유비쿼터스 헬스케어를 위한 전기화학 바이오센서 (Electrochemical Biosensors for U-Healthcare)

  • To date, many researchers have developed a variety of biosensors to detect the biomolecular interactions. Recently, electrochemical biosensors have been attracting great interest as one of key technologies in a ubiquitous healthcare (U-healthcare) system since they are highly sensitive and feasible to miniaturize. Here we overview the current electrochemical biosensors based on strip-type, nanowire/nanotube, field effect transistor (FET), and nanogap electrode.

과학계 박물관 전시공간의 흡입력과 지속력 분석(II) - 전시영역별 연출매체의 분포특성 분석을 중심으로 - (Analysis on Attraction Power and Holding Power of Exhibition Areas at Science Museum(II) - Focused on Analysis on Exhibition Method of Exhibition Spaces -)

  • This study analyzed visitors' behaviors in the viewpoint of Attraction Power and Holding Power of exhibits on the basis of exhibition layout of real science museums. Through the analysis, the study grasped efficiency of analysis index and exhibition environment elements which might have an effect on planning the exhibition space of a large-scale museum and producing detailed ranges of exhibition. The main indicators used are: 1. Attraction Power: it indicates the relative incidence of people who have stopped in front of an object/exhibit during the exhibition tour. It is calculated by dividing the number of people who stop by the total number of people who have visited the museum or gallery. 2. Holding Power: it measures the average time spent in front of an information/communication element. It is calculated by dividing the average time of stay by the time "necessary" to read an element. As a result of analyzing the exhibition areas of National Science Museum (Daejeon) and National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation(Tokyo), the Holding Power was found to be relatively lower than the Attracting Power. This means that 3.5 out of 10 visitors stop in front of the exhibit in 6 exhibition areas, and among these, only 1/10 is used when compared to the user required time of the exhibits. In other words, like the method of deriving an analysis index, the stage of viewing can be categorized as Attracting Power and Holding Power, and because the stage from Attracting Power to the stage of Holding Power are strongly linked, it shows that it is not easy to display a meaningful result. Except, the general distribution of Attracting Power was shown to be high from the entrance area of the exhibition hall based on the standard of viewing sequence. Also, the Holding Power became sequentially lower according to the sequence of exhibition viewing and displayed a meaningful interrelationship with the distribution ratio of island exhibits. In the case of island exhibition method, it is less influenced by the movement flow of visitors when compared to the wall type method of exhibition and can be understood as an exhibition method that provides spatial chances enabling stopping and viewing.

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the quality and reputation of medical services in hospitals run by Gangwon-do 1,3, and 10 dentists, to investigate the mitigation effects of trust and quality on patient satisfaction and loyalty. Methods: Of the 600 surveys collected, 578 were used. Results: Although there were differences in dental services by type of institution, fame influenced patient satisfaction in all three institutions, and patient satisfaction also affected loyalty in all three institutions. The moderating effect of trust was shown to one dentist, and physician trust was shown to have a moderating effect. Conclusions: The establishment of reputation trust and the practice of dental medical services are important for attracting patients.

A Study for the Effect of Sponsorship on Corporate Reputation

  • Sponsorship is one of the communication tools that have been used for a long time to raise corporate awareness and establish favorable customer attitude. This study tried to examine the effect of corporate sponsorship, which has recently been attracting increasing attention. We empirically examined whether sponsorship and program fit, identification with a company or brand, and corporate credibility affect the reputation of the sponsoring company. For this, We conducted a survey using a structured questionnaire for 263 college students, and the collected data were analyzed through a structural equation model along with factor analysis. As a result of the study, it was found that sponsorship and program suitability had a positive effect on corporate reputation, and brand identification and reliability also had a positive effect on corporate reputation. Based on the results of the study, it was possible to obtain the implication that it is important to increase the fit of the sponsor and sponsorship program, to improve the corporate brand identification and corporate credibility in order to increase the corporate reputation through sponsorship.

오징어 가공 부산물의 해양투기에 따르는 주변해양환경의 영향에 대한 검토 (Examination of the effect on the surrounding marine environment by disposing of a squid by-product)

  • Squid by-product like viscera has just been recognized as one of the serious pollutants on the surrounding marine environment in Ulleung island of Korea. The effect as a marine pollutant, however, has not been examined and evaluated properly. It was carried out the comprehensive examination of the marine pollution by disposing squid by-products. The sediments and water qualities were investigated in several positions, including the dumping position around Ulleung island. It is also estimated a spreading of by-product in terms of estimating the sinking speed and evaluating the attracting characteristics as a feed. As a result, There were no significant pollutions of the sediment and water quality. The spreading of by-product by the local current was 2-2.5 times of the depth, and it will become longer in spring tide. It was confirmed that the squid by-product has attracting ability for local fish by acoustical survey. Furthermore, it can be useful for the local fish species as feeds.

Iodine Doping of Pentacene and its Electrical Properties

  • Organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) have been attracting considerable attention because of their potential use in low-cost, large area, electronic devices such as flexible displays, biochemical sensors, and smart cards. In past several years, gold/pentacene has been frequently used in OTFTs because of the high mobility of pentacene and the high work function of gold. To improve the performance of the OTFTs contact area doping of pentacene with p-doping materials are well known. In this work we demonstrated selectively contact area doping of pentacene with Iodine vapor. For effective doping elevated pentacene layer under the source-drain area was deposited and exposed to Iodine vapor. We got better electrical performance for elevated pentacene structure rather than planer structure with relatively high field-effect mobility.

모바일 위젯기반 개인화 서비스의 영향 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study of Factors Affecting Mobile Widget-based Personalized Services)

  • As digital convergence and mobile services evolve, personalization becomes one of the most important factors attracting customers. Personalization means functions offering individually customized services with relevant contents using information on individual preferences. This sort of personalized services has attracted great attention of a large part of online firms. One of representative services of such personalized services is a mobile widget service. In this study, we identified seven antecedents affecting the quality of personalized mobile widget services and empirically investigated which antecedent has a significant effect of the quality of personalized mobile widget services. In addition we carried out empirical investigation into the effect of the quality of personalized mobile widget service on user satisfaction and trust. As a result of this research, we revealed that seven variables including information services affected components of personalized services, and usefulness and perceived benefit as components of personalized services affected user trust and satisfaction for personalized services.

가치 기반 수용모델에 기반한 지능형 개인비서 서비스 사용에 대한 실증 연구 (An Empirical Study on the Use of Intelligent Personal Secretary Service Based on Value-based Acceptance Model)

  • Recently, individuals are interested in a variety of products and services based on artificial intelligence. Among those products and services, an intelligent personal assistants are attracting many attention from IT companies as a next generation platform. Thus, the main purpose of this study is to investigate effects of intelligent personal assistant's benefits on user's value formation and adoption behavior based on Value-based Adoption Model. In addition, the moderating effect of personal innovativeness is examined through empirical analysis. Based on the analysis with the data from actual users, the results show that usefulness, enjoyment, technicality and cost advantage have significant influences on perceived value and correspondingly have an effect on intention to adopt. Personal innovativeness is related to the relationship between perceived value and intention to adopt. These findings may provide important insights to the relevant field regarding the use and spread of intelligent personal assistants.

Fabrication of Etched Graphene/CuO Nanowires as Field Effect Transistors

  • Field effect transistor based on semiconductor nanowires has been attracting lots of concerns and studies of scientists because of its different characteristic comparing with other morphology like thin film. Nowadays, graphene is introducing a great promise as an active layer in field effect transistor due to its unique electronic and optoelectronic properties. Thus, a mix structure between etched graphene and semiconductor nanowires is believed to expose novel electrical characteristics. In this study, CuO nanowires (20~80 nm in diameter and $1{\sim}10{\mu}m$ length) were grown during oxidizing Cu foil at $450^{\circ}C$ for 24 h. Besides, 3-layersetched graphene was deposited on Cu foil at $1,000^{\circ}C$ using a feedstock of $CH_4$/$H_2$ mixed gas in CVD system. A structure of Ni/Au electrode + CuO nanowires + etched graphene was fabricated, afterward. Finally, field effect properties of the device was revealed and compared with individual devices of just nanowires and just graphene.

지역경제 활성화를 위한 관광자원개발과 관광정책의 역할 (Tourism Resource Development for the Activation of Regional Economic and the Roll of Tourism Policy)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 관광자원의 지역경제 활성화 방안에서 관광자원, 관광정책 그리고 지역경제 활성화간의 상관관계를 분석하여 관광정책의 방향성을 제시하는데 있다. 설문조사는 2010년 7월 1일부터 30일까지 충청지역과 경상도지역의 국 공립 연구원 전문가를 대상으로 실시하여 최종 283부의 연구샘플이 수집되었고, 통계 처리는 SPSS 15.0과 AMOS 6.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 지역관광자원이 풍부할수록 지원제도와 유치전략에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었으며, 지원제도는 유치전략에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 관광정책이 지역경제 활성화에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 검증되었으며, 유치전략에 의한 효과보다 지원제도에 의한 간접적 영향이 더 큰 것으로 확인 되었다. 그러나 관광자원이 지역경제 활성화에 유의한 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설은 의외로 기각되었는바, 우수한 지역관광자원의 보유와 무관하게 관광정책이 구체적으로 시행되지 않으면 지역경제에 무익하다는 것을 입증하고 있다. 따라서 정부는 관광특구, 지역축제, 문화재의 지정 등을 통한 관광자원의 지속가능한 개발과 패키지화를 추구하되, 개발 및 선정기준의 업그레이드와 지속적인 평가관리를 통해 지자체에 의한 남발과 중복투자를 막고 관광부문의 질적 발전을 유도해야 할 것으로 보이며, 5+2광역경제권이 출범한 상황에서 관광분야의 광역연계협력사업이나 초광역적 연계협력사업을 적극적으로 시도하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 사료된다.
