한국적 이미지의 경기용 수영복 디자인 개발에 관한 연구 (II) - 오방색과 태극문을 중심으로 - (A Study for Developing the Competitive Swimming Suit Design with Korean Traditional Image (II) - focused on the 5 traditional colors and Taeguk motive -)

  • The purpose of the study is to develop the competitive swimming suit design with Korean traditional images. which excels in dimension of functionality, aesthetics, and symbolism. To accomplish this study, first. a theoretical examination about Korean image was added, on the basis of the practical research about professional swimmers' preferences as well as the theoretical research about the history of swimming suits and the qualifications of competitive swimming suits in the prior study. Next, practical designing was performed to achieve the creative designs according to Lamb & Kallal's design process. and the superiority of the newly designed swimming suits was evaluated by using Grant's alpha-beta model. The results of this study can be summarized as follows : First. in the problem apprehension stage. the need for swimming suit designs with Korean traditional images for professional swimmers was acknowledged, and three major criteria. which are functionality, aesthetics. and symbolism has been verified. Second. in the preliminary brainstorming stage, considerable amounts of data for the design concept considering the criteria above have been gathered. The athletic one-piece for women and the brief for men in style and nylon/lycra in fabric were used in the aspect of functionality. And the S Korean traditional colors in color and Tae-guk motive and others in pattern were selected to apply Korean traditional images in the aspects of aesthetics and symbolism. Finally, the 13 series of creative designs with 4 themes( l17pieces in total) have been suggested. Third, in the design improvement stage. after the preference to each design was surveyed, reformation of the designs was arranged on the basis of the results. Fourth, in the prototyping stage. the 17 actual prototypes, including 13 pieces for women and 4 pieces for men were produced. Fifth. in the evaluation stage. the evaluation procedure using Grant's alpha-beta model was performed. As a result, the newly designed swimming suits were rated above other existing ones in all three aspects of functionality, aesthetics, and symbolism.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the change and characteristics of 20th men's fashion. The result of the Study as follows; 1 In the period 1890's-World War I there was a display of opulence and extravagance Therefore men's fashion pursued with elegance and grace. The rise of sports and an erosion of rules of Victorian society were evident influences before 1914. So men's silhouette resembled athletic appearance and less formality was shown in masculine attire. 2. During the period World War I-1920's the new equality of social relations between the sexes had an influence in fashion. Unisex look evolved so boyish shaped became the feminine ideal, men wanted to boyish fitted leaner stylings and natural shoulder suits. In the twenties youth, who seemed to have a social dominance, asserted their own testes in fashion. New style of men's fashion such as oxford bags and Ivy League Look appeared. After World War I "comfort" is the aim of fashion so casualness was reflected in fashion: vests often were discarded and man wore a soft, detachable collars. 3. In the thirties depression marked a shift in mood from gaiety and progressivism of the twenties to the conservative, even reactionary values. The role of men and women returned to more traditional attitudes, Every men's general appearance was bold and manly: his chest was broad and well-built, his shoulders square and muscular. The effects of World War ll were not on style but on textiles and clothing construction: lighter weight fabrics appeared and construction was simplified 4. Men's dress changed only in detail and not in essence. But there was a continued increase in the variety of clothes and color in men's fashion.

  • The purpose of this study was to find the biomechanical research project result carried out at 2011 IAAF World championship in Daegu. This project was approved by the International Amateur Athletic Federation(IAAF) and financially supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism(MCST) and, Korea Association of Athletics Federations(KAAF). The total number of the project members was 20, including the members of the Scientific Committee, the Korean Society of Sport Biomechanics(KSSB) and graduate students as assistants. The objective of this project has been to analyze the performance in the track events(100 m, 110 mH) and field events(Long Jump, High Jump, Triple Jump, Pole Vault, Javelin Throw and Shot Put). This project was focused on the biomechanical research only. This kind of analysis has been carried out at major competitions for more than a decade, as it provides coaches and athletes with very useful information as an aid to training programmes and competition preparation. The biomechanical analysis of the top athletes in the world in each specialty serves as a reference for assessing technique and rationalizing the results achieved. The results will be disseminated world-wide and coaches will be in a better position to design training strategies in line with current world trends.

Results of the SMART Injury Surveillance Registry for High School Athletes in West-central Florida, USA : A Pilot Study

  • 연구목적: 본 연구는 고교운동선수들의 스포츠상해(부상)현황 파악을 통한 사고 및 손상예방을 목적으로 개발된 손상감시프로그램을 설명하고, 1년간 수집된 자료를 보고하기 위하여 수행되었다. 연구방법: 본 연구는 미국 플로리다주 내의 10개 고등학교에 재학 중인 학생 운동선수들의 스포츠상해(부상)에 대한 세부내용(사고경위, 상해부위, 사고 당시 환경적 요소 등)을 수집하여 이루어졌다. 학생 운동선수들에게 발생한 스포츠상해 조사 및 보고는 2007년에서 2008년에 걸친 학기동안 각 학교에 배치된 운동트레이너(Certified Athletic Trainer)에 의해 이루어졌다. 연구결과: 조사기간 동안 10개 조사대상 고등학교에서 614건의 스포츠상해가 발생하였고, 연습 중 사고노출 비율(1,000회의 연습 중 1명의 선수가 상해를 입는 경우를 기준으로 함)에 있어서는 풋볼(Football)이 2.73을 기록해 가장 높은 상해율을 보였으며 여자축구(2.03)와 남자농구(1.67)가 그 뒤를 이었다. 실전경기 중 사고노출 비율(1,000회의 실전경기당 1명의 선수가 상해를 입는 경우를 기준으로 함)의 경우, 풋볼(Football)이 14.4, 여자농구가 9.96, 레슬링이 7.1을 기록하였다. 운동상해로 인한 증상은 염좌/삠(관절손상)이 가장 많았고, 가장 많이 다치는 신체부위는 발목, 무릎, 머리인 것으로 나타났다.

Molecular Characterization and Expression Analysis of the Peroxisome Proliferator Activated Receptor Delta (PPARδ) Gene before and after Exercise in Horse

  • While athletic abilities such as speed, endurance and recovery are important in the horse, genes related to these abilities have not been extensively investigated. Here, we characterized the horse peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor delta ($PPAR{\delta}$) gene and analyzed the expression of $PPAR{\delta}$ during exercise. $PPAR{\delta}$ is a known regulator of ${\beta}$-oxidation, muscle fiber transformation, and running endurance. Through evolutionary analysis using the synonymous and non-synonymous mutation ratio, it was revealed that positive selection occurred in the horse $PPAR{\delta}$ gene. Two important domains related to nuclear hormone receptors, C4 zinc finger and ligand binding domain, were also found to be conserved well in horse $PPAR{\delta}$. Horse $PPAR{\delta}$ was expressed ubiquitously in many tissues, but the expression level was various depending on the tissues. In the skeletal muscle, $PPAR{\delta}$ increased about 2.5 folds after 30 min of exercise. Unlike in muscle, the increase of $PPAR{\delta}$ expression was observed at 60 min but not 30 min of exercise in leukocytes. This finding might be useful for testing the endurance of horse using blood samples. Conclusively, the horse $PPAR{\delta}$ gene is evolutionarily conserved well and can be used as a biomarker of endurance in horse.

  • 저자들이 전방십자인대 파열과 함께 전방 불안정성을 보인 2례를 보존적으로 치료하여 좋은 임상적 결과를 얻은 바를 고려할 때, 급성기에 전방십자인대가 파열된 경우에도 전방십자인대를 싸고 있는 활액막이 파열되어 없어지지 않고 비교적 연속성이 잘 유지된 경우에는 보존적으로 치료함으로써 좋은 결과를 기대할 수 있을 것으로 사료되며 아울러 십자인대가 손상받았을 때 스스로 복원 능력이 있는 지에 대하여 새로운 연구가 필요하리라 사료된다.

  • 이 연구는 중국인 유학생의 여가제약, 여가제약 협상 및 여가참가의 관계를 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 2010년 10월 2일대전에서 개최된 한국 중국인 유학생 체육대회에 참가한 중국인을 대상으로 유의표집법을 활용하여 총 210명의 연구대상을 표집하였고, 본 연구에서는 총 194명의 자료가 분석에 이용되었다. 수집된 문항은 SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 통해 Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ 값을 이용한 설문 문항의 신뢰도를 분석하였으며 연구과제 분석을 위해 단순 및 중다회귀분석을 실행하여 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 여가제약은 여가제약 협상에 정적인 영향을 미치고 있다. 구체적으로, 여가제약은 여가제약 협상 전략 중에서 '여가활동 동반자 탐색 노력'과 '여가활동 강도 조절 노력'에 영향을 미치고 있다. 둘째, 여가 제약은 여가 참가에 부적인 영향을 미치고 있다. 셋째, 여가제약 협상은 여가 참가에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하고 있다.

신체구성성분, 영양상태 및 월경기능이 여자체조선수의 골밀도에 미치는 영향(제2보) (The Influence of Diet, Body Fat, Menstrual Function, and Activity upon the Bone Density of Female Gymnasts)

  • This study was conducted with 20 female gymnasts and 23 age-matched controls to examine the relationship of diet, menstrual function and bone mineral density (BMD). The results obtained are summarized as follows : Energy intake of gymnasts was 968.9$\pm$421.4kcal, and energy expenditure was 2091.4$\pm$361kcal showing negative energy balance(-1,122.5$\pm$534.6kcal). The average intakes of calcium, iron, vitamin A, thiamin, riboflavin and niacin did not meet the Recommended Dietary Allowances for their age groups. Mean age at menarche in gymnasts is 15.8$\pm$1.2 years compared with 11.8$\pm$2.8 years in age-matched controls. The profile of estradiol, progesterone, and luteinizing hormone was lower than age-matched controls but not significant. Athletic amenorrheic gymnasts(n=12) have the menstrual irregularity(n=10) and amenorrhea(n=2). A number of variables as such nutritional deficiency in diet, negative energy blasnce and hypogonadotropic hormonal status were included. The bone mineral density (BMD) of female gymnasts were significantly higher than controls for the lumbar neck(p<0.001), trochanter(p<0.01), and Ward's triangle(p<0.001), but there were no significant differences for the lumbar spine and forearm. The lumbar spine BMD had a positive correlation with age and lean body weight. The femoral neck BMD was significantly associated with age, group and lean body mass. The trochanter BMD had significant relationship with group, body mass index, energy expenditure and follicular stimulating hormone. Ward's triangle BMD were related to body mass index and follicular stimulating hormone. The significant association was deterced between forearm BMD and age and lean body weight. The major finding of this investigation is that the BMD of gymnasts were higher than age-matched controls despite the fact that gymnasts as a group had inadequate dietary calcium and a higher propensity to have an interruption of their menstrual cycle. These data indicate that grymnsts involved in sports producing significant impact loading on the skeleton had greater femoral neck, trochanter and Ward's triangle bone density than age-matched controls.

융합 서비스의 진화를 위한 프로파일 기반 동적 서비스 바인딩 기술 (Profile-Based Dynamic Service Binding for Evolution of Converged Services)

  • 융합 서비스를 빠른 시간 안에 시장에 제공하기 위해서는 외부 서비스와 자신의 핵심 역량을 융합하는 능력이 필요하며, 정보시스템 아키텍처는 이러한 서비스 융합을 효과적으로 지원해야 한다. 서비스 지향 아키텍처는 이러한 서비스 융합을 성공적으로 지원할 수 있는 정보시스템 아키텍처이다. 그러나 기존의 서비스 지향 아키텍처를 이용한 융합 서비스의 구현은 개별 서비스 진화가 융합 서비스의 진화로 반영되지 않는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 서비스 지향 아키텍처의 맥락하에서 개별 서비스의 진화에 따른 융합 서비스의 자체적 진화를 지원하기 위한 프로파일 기반 동적 서비스 바인딩 기법의 도입을 제안하였다. 이를 위해 프로파일 기반 동적 서비스 바인딩 기술의 필요성을 제시하기 위해 스마트 운동 기구와 관련된 융합 서비스 시나리오를 제시하고 해당 기술이 구현해야 할 요구 사항을 도출하였다. 그리고 도출된 요구 사항을 만족시킬 수 있는 프로파일 기반 동적 서비스 바인딩 기술의 개념 및 구조를 제안하였다. 마지막으로 OSGi, Apache Camel, Apache CXF 등을 이용하여 프로파일 기반 동적 서비스 바인딩 기술의 프로토타입을 구현하여 제안된 기술에 대한 간략한 평가를 수행하였다.

벤치프레스 도중 발생한 대흉근 파열 -증례 보고- (Rupture of the Pectoralis Major Muscle During Bench-pressing -A Case Report-)

  • 대흉근 파열은 주로 활동적인 젊은 성인이나 격렬한 경기와 관련된 운동선수에게서 발생하고, 특히 웨이트 트레이닝 도중에 발생하는 경우가 많다고 알려져 있다. 흔치 않은 손상이 나 최근 스포츠 활동 인구의 증가로 대흉근 파열의 발생은 증가 추세에 있으며 이에 따라 기능적 및 미용적 회복을 위한 다양한 수술적 치료 방법이 소개되고 있다. 저자들은 벤치프레스 도중 발생하였으나 진단이 불명확하여 적절한 치료를 시행하지 못하고 수상 후 5개월 만에 진단된 대흉근 파열에 대하여 골경유 봉합 및 봉합나사를 이용한 봉합술을 시행한 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하고자 한다.
