집적지에서 장소기반 사회자본의 역할: 동대문구 답십리 자동차 부품상가를 사례로 (The Role of Space-based Social Capital in Retailing Industrial Cluster: The case study of Dondaemun-gu Dapsimni Auto-parts shopping area)

  • 본 연구는 국내 정비용자동차 부품산업과 유통산업 집적지의 지역특성을 기반으로 답십리 부품상가에서 발현되는 장소기반 사회자본의 역할을 고찰하는 것이다. 이를 위해 답십리 부품상가의 업체들을 대상으로 한 설문조사 및 심층인터뷰를 수행하였고, Lin(1999)의 사회자본 모델을 기반으로 유통산업 집적지의 사회자본의 형성, 접근성, 동원화 과정을 구분하여 고찰하였다. 그 결과, 답십리 부품상가의 부품업체들은 장소기반 사회자본을 통해 특정 공간에서 누릴 수 있는 이익인 부품의 거래비용, 업체 간 정보교환을 강화하였고, 새로운 부품판매시장을 창출하였다. 이는 유통산업 집적지의 역할이 점차 쇠퇴하는 과정에서도 장소기반 사회자본이 유통산업집적지의 성격을 지속시키는 주요 요인임을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 국내의 유통산업집적지를 대상으로 장소기반 사회자본이라는 미시적 연구의 필요성을 제기하였다는 점에서 그 의미가 있다.

  • In this paper, we have been concerned with development of plastic mold design system by using Auto CAD. We provides a interface and interaction for mold designer who can select optimal mold base and mold parts within Auto CAD environment. We use the paramatric design method and an essential elements group forms. This program made for using Visual Lisp, DCL and Visual Basic that could easily get a database which is built to mold base and parts within Auto CAD. We provide 6 types mold base and 35 parts database for designer. In addition, it will be lined to mold cost and not only 2-D but also 3-D models

캐드 환경에서 플라스틱 사출 금형 설계 시스템의 개발 (Development of Plastic Injection Mold Design System on the CAD Environment)

  • In this work, we have been concerned with developing an intelligent mold design system for plastic injection molding on the AutoCAD. We have concentrated on building a viable environment, including a mold parts database and a menu-driven user interface. This provides a more interactive and interface for selection of optimal mold-base and mold parts in mold design system. This work presents a method which allows the designer to select the mold parts and mold-base directly within an AutoCAD environment. It can also automatically generate detailed 3D drawings of the mold parts and mold-base. The system shows its potential capability for future enhancement. Since the system is independent of the data, it could easily be extended to other mold-bases and mold parts. In addition, it can be linked to the molding analysis system by creating subtracted 3-D models.

  • This study suggest a plan for a small and medium auto parts enterprises in Ulsan Industrial Complex to do cooperation activity for management rationalization. To derive the plan, it is considered that characteristics of auto parts industry, existing status of cooperation activity, and faced problems of the small and medium enterprises in Ulsan area. Suggested plan may be well used for basic information of auto parts company's cooperation, and may contribute to expand cooperation activity.

외자계와 내자계 자동차 부품회사의 경쟁력 비교 (Competitiveness Analysis of National and Foreign Auto-parts Makers)

  • The present study classified the auto-parts makers into four groups according to their investment ownership. Four groups consist the one fully owned by Koreans, the one fully owned by foreigners, the one owned less than 100% but more than 50% by foreigners, lastly the one owned by less than or equal to 50% by foreigners. Among these, the auto-parts makers, 100% foreign ownership, have the highest Malmquist productivity index while 100% Korean-owned part-makers has the lowest productivity. In case of the 100% foreign ownership companies, the cause of Malmquist change, however, is attributed to the technical efficiency change. In particular, the pure technical change is the main source of the Malmquist change. This may indicate that the 100% foreign-owned companies have successfully transferred their production process technologies to the Korean plants. They are enjoying so called the "imitation-effect." 100% Korean-owned companies were not able to create the "imitationeffect" and therefore failed to close the gap with the foreign-owned companies in terms of the production efficiency. 100% Korean-owned auto-parts makers, however, outperformed the foreign-owned companies in the technological change. The outstanding technological change may indicate that Korean-owned part makers were able to narrow the gap with the foreign-owned companies in the area of engineering technological capabilities. The same results were also observed for 50% foreign-owned companies. Knowing that the core competence of the auto-parts makers lies on the engineering technological capabilities, the research found that the most desirable form of the foreign investment was 50% of foreign ownership.

자동차 중고부품 회수 및 관리를 위한 물류정보시스템 구축 (Construction of Distribution Information System for Recovery and Management of used Parts of an Automobile)

  • 지금까지 재 제조에 필요한 자동차 중고부품은 주로 정비업체에서 회수하여 사용하였으나, 회수체계가 정비되어 있지 않아 자동차 중고부품 수집에 많은 시간과 경비가 소요되었으며, 폐차업체에서 생산되는 많은 자동차 중고부품은 재 제조에 활용되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 시스템은 폐차장, 정비업체 등에서 자동차 중고부품 정보를 입력하고, 재 제조업체에서는 이들 정보를 이용하여 재 제조에 필요한 자동차 중고부품을 회수할 수 있게 함으로써 자동차 중고부품 회수체계를 확립하고 자동차 중고부품의 안정적 수급 방안을 마련할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 본 시스템은 자동차 부품 재 제조에 필요한 자동차 중고부품을 수집 관리하기 위한 물류정보시스템으로 DISRMPA(Distribution Information System for Recovery and Management of used Parts of an Automobile)라고 부른다.
