  • In this paper, we implemented a serious game system for study to accompany exercising and generating to keep on computer game side effect. The implemented serious game system was divided into the game part and the athletic part. The athletic part for whole body exercising was composed of health bicycle for lower body exercise and additional apparatus for upper body exercise, that was attached to the rear side of health bicycle and several generator was attached to the power point of athletic part. The circuit board and logic program was composed to adjust the exercise strength control, to get data and to communicate with the computer. The game part was composed to promote and educational effectiveness, the whole system emphasized on amusement side while avoided violence side. We confirmed the effect of the serious game system with the fourteen fun form which Garneau insists.

  • Objective: The human body is often modelled as a spring-mass system. Lower extremity stiffness has been considered to be one of key factor in the performance enhancement of running, jumping, and hopping involved sports activities. There are several different classification of lower extremity stiffness consisting of vertical stiffness, leg stiffness, joint stiffness, as well as muscle and tendon stiffness. The primary purpose of this paper was to review the literature and describe different stiffness models and discuss applications of stiffness models while engaging in sports activities. In addition, this paper provided a current update of the lower extremity literature as it investigates the relationships between lower extremity stiffness and both functional performance and injury. Summary: Because various methods for measuring lower extremity stiffness are existing, measurements should always be accompanied by a detailed description including type of stiffness, testing method and calculation method. Moreover, investigator should be cautious when comparing lower extremity stiffness from different methods. Some evidence highlights that optimal degree of lower extremity stiffness is required for successful athletic performance. However, the actual magnitude of stiffness required to optimize performance is relatively unexplored. Direct relationship between lower extremity stiffness and lower extremity injuries has not clearly been established yet. Overall, high stiffness is potentially associate risk factors of lower extremity injuries although some of the evidence is controversial. Prospective injures studies are necessary to confirm this relationship. Moreover, further biomechanical and physiological investigation is needed to identify the optimal regulation of the lower limb stiffness behavior and its impact on athletic performance and lower limb injuries.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the phenomenon studies related to athletic continuity and school life satisfaction of the intellectually disabled students. According to the analysis, the integrated sports volleyball program has acquired athletic skills in the satisfaction of school life and maintained close friendship through cooperation. The participants of intellectually disabled students have been more flexible with the improvement of the physical education volleyball program, and they are affiliated with the school's cooperation, through a cooperative study. Therefore, through the integrated sports volleyball program, students with disabilities can overcome limitations and dissatisfaction with the athletic continuity and satisfaction of school life and achieve the integration they seek in the integrated education.

  • This study attempted to illustrate in-depth light on the process of experiencing the campus life of university life of students specialized in golf who are forming new exercise culture in a transitional state students based on the grounded approach. For this, it selected 10 athletic students as research participants majoring in golf in A University in Chungcheong-do and collected data through in-depth interviews. As for the data analysis, the coding paradigm was composed to derive concepts and clarify the relations between concepts according to the grounded theoretical analysis suggested by Strauss and Corbin (1990), and the research results are as follows: First, 117 concepts, 16 subcategories, and 10 upper categories were deducted in the open coding. Second, the causal conditions were categorized into "University Life of Contactless Classes," contextual elements into "Practical Exercise," and "Participation in Classes," and the central phenomenon was regarded as the "Meaning of University Life as a University Athletic Student (golf)." As a result of reviewing the process of exercise and study at the same time, the conditions of arbitration were summarized as "Relation Formation" and "Ability Improvement," and the action/interaction strategies were categorized as "Academic Research" and "Negative Thinking," and at last, the results were composed of "Looking Back at the Past University Life," "Identity," and "Future Design." Based on these research results, the model of doing exercise and study at the same time of the university athletic students (golf) was categorized by the grounded theoretical paradigm procedure, and the university athletic students (golf) continued their university life without rest as their exercise life was influenced positively by academic life, and in addition, policy implications for enhancing the competency of student athletes who can encompass both exercise and study were presented.

  • The purpose of this review study is to examine current status of dietary supplement use to enhance athletic performance capacity in elite athletes based upon anti-doping education, sports type, athletic performance capacity, gender, and age. Several previous review studies have focused on the biochemistry characteristics and intake incidence of dietary supplements and those studies have not showed enough evidence of the reason why elite athletes usually take dietary supplements. Anti-doping education may increase the incidence of dietary supplement use in elite athletes because of increasing expertise of dietary supplements. It would be expected that increased incidence of long-term dietary supplement use may induce positive effects on the body having potential effects on athletic performance capacity, although a trace of nutrients may not directly effect on the outcome of the game. Moreover, it seems that the difference of dietary supplement use based upon gender and age may come from sports type and the difference of dietary supplement intake reason may come from health and body condition maintenance rather than athletic performance capacity when considering dietary supplement use items based upon intake reasons. Most elite athletes consume at least over 2 dietary supplement items in a long period of time rather than 1 dietary supplement item in a short period of time; however, the scientific evidence of dietary supplement use seems to be insufficient. Therefore, further experimental approach studies concerning dietary supplement effects would be needed.

  • This study attempted to investigate the effect of competitive anxiety on injury psychology according to the athletic career of tennis athletes at Chinese universities. To study the method, 208 athletes enrolled in a four-year university (0 university, 0 university) located in A City, Hanam Province, were surveyed for a total of three weeks from the end of January to the beginning of February 2023. To verify the research model, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis were conducted using SPSS Statistics 25. And independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA were conducted to find out the differences in variables according to general characteristics, and multiple regression analysis was conducted to verify hypotheses through the concept of measurement. As a result of the study, first, it was found that there was a significant difference in the athletic career of tennis athletes at West China University. Second, the non-standardized coefficient of competition anxiety was found to have a positive (+) effect on exercise weaponry. Third, the non-standardized coefficient of competition anxiety was found to have a positive (+) effect on anxiety and anxiety. Therefore, it was found that other competitive anxiety in the exercise career had an effect on injury psychology. Since competition anxiety according to the athletic career of tennis athletes at Chinese universities affects injury psychology, it suggests that a psychological program that can control competition anxiety and injury psychology of athletes should be developed and introduced to athletes.
