셀룰라아제 처리된 데님직물의 태에 관한 연구(제4보) - 섬유의 조성에 따른 주관적인 태 평가- (The Assessment of Hand for Enzyme Hydrolyzed Denim Fabrics(Part IV) -Effect of Fiber Content -)

  • The assessment of hand of the denim fabrics finished by enzymatic hydrolysis will be discussed in this study. The subjective hand and the preference of the denim fabrics finished by enzymatic hydrolysis were evaluated using the developed scale(Part I). The factors affecting consumer's taste for denim fabrics were analyzed by statistics using SAS program. Also, the enzymatic of hydrolysis on the properties of denim fabrics were evaluated by subjective hand measurements. The results are as follows; Regarding the surface properties and the weight, Tencel was evaluated to be the finest, the smoothest, the most flexible, the warmest, the most refined, the sleekest, the flossiest, the lightest the softest, and the thinnest among the four kinds of fabrics. The other fabrics in the order of cotton/Tencel, cotton, cotton/PP were evaluated to qualify the listed touches. Tencel was evaluated to be the loosest and the weakest among the four kinds of denim. Cotton was evaluated to have the driest touch. In addition, the fabrics were evaluated to be more elastic and less wrinkly in the order of Tencel > cotton > cotton/Tencel > cotton/ PP. For the hand preference, the fabrics were ranked in the order of Tencel, cotton, cotton/Tencel, cotton/PP, where tencel is the moat preferred. Cotton/Tencel and cotton/PP showed negative values in the hand and the color preference, meaning that the evaluators disliked their touches. Hand preference of enzyme hydrolyzed cotton/Tencel and cotton/PP denims do not seem to appeal to Korean people.

영양소와 식품기호도를 고려한 식단 작성 Computer Program의 개발 (Development of Computer Program for Menu Based on Nutrients and Food Preference)

  • The present study was to formulate a computer program to provide a menu based on a food preference survey of families in urban areas. A food preference survey was conducted by individual direct interviews of infants, children and old people in this study. In case other's food preferences were available, food menus considering all age groups could be made. Database III PLUS package was utilized for this study. The dBASE was loaded with a food compostion table of 339 different food items, along with data for amino acids and fatty acids for 171 and 43 food items respectively. Food preference, unit of food, and recommended dietary allowances were also incloded. This meun program system calculates nutrients in selected foods, and menu assessment was composed of several factors inculding energy ratio of carbohydrate : protein : fat, amino acid score, limiting amino acid, polyunsaturated fatty acid/saturated fatty acid(JP/S) ratio and Ca/P ratio.

  • This study is intended to analyze the characteristics of the preference according to the locations of view points, which are the current criteria for the evaluation of the view. To this end, a total of fifty one test cases according to view point locations were sampled based on the picture data collected in previous studies, and preference assessment was conducted on these cases to identify preference characteristics, where a five-point Lickert-scale evaluation was performed for each test case, and three test cases for each type were comparatively evaluated. It is deemed that the findings from this study may be used to finally derive qualitative assesment scale for the view seen from apartment units.

혈액투석 환자 대상 영양교육과 상담이 짠맛 미각, 영양지식 및 식태도 변화에 미치는 효과 (Effectiveness of Nutrition Education and Counseling on the Salty Taste Assessment, Nutrition Knowledge and Dietary Attitude of Hemodialysis Patients)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition education and counseling on the salty taste assessment, nutrition knowledge and dietary attitude of 21 hemodialysis patients. Five times of the nutrition education and three times of nutrition counseling were performed for a period of 5 months. Biochemical analysis revealed that creatinine was significantly high (p < 0.001), blood urea nitrogen and serum albumin were significantly low (p < 0.05, p < 0.01) and Na, K, Cl, K, P and uric acid were not significantly different. The distribution rate of unsalty taste preference were significantly high and the distribution rate of salty taste preference were significantly low after nutrition education and counseling (p < 0.001). Nutrition knowledge significantly improved following 5th month of education and counseling (p < 0.01). Particularly, the scores for questions related to sodium were improved. The dietary attitude was significantly improved during the counseling period (p < 0.05). There were improvements in responses to 'use food exchange list on diet' and 'habitually add salt or soy sauce before the meal'. According to these results, salty taste assessment, nutrition knowledge and dietary attitude were significantly improved by the hemodialysis diet therapy practices of hemodialysis patients. Therefore, we conclude that there was a need for low-salt diet education and nutrition counseling to help them recognize the taste of low-salt foods and strive towards a preference for less salty tasting foods and the consumption of a low-salt diet.

대구지역 초등학생의 식습관, 단맛 미각 판정 및 당류 급원 식품 섭취 간 상관성 연구 (Association between eating habits, sweet taste assessment, and high-sugar food consumption among elementary school students in Daegu: a descriptive study)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to analyze high-sugar food consumption habits frequency among elementary school students, and their correlations with eating habits and sweet taste assessment. Methods: The participants of the study were 164 elementary school students in Daegu, in the fifth or sixth grade, along with their parents. A questionnaire investigated eating habits, high-sugar food consumption habits and frequency, and sweet taste assessment. Results: The average eating habits score for elementary school students was determined to be 71.7 out of 100. Students with higher eating habits scores had lower high-sugar food consumption habits and frequency compared to those with lower eating habits scores. Sweet taste assessment revealed that students who preferred less sweetness chose a 5% sugar concentration, those with a preference for normal sweetness chose a 10% sugar concentration, and those who preferred sweeter tastes chose a 20% sugar concentration. Sweet taste assessment showed that students who tended to prefer less sweetness had the highest eating habits scores and the lowest scores for high-sugar food consumption habits and frequency. In addition, eating habits scores were found to be negatively correlated with high-sugar food consumption habits, high-sugar food consumption frequency, and sweet taste assessment. The sweet taste assessment was positively correlated with high-sugar food consumption habits and frequency. Conclusions: Our results indicate that students with good eating habits had more desirable overall sugar intake habits, and when the preference for sweetness was high, the frequency of high-sugar food consumption was also high. Our study highlights the importance of educating elementary school students and their parents about the harmful effects of excessive sugar consumption, as well as the benefits of adopting healthy eating habits and creating supportive environments.

거주지역에 따른 유아의 기호도 조사 (Assessment of preschool children`s food preference according to the residing areas)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the preference trend of children in the child-care centers in relation to certain environmental factors such as size of the residing town. This evaluation was conducted using questionnaire survey where the mother of each child was required to complete a preference questionnaire including 83 food items. Statistical data analysis was completed using SAS package program. The results of this survey showed the followings : 1. Generally, the preference level of the children living in large cities were higher than of medium cities except in case of vegetables, while the preference level of the children living in large cities were higher than those of rural area except in case of hard-boiling(jorim) and vegetables. The subjects showed high preferences to bulgogi(4.53), pork-cutlet(4.52), fried chicken(4.51), jajangmyone(4.45), kimgui(4.43), roasted fish(4.31), roasted ham(4.13). 2. There was a tendency that a la carte, bread and noodles received higher preference scores. Items of Korean style soup attained higher preference scores than stew(ggigae). The preference scores of fired, broiled or pan-fried items(jun) were higher than those of other items such as seasoned vegetables(namool). 3. The preference scores of children (routinely or occasionally) skipping breakfast or supper were generally low. There was no significant difference according to the existence of mother's job except in case of steamed or pan-fried items, provided that the preference scores of the size of the monthly income of the household except stew, provide that the preference scores of the children whose household had lower income were slightly higher in general.

  • This paper discussed the assessment of hand of cotton fabrics by enzymatic hydrolysis. The subjective hand and preference of denim fabrics finished by enzymatic hydrolysis were evaluated using the scale developed. The factors affecting consumers taste for denim fabrics were analyzed by the statistical technique. The effects of enzymatic hydrolysis on the properties of cotton fabrics were also evaluated by subjective hand measurements. The results are as follow; As the weight loss increased, evaluators thought that fabrics become finer, smoother, softer, warmer and more refined, and the sense of durability is sleeker and weaker, and the sense of weight is more flexible, flossier, lighter, softer, thinner. They didnt catch the change of moisture related properties according to the rate of weight loss. They also thought fabrics became more elastic, and less wrinklier as the weight loss increased. As the weight loss increased, the fabric was more preferred. The limited weight loss which changes the preference from \"dislike\" to \"like\" was 12.87%. The most preferred fabric was that with 12.87% of weight loss. It is supposed that the preference of fabric was related to the terms such as \"sum-se-ha-da\"(섬세하다), \"mai-ku-rup-da\"(매끄럽다), \"yoo-yon-ha-da\"(유연하다), \"too-bak-ji-an-da\"(투박하지 않다), \"chom-chom-ha-da\"(촘촘하다), \"gil-ki-da\"(질기다), \"kun-juk-goe-ri-ji-an-da\"(끈적거리지 않다), \"ku-kim-i-ka-ji-an-nun-da\"(구김이 가지 않는다).

  • This research was to assess the high school girls' need about the computer assisted instruction(CAI) in the Home Economics Curriculum. In One-way ANOVA, the high school girls' need about the CAI differs in the educational level of the father and the mother, the preference for the Home Economics, the involvement with the Home Economics and the preference for a teaching method of Home Economics. MCA was done to assess the independent explanatory power of predictory variables. The educational level of father and mother were included separately in different model. The MCA that the educational level of father was included in, The most influential variable was the preference for the Home Economics and the involvement with Home Economics was the second. The MCA that the educational level of mother was included in, The most influential variable was the preference for the Home Economics and the educational level of mother was the second.

노인요양시설 목재가구 개발을 위한 목재 짜맞춤 기법 선호도 조사 및 내구성 분석 연구 (A Survey on the Preference of Joint Techniques of Wood and an Analysis of their Durability for the Development of Wooden Furniture in Elderly Group Homes)

  • As a detailed process for the development of new wooden furniture design that is to be used in elderly group homes, this study measured and analyzed physical and visual durability of joint techniques, one of the essential manufacturing techniques. By selecting a total of 4 joint techniques, an experiment to measure a compressive strength was conducted and targeting a group of 50 elderly people, a survey on visual durability and preference of visual aesthetics was carried on. As a result of closely analyzing the experiment of measuring compressive strength and the preference survey, 'mitre joint technique' was found to be the most suitable in manufacturing wooden furniture and through follow-up studies, the result of this study will be applied in the development of wooden furniture design for elderly group homes.

옥상 녹화지의 시각적 선호도 (Visual Preference in Green Roof Sites)

  • Roof greening in a city can contributes to not only providing network opportunities for dispersed greenspace patches but also bringing more greenspaces into a city. In addition, it can help to flooding and microclimate control in the city. Recently, a number of roof greening projects have been introduced, mainly to public buildings and schools. Roof peening need to offers both ecological functions and convenience and satisfaction for urban residents. This study aims to provide directions for improving ecological benefits and visual preference of roof greening. Twelve scene slides were adopted to measure people's visual preference. The survey results show that landscape images can be categorized into naturalness, visual diversity, uniqueness, and spatial flexibility. Physical scenes can be classified into type I mostly greened by plants, type II mixed between convenience facilities and plants, and type III constructed with pond. People show high preferences to type I and type II when visual diversity is high. The results of this study suggest to enhance the visual preference by considering visual diversity when applying the ecological design methods to improve naturalness for roof greening.
