Algorithm is a fundamental concept for all related research areas in computer science. Though many researches have paid attention to computer algorithm in solving applied problems, few researches have been conducted on how to effectively instruct the computer algorithm concept. This paper proposed the instructional method for the computer algorithm concept by using mathematics problems of the fourth grade, elementary school. We have applied our the instructional methodology to classroom, and empirically tested the effectiveness of our methodology. The results show that the effectiveness of instructional method, compared to the traditional instructional methodology.

As information security becomes more important as the fourth industrial revolution gradually emerges, an efficient and effective way to find vulnerabilities in information systems is becoming an essential requirement of information security. As the point of the protection of current information and the protection of the future industry, the Korean government has paid attention to the bug bounty, which has been recognized for its efficiency and effectiveness and has implemented through the Korea Internet Security Agency's S/W vulnerability bug bounty program. However, there are growing problems about the S/W vulnerability bug bounty program of the Korea Internet Security Agency, which has been operating for about 7 years. The purpose of this study is to identify the problems in Korean bug bounty policies through the characteristics of the bug bounty program, and to suggest the direction of the government's policy to activate the bug bounty like changes in the government's approach utilizing the market.

This research focuses on analyzing the problems of guideline signs, facilities and length of nature trails of Odaesan and Seoraksan national park, and aims to help the preservation of nature by increasing the efficiency of children's learning of nature by observing the usage of nature trails in the children's point of view. On-site research and questionnaire research took place in November 2008 and february 2008. Considering the contemporary problems, we have proposed the location change of guideline signs to be suitable for children and also the change of its design for children's increased attention.

Computer has been regarded as an alternative that could overcome the difficulties in the teaching and learning of mathematics. But the didactical problems of the computer-based environment for mathematics education could give us new obstacles. In this paper, first of all, we examined the application of the learning theories of mathematics to the computer environment. If the feedbacks of the computer are too immediate, students would have less opportunity to reflect on their thinking and focus their attention on the visual aspects, which leads to the simple abstraction rather than the reflective abstraction. We also examined some other Problems related to cognitive obstacle to learn the concepts of geometric figure and the geometric knowledge. Based on the analysis on the problems related to the computer-based environment of mathematics teaching and learning, we tried to find out the direction to use computer more adequately in teaching and learning geometry.

The terminology such as ecology, environment problems, ecosystems, ecofactory, and others related to environmental problems have been recently used in manufacturing systems, since the modern industries have to consider a global ecological crisis. The indifference of recent environmental problems which may be faced now has been paid attention to all engineering areas. In this paper, manufacturing functional requirements such as disassembly, disposal, disposal, or recycling are considered in the integrated product design development, which have not been considered well in the preliminary design stage. Those functions will contribute to reduce the waste and to long the product life cycle, which also satisfies the business benefits and customer requirements. The concurrent design concepts should be applied to integrate all possible factors. Therefore, few practical concurrent engineering tools are presented in here. The objective of this paper is to develop a called green manufacturing systems for integrated product design development by concurrent design concept which can give the desirable result in product design.

During the past decade, solving complex optimization problems with metaheuristic algorithms has received considerable attention among practitioners and researchers. Hence, many metaheuristic algorithms have been developed over the last years. Many of these algorithms are inspired by various phenomena of nature. In this paper, a new population based algorithm, the Lion Optimization Algorithm (LOA), is introduced. Special lifestyle of lions and their cooperation characteristics has been the basic motivation for development of this optimization algorithm. Some benchmark problems are selected from the literature, and the solution of the proposed algorithm has been compared with those of some well-known and newest meta-heuristics for these problems. The obtained results confirm the high performance of the proposed algorithm in comparison to the other algorithms used in this paper.

Several kinds of vibration problems have been frequently encountered in industrial vertical pumps in spite of their widespread use for long time. In fact, vibration problems of the vertical pumps are so complicated and difficult with compared to those of the horizontally mounted pumps that more careful attention should be taken for solving the vibration problems. This paper introduces a case study experienced from troubleshooting for excessive vibration occurred in a vertical-type condensate pump for combined cycle power plants. Subsynchronous whirl vibration was caused by the instability of the guide bearing whose lubricant is water. A newly modified guide bearing has solved the vibration problem, which should be the best countermeasure.

This study examined the relationships between children's perceptions of mother's psychological control, and children's behavior problems(depression, anxiety, withdrawal, and aggression). In order to expand the study on the relationships, special attention was given to the possible mediator effects of children's emotional autonomy on the relationships. The subjects were 293 6th graders residing in Cheonan. It was found that children's perceptions of mother's psychological control was significantly related with the level of children's depression, anxiety, withdrawal, and aggression. Children's emotional autonomy were found to be a significant mediator of the relationship between mother's psychological control and children's depression and aggression. No significant mediator effect of emotional autonomy was found in the relationship between mother's psychological control and children's withdrawal and anxiety.

The earth's environmental problems have attracted serious attention worldwide. Various kinds of environmental data, such as remote sensing data, have become available for examining. Although this data is crucial to understanding such problems, there has become an over-abundance in variety of size, format, and filetype which makes it difficult for researchers to handle. We feel that earth environmental researchers should not be burdened by such cumbersome tasks. Therefore, we are developing a digital library for earth environmental information and a VRML based data visualization system for it. Even now, content-based image retrieval systems have many problems attributed to the degree of difficulty in implementing them. Thus, we are trying to visualize this data so that researchers can utilize it more efficiently, effectively, and easily. A great advantage for VRML users is that people can see environmental data from any perspective above the earth and with any resolution easily. Also by using MPEG-movie, users can observe the changes of data drawn from time series files.

Nowadays, public domain software CALS/EC projects give their attention to the importance of test and evaluation (T＆E). This article proposed a survey on T＆E procedures of the international standards ISO 9000-3, ISO/IEC 9126 and ISO 14598, and of the U.S. Army pamphlet as well as that of MIL-STD-498. And features of testing tools such as their characteristics were reviewed for a reference in selecting appropriate one. Large-scale software projects often encounter with problems during T＆E, when they become close to the end of development cycle. The problems generally act as a bottleneck of a project, leading to slippage of the entire schedule. This article tried a close look at the problems and solution alternatives of the T＆E policy, management, and technical issues, and proposed a T＆E model to support a variety of software development environment.
