The behavior of a hemisphere-cylinder flight vehicle at high angles of attack and side slip angles have been studied. $0^{\circ}{\sim}35^{\circ}$ angles of attack and $0^{\circ}{\sim}5^{\circ}$ side slip angles were selected as fright conditions at Mach No. 0.3. Flow changes from low angles of attack to high angles of attack were compared and analyzed. We changed from low to high angles of attack with small side slip angles. We compared normal, side and axial force coefficients among various test cases.

Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is widely used for protecting wireless sensor network (WSN). At the Workshop on Cryptographic Hardware and Embedded Systems (CHES) 2012, G$\acute{e}$rard et al. proposed an optimized collision attack and break a practical implementation of AES. However, the attack needs at least 256 averaged power traces and has a high computational complexity because of its byte wise operation. In this paper, we propose a novel double sieve collision attack based on bitwise collision detection, and an improved version with an error-tolerant mechanism. Practical attacks are successfully conducted on a software implementation of AES in a low-power chip which can be used in wireless sensor node. Simulation results show that our attack needs 90% less time than the work published by G$\acute{e}$rard et al. to reach a success rate of 0.9.

Traditional attack detection schemes based on packets or flows have very high computational complexity. And, network based anomaly detection schemes can reduce the complexity, but they have a limitation to figure out the pattern of the distributed global scale network attack. In this paper, we propose an efficient and fast method for detecting distributed global-scale network attack symptoms in high-speed backbone networks. The proposed method is implemented at the aggregate traffic level. So, our proposed scheme has much lower computational complexity, and is implemented in very high-speed backbone networks. In addition, the proposed method can detect attack patterns, such as attacks in which the target is a certain host or the backbone infrastructure itself, via collaboration of edge routers on the backbone network. The effectiveness of the proposed method are demonstrated via simulation.

The recent cyber attacks paralyzed several major banking services, broadcasters, and affected the services of a telecommunications provider. Media outlets classified the attack as cyber terror and named it an Advanced Persistant Threat. Although the attack significantly disrupted these services for at least one day, various components used in the attack were not new. Previous major cyber attacks towards targets in South Korea employed more advanced techniques thus causing greater damage. This paper studies the anatomy of the recent 2013.3.20 attack, studies the technical sophistication of the malware and attack vectors used compared with previous attacks.

Conditional differential attack against NFSR-based cryptosystems proposed by Knellwolf et al. in Asiacrypt 2010 has been widely used for analyzing round-reduced Grain v1. In this paper, we present improved conditional differential attacks on Grain v1 based on a factorization simplification method, which makes it possible to obtain the expressions of internal states in more rounds and analyze the expressions more precisely. Following a condition-imposing strategy that saves more IV bits, Sarkar's distinguishing attack on Grain v1 of 106 rounds is improved to a key recovery attack. Moreover, we show new distinguishing attack and key recovery attack on Grain v1 of 107 rounds with lower complexity O($2^{34}$) and appreciable theoretical success probability 93.7%. Most importantly, our attacks can practically recover key expressions with higher success probability than theoretical results.

The purpose of this paper is to propose a methodology that can estimate optimal requirement of attack helicopter Korea army will be operating in future. For estimating optimal requirement, attack helicopter's operation concept, performance, battlefield environment and enemy threat are considered. We use a wargame model, AAsim(Army Aviation simulation), as a analytic simulation model which is used to analyze DOTMLPF and operation in army aviation field. In this paper, we conduct battle experiment for anti armored corps operation which reflects attack helicopter's combat effectiveness very well. As a result of simulation, the destructive rate for enemy armored corps per each attack helicopter can be calculated. In this paper, we propose optimal requirement of attack helicopter using that destructive rate for enemy armored corps.

Ventilated cavity shapes by varying angle of attack of a circular cavitator were predicted based on Logvinovich's Independence Principle in order to verify the cavity shape prediction method. The prediction results were compared with model experiments conducted in the high-speed cavitation tunnel. In the prediction of the cavity centerline, the movement of the cavity centerline due to the effect of gravity and cavitator's angle of attack were well predicted. In the prediction of the cavity contour, it was found that the cavity edge prediction error increased as the angle of attack increased. The error of the upper cavity contour was small at the positive angle of attack, and the error of the lower cavity contour was small at the negative angle of attack.

Recently most of hacking attack are either DDos attack or worm attack. However detection algorithms against those attacks are insufficient. In this paper, we propose a method which is able to detect attack traffic very efficiently by reducing traffic overhead. In this scheme, network traffics are collected using SNMP and classified. if they are identified as normal traffic, traffic analysis delay timer is started to reduce traffic overhead.
Recently, Page and Vercauteren proposed a fault attack on pairing algorithms and two countermeasures against such an attack. The countermeasure uses either a random scalar or a random point to blind the input points. To defeat the countermeasure using a random point, we utilize the point addition formula on an elliptic curve. As a result, we successfully defeat the countermeasure using a random point.

In this paper, we consider a tow-person zero-sum game in which an attack helicopter with a missile wishes to destroy a tank. The tank has much small-caliber ammunition for protection itself from the attack helicopter. And the attack helicopter possesses a missile for attacking the tank. We develop models for the behavior of the attack helicopter, in terms of missile launch time, and of the tank, in terms of ammunition firing rate, in several situations. In particular, we examine the Weiss-Gillman model.
