In this paper, a user search history based potential query recommendation system is proposed to enable the user of information search system to represent one's potential desire for information in terms of query and to facilitate the desired information to be searched. The proposed system has analyzed the association with the existing users's search histories based on the users' search query, and it has extracted the users's potential desire for information. The extracted potential desire for information is represented in terms of recommended query and thereby made recommendations to users. In order to analyze the effectiveness of the system proposed in this paper, we conducted behavioral experiments by using search histories of 27656. As a result of behavioral experiments, the experiment subjects were found to show a statistically significant higher level of satisfaction when using the proposed system as compared to using general search engines.

Objective: To investigate the association of individual follicular fluid (FF) leptin and adiponectin levels with the quality of the corresponding oocyte and embryo. Methods: We prospectively enrolled 67 women who underwent controlled ovarian hyperstimulation with 89 FF samples. FF and the corresponding oocyte was obtained from a single dominant preovulatory follicle at the time of oocyte retrieval. Concentrations of leptin and adiponectin were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in an individual follicle. The oocyte quality, fertilization rate, and corresponding embryo development were assessed. Results: The FF level of leptin was significantly associated with body mass index (r=0.334, p<0.01). The FF adiponectin level was significantly higher in the normal fertilization group than the abnormal fertilization group (p=0.009) in the non-obese women. A lower FF leptin level was associated with a trend toward mature oocytes, normal fertilization, and good embryo quality, although these relationships were not statistically significant. The leptin:adiponectin ratio of FF did not differ significantly according to oocyte and embryo quality. The quality of the oocyte and embryo was not associated with the FF leptin level tertile. However, the normal fertilization rate was positively associated with FF adiponectin level tertile. There was a trend towards improved oocytes and normal fertilization rates with the lowest tertile of the FF leptin:adiponectin ratio, but this difference was not statistically significant. Conclusion: Our results suggest that a high FF adiponectin concentration could be a predictor of normal fertilization. However, the FF leptin concentration and leptin:adiponectin ratio is not significantly related to oocyte maturity and corresponding embryo development.

Allograft donations are commonly found to be contaminated. The most of tissue banks has promoted the use of ionizing radiation for the sterilization of biological tissues. The potential for transmission of human infectious diseases and contamination of microorganism has created serious concern for the continued clinical use of hard and soft-tissue allografts. Tissue banks have employed 15-25kGy for sterilization of hard and tendon allografts, which, according to the national standards, approaches the level at which the tissue quality is adversely affected for transplantation. The donations of allogeneic tissues to the Korea Tissue Bank over a 2-year period were reviewed, and the incidence and bacteriology of contamination were detailed. Clinical outcomes were determined for donors who had positive cultures at the time of retrieval and during the processing and they were compared with those of post sterilization. After exposure of the frozen block bone to 25kGy and the processed tissues to 15kGy of gamma irradiation, the authors were able to demonstrate complete inactivation of the bacteria. The aim of this study was to obtain the effects of gamma irradiation and the irradiation dose according to the type of tissue, through conventional microbiologic test without on influence of biocompatibility in allografts. The contamination rate after the final irradiation sterilization is 0% in the processed allografts. This may be due to the fact that the gamma radiation and processing steps are effective to control contamination.

Users of World Wide Web (Web) experience difficulties in the retrieval of pertinent information due to the increased information provided by Web sites and the complex structure of Web documents that are continuously created, deleted, restructured, and updated. Web providers' efforts to maintain their sites are tend to be less than that of site creation due to the expenses required for maintenance. If information of relationship among Web documents and their validity is provided to Web managers as well as Web developers, they can better serve users. In order to grasp the whole structure of a Web site and to verify the validity of hyperlinks, traversal and analysis of hyperlinks in a Web document are required to provide information for effective and efficient creation and maintenance of the Web. In this paper, we introduce a Web Editor specialized for Web maintenance. We emphasized on two aspects: first, the analysis of HTML Tags to extract hyperlink information and second, establishment of the relationship among hyperlinked documents, and verification of the validity of them.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of a Home-based cognitive occupational therapy program conducted for the dementia patients in the initial stages living in Taebaek region in Gangwon-do. Methods : This study carried out Home-based cognitive occupational therapy intervention by 30 Occupational Therapy Dept. students and volunteers targeting 30 dementia patients in the initiative stages for eight sessions, once a week. To identify the change of cognitive function of the participants before and after the program, MMSE-K was used for measuring. Results : As a result of applying Home-based cognitive occupational therapy to the dementia patients in the initial stages, overall cognitive function improvement was demonstrated. Especially, statistically significant improvement was exhibited in orientation, memory retrieval, the concentration of attention, and language ability. Conclusion : The program for cognitive function improvement is considered to be usefully applied to intervention in the dementia patients. The development of various Home-based occupational therapy intervention programs is required in order to adopt the Home-based occupational therapy service in the future.

In Jesmyn Ward's 2017 novel, Sing, Unburied, Sing, Ward places herself within the modern African American literary tradition and lays out the unending "historical traumas" of blacks and cultural haunting in her narrative. She brings to the fore the story of a young black boy and demonstrates the difficulty of living while a black man in the American rural South. Living or dead, black males remain spectral as their frustrated black bodies are endlessly rejected and disembodied. It's through Ward's close attention to the notions of black masculinity and retrieval of (black) humanity that the black South is remembered, recuperated, and historicized. Shrewdly enough, Ward expands it further into the tradition of American literature. Instead of singularizing African American identity and its historical traumas, she renders them the part of American history and universalizing the single black story as the story of the American South. Filling in the gaps that Faulkner and other white writers have left in their novels, Ward writes stories about the unspeakable, the invisible, the excluded to deconstruct white narratives and rebuild the American history; and reasserts African roots and history, spirituality, black raciality and locality within the American tradition. I examine the symbolic significance of Jojo's claim of black masculinity within the socio-political contexts of contemporary America. I also look closely at Ward's portrayal of Jojo's black family genealogy on account of its traumatic experiences of incarceration in notorious Parchman Farm. Locating Jojo as the inspiration of linking the past and the present, the unburied and the living, I contend that Ward creates "home" for blacks in an atemporal oceanic space where the past and the present are able to meet simultaneously. I argue that the oceanic space is an alternative space of affect that functions against the space of white rationality.

Objective: This study aimed to compare the mechanical and thermal properties in the anterior and posterior segments of new and retrieved specimens of a commercially available multizone superelastic nickel-titanium (NiTi) archwire. Methods: The following groups of 0.016 × 0.022-inch Bioforce NiTi archwires were compared: a) anterior and b) posterior segments of new specimens and c) anterior and d) posterior segments of retrieved specimens. Six specimens were evaluated in each group, by three-point bending and bend and free recovery tests. Bending moduli (Eb) were calculated. Furthermore, the new specimens were evaluated with scanning electron microscopy/energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometry. A multiple linear regression model with a random intercept at the wire level was applied for data analysis. Results: The forces in the posterior segments or new specimens were higher than those recorded in the anterior segments or retrieved specimens, respectively. Accordingly, Eb also varied. Higher austenite start and austenite finish (Af) temperatures were recorded in the anterior segments. No statistically significant differences were found for these temperatures between retrieved and new wires. The mean elemental composition was (weight percentage): Ni, 52.6 ± 0.5; Ti, 47.4 ± 0.5. Conclusions: The existence of multiple force zones was confirmed in new and retrieved Bioforce archwires. The retrieved archwires demonstrated lower forces during the initial stages of deactivation in three-point bending tests, compared with new specimens. The Af temperature of these archwires may lie higher than the regular intraoral temperature. Even at 2 mm deflections, the forces recorded from these archwires may lie beyond biologically safe limits.

A variety of search engines are currently in use. The search engine supports the retrieval of data required by users through three stages: crawling, index generation, and output of search results based on meta-tag information. However, a large number of documents obtained by searching for keywords are often unrelated or scarce. Because of these problems, it takes time and effort to grasp the content from the search results and classify the accuracy. The index of search engines is updated periodically, but the criteria for weighted values and update periods are different from one search engine to another. Therefore, this paper uses the LSTM model, which extracts the relationship between keywords entered by the user and documents instead of the existing search engine, and improves the relationship between keywords and documents by entering keywords that the user wants to find.

We aimed to review the current data composition of the Korean Tuberculosis and Post-Tuberculosis Cohort, which was constructed by linking the Korean Tuberculosis Surveillance System (KNTSS; established and operated by the Korean Disease Control and Prevention Agency since 2000) and the National Health Information Database (NHID; established by the National Health Insurance Service in 2012). The following data were linked: KNTSS data pertaining to patients diagnosed with tuberculosis between 2011 and 2018, NHID data of patients with a history of tuberculosis and related diseases between 2006 and 2018, and data (obtained from the Statistics Korea database) on causes of death. Data from 300 117 tuberculosis patients (177 206 men and 122 911 women) were linked. The rate of treatment success for new cases was highest in 2015 (86.7%), with a gradual decrease thereafter. The treatment success rate for previously treated cases showed an increasing trend until 2014 (79.0%) and decreased thereafter. In total, 53 906 deaths were confirmed among tuberculosis patients included in the cohort. The Korean Tuberculosis and Post-Tuberculosis Cohort can be used to analyze different measurement variables in an integrated manner depending on the data source. Therefore, these cohort data can be used in future epidemiological studies and research on policy-effect analysis, treatment outcome analysis, and health-related behaviors such as treatment discontinuation.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the negative circumstances of Korean education and to provide some suggestions in terms of cultural psychology. Researcher considered the negative situation as Han(恨) to Korean people and analyzed it with the cultural psychological theories. In Korean culture, Han(恨) could be overcome by Shinmyeong which is known as a Korean unique positive emotional experience. According to results of a recent research, Han has been thought that it was the negative feeling from loss of self-worth, and Shinmyeong might be the feeling related with retrieval of self-worth. On the base of discussion about Shinmyeong, several psychological solutions to negative circumstances of Korean education were proposed.
