A Study on the Sensory Quality of Ssooksulgis Added With Different Ratio of Glutinous Rice and Mugworts (찹쌀 및 쑥의 첨가함량을 달리한 쑥설기의 관능적 품질)

  • This study attempted to examine the sensory quality, color and moisture content of Ssooksulgis added with mugworts. In sensory quality, Ssooksulgis made by 100% rice flour added with 20% Mugworts showed the most favorite characteristics. In view of color, texture, after swallowing and overall quality, 10% Mugworts Ssooksulgis was preferable than those of other Ssooksulgis added 25% glutinous rice flour. Moisture contents was not different another reports. l-value on the control group which was not added mugworts was high, 86.78, 84.42 respectively.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop an instrument for assessing Korean mother's child rearing attitudes. The study attempted to explore dimensionality of maternal attitudes and formulated conceptual framwork. The items of maternal behaviour scale were tested on 300 mothers of 4th∼6th grade elementary school children living in urban areas. By the method of reliability analysis and factor analysis, 43 items were finally selected for the scale. The reliability of the new scale was ranged from .57 to .80. The construct validity of the scale was supported by the results of factor analysis.

A Study on the Dietary Behavior in Middle-Aged Women (중년기 여성의 식생활 행동에 관한 조사 연구)

  • This study was attempted to investigate the relationship of the nutritional knowledge, the dietary behavior, the nutrient intake and personality. The subjects consist of 833 middle-aged women residing in 3 major cities in Korea. Results showed that the average nutritional knowledge score of the total subjects is 6. 4 when the possible maximum score is 15 and their dietary behavior has been considered to e fair. The higher nutritional knowledge score of respondents, the better their dietary and those who have good dietary behavior are the better in their nutrient intake.

  • Enzyme production of calcium stearate was attempted by lipase. Lipase having the highed hydrolyzing activity at $60^{\circ}C$, a melting point of substrate (hydrogenated beef tallow),was selected. 60% of hydrogenated beef tallow was converted into calcium stearate in 48hr. This result showed the possible replacement of conventional waste-producing process into enzymetic reaction.

  • This study was attempted to investigate the facilities and environments of kindergarten attached to colleges, and ultimately to make up the adequate environment of for children. For these purposes, investigators directly visited 6 kimdergartens attached to colleges, and actually measured the facilities and equipments of these kindergartens. Concretely, our invetigators analyzed the actual conditions of kindergarten attached to colleges contering around the lighting and illumination of classroom, corridor, hall, toile room, dining room, and furnitures, closing materials of the floor, wall, ceiling.

Discharge Characteristics of Counter Electrode Discharge Cells of PDP

  • In this study, a stripe type counter electrode discharge cell for PDP was attempted to realize high luminance efficiency and low firing voltage for fine pitch discharge cells. The cells were prepared using electroplated Cu/Ni electrodes coated with glass dielectric layer. The discharge behaviors of such cells were observed. These results indicate that the counter electrode discharge cells have different discharge behavior compared with coplanar cells, which may affect the luminance efficiency of the panel.

Formation of Barrier ribs for PDP by Water Jet Etching of Green Tape

  • In this study, water jet etching of aqueous green tape was attempted for processing barrier rib of plasma display panel. This process combines 1) chemical etching between water and aqueous based binder in the tape and 2) mechanical erosion by water jet. Effects of etching parameters such as pressure, temperature and aqueous binder content on the morphology of barrier ribs formed were investigated. The results demonstrated a possibility of processing barrier ribs by water jet etching.

  • In Sr-ferrite system, it has been attempted to inhibit the abnormal grian growth using Sr-ferrite powders synthesized by molten salt method as the matrix and the seeds, respectively. At each sintering temperature, the addition of seed more than 15% suppressed the abnormal grain growth, and the uniform microstructure resulted. Particularly, at 12$25^{\circ}C$, it was observed that the maximum number of the abnormal grain growth nuclei was achieved since the abnormal grain growth was suppressed even by the addition of 10% seed.

  • The sensitivity of the emotion evoked visually by IAPS was attempted to be defined using EEG(electroencephalogram). Twenty university students were participated in this study. Their EEG was measured and analyzed in terms of frequency range such as delta, theta, alpha and beta wave. The results showed that alpha increased, but delta and beta decreased with positive emotional progress. Inter-variation between alpha and delta in F4 and beta variation in P3 were indicative of the evaluation sensitivity of human emotion.

  • This study attempted to examine the effect on sensory characteristcs and physiochemical properties of Omija jelly in various volume of adding carrageenan. The pH of Omija extract was 3.02. The viscosity was increased and the turbidity was decreased according to the increase concentration Omija extract. the sensory evaluation of Omija jelly was the best with the ratio 0.5% carrageenan.
