장치로서의 (임)모빌리티와 그 재현 -『모빌리티와 푸코』를 중심으로 한 텍스트 연구 시론 ((Im)Mobility as Dispositif and its Representations - Mobility-Based Textual Research Method Centered on Mobility and Foucault)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 『모빌리티와 푸코』에서 제기하고 있는 새로운 모빌리티 연구방법을 검토하고, 이를 텍스트 분석에 적용해보는 것이다. 이 책은 푸코의 주요 개념을 모빌리티 연구에 적용한 논문 7편을 담고 있어 양쪽 연구 모두에 지적 자극을 주고 있다. 푸코는 이성/비이성, 정상/비정상을 구분하는 기술을 통해 작동한 규율 권력에 대한 탁월한 연구를 보여주었기 때문에, 그의 작업은 감옥으로 대표되는 폐쇄적 공간에 대한 연구처럼 보이기 쉽다. 하지만 『모빌리티와 푸코』의 필자들은 푸코의 작업에 이미 모빌리티에 대한 충분한 연구가 들어있었음에 주목하며 이를 모빌리티 연구에 적극적으로 접목시킨다. 푸코가 말한 통치성이자 장치로서의 모빌리티에 주목했을 때, 모빌리티와 임모빌리티 사이의 긴장감과 역동성이 강조되어 단순한 이분법을 가로지르는 모빌리티 연구의 가능성이 열린다. 본고는 이같은 연구방법을 적용해 김중혁의 소설 <1F/B1>과 김혜진의 단편소설을 분석한다. <1F/B1>은 건물 안에 흡사 갇혀있는 듯 보이는 건물관리인의 서사를 담고 있지만, 소설 속 관리인의 모빌리티는 기성의 통념을 관통하며 새로운 공간을 창출하는 데에로 나아가며, 김혜진의 단편소설 <목화맨션>, <치킨 런>, <줄넘기> 등은 움직이지 못하고 주저하는 모빌리티의 재현을 통해 주체를 구성하는 장치로서의 모비리티를 보여준다. 『모빌리티와 푸코』의 연구를 참조했을 때 우리는 텍스트 속 모빌리티와 임모빌리티의 역동성에 주목하여 서사를 재독하게 된다. 이 연구는 모빌리티 텍스트 연구를 새롭게 확장한다는 데에 의의가 있다. 그간 모빌리티 연구를 적용한 텍스트 분석은 대개 여행기나 표류기, 디아스포라 서사 등 명백하게 이동하는 서사에 집중되어 있었는데, 『모빌리티와 푸코』는 권력과 모빌리티의 관계, 모빌리티와 임모빌리티의 역동성 등에 주목하게 하여 새로운 텍스트 연구를 추동한다. 따라서 이 논문은 아무도 이동하지 않는 것처럼 보이는 서사 속 모빌리티 재현에 주목했을 때 드러나는 텍스트의 새로운 의미를 확인하고, 모빌리티 텍스트 연구 방법의 확장을 모색한다는 의의를 갖는다.

Design and Simulation of a Flow Mobility Scheme Based on Proxy Mobile IPv6

  • Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6) is a network-based mobility support protocol and it does not require Mobile Nodes (MNs) to be involved in the mobility support signaling. In the case when multiple interfaces are active in an MN simultaneously, each data flow can be dynamically allocated to and redirected between different access networks to adapt to the dynamically changing network status and to balance the workload. Such a flow redistribution control is called "flow mobility". In the existing PMIPv6-based flow mobility support, although the MN's logical interface can solve the well-known problems of flow mobility in a heterogeneous network, some missing procedures, such as an MN-derived flow handover, make PMIPv6-based flow mobility incomplete. In this paper, an enhanced flow mobility support is proposed for actualizing the flow mobility support in PMIPv6. The proposed scheme is also based on the MN's logical interface, which hides the physical interfaces from the network layer and above. As new functional modules, the flow interface manager is placed at the MN's logical interface and the flow binding manager in the Local Mobility Anchor (LMA) is paired with the MN's flow interface manager. They manage the flow bindings, and select the proper access technology to send packets. In this paper, we provide the complete flow mobility procedures which begin with the following three different triggering cases: the MN's new connection/disconnection, the LMA's decision, and the MN's request. Simulation using the ns-3 network simulator is performed to verify the proposed procedures and we show the network throughput variation caused by the network offload using the proposed procedures.

미래 모빌리티 체계 변화 예측 및 서비스 방향 연구 (A Research on Forecasting Change and Service Direction for the Future Mobility System)

  • 제조업 중심의 기존 모빌리티 시스템은 지속가능한 발전에 대한 시대적·사회적 요구에 힘입어 전기화·공유화·자율화로 대변되는 미래 모빌리티 시스템을 중심으로 재편되고 있으며, IT 기술 발전에 힘입어 교통수단 혁신의 변화는 가속화될 전망이다. 이에 본 연구는 미래 모빌리티 체계 변화에 대한 방향성을 예측하고자 미래 모빌리티 전문가들(N=23)을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사를 통해 공유모빌리티, 자율주행자동차, 전기자동차, 통합교통서비스 등 4가지 미래 모빌리티 수단 및 서비스에 대한 영향력 및 변화정도를 측정한 후 이를 IPA(Importance Performance Analysis) 분석을 통해 확인하였다. 분석결과 공유모빌리티가 미래 모빌리티 시스템의 핵심요인으로 선정되었다. 또한, 미래 모빌리티 서비스 제공 방향성 탐색을 위해 8가지 서비스 요인(안전성, 친환경성, 심미성, 편의성, 정시성, 접근성, 수요응답성, 개인이동성)에 대한 AHP(Analytic Hierarchical Process) 분석을 실시하였으며, 그 결과 '안전성' 요인이 미래 모빌리티 서비스에서 가장 중요한 요인으로 평가되었다. 본 연구의 결과가 미래 모빌리티 체계 변화에 대응하는 정책 및 서비스 방향을 설계하기 위한 기초자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.

Study on the Failure of Autonomous Mobility in World Network Cities

  • Globalized cities are currently showing changes due to autonomous driving (AD). It is also maximizing globalization connections in cities where autonomous mobility is as complex as AD. The purpose of this study is to reveal that cities that realize AD and mobility will grow into globalized cities. Several cities, including New York and Shanghai, have attempted and are in progress, but failed cities are increasing. Although the technology of AD and the trust of citizens are prioritized, the city that has built the city's infrastructure is expected to be a city that has succeeded in AD. This is because commercialized cities or AVs will become hubs for mobility globalization, excluding rapid climate change or AV companies, and empirical analysis has been conducted that if AVs fail in metropolitan New York due to urban complexity (population density), urban economy size (GRDP), patents, number of consumers, infrastructure public EV chargers, and road quality. It examines whether the realization of AD by region and country affects overall national innovation. As a result, even if AV succeeds in large cities such as New York, Seoul, which has a higher population density (complexity), has a negative meaning, and a more similar Tokyo has a positive meaning. It can be seen that regional research on AV should also be prioritized in large cities such as Shanghai. This means that in order for AV to be realized in each city, the construction of AI infrastructure data must be actively changed to establish globalization of cities for economic growth as autonomous mobility.

  • 모바일 트래픽이 급격히 증가함에 따라 모바일 기기가 끊김 없이 통신하기 위한 이동성 관리 기술로써 DMM (Distributed Mobility Management)이 제안되었다. DMM은 코어 네트워크에서 엣지 네트워크로 이동성 관리를 분산하여 낮은 지연으로 안정적인 바인딩 업데이트를 가능하게 한다. 그러나 DMM 시스템에는 여전히 네트워크상의 지연 문제와 세션에 대한 보안상의 문제가 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 기존 DMM 시스템에 존재하는 문제점을 지적하고, 이를 해결하기 위해 MN (Mobile Node)이 직접 인증에 참여하여 올바른 상호 인증이 이루어지는 새로운 프로토콜을 제안한다. 또한, 성능 분석을 통해 보안상의 향상뿐만 아니라 성능상의 향상이 존재함을 확인하였다.

Effect of Different Types of Firefighter Station Uniforms on Wearer Mobility using Range of Motion and Electromyography Evidence

  • This study analyzed and compared wearer mobility for different types of clothing that also included the potential to develop firefighter station uniforms using range of motion (ROM) and electromyography (EMG). This study focused on a comparison of wearer mobility affected by different materials and shapes of the station uniforms worn under firefighter turnout gear. Japanese standard uniform (UNI), stretch-wear (ST), and compression-wear (CP) were used as station uniforms for the experiment. This study analyzed wearer movements and quantified ROM and EMG. In addition, the subjective evaluation of wearer mobility and comfort were assessed for comparisons. Nine healthy male students participated in the experiment. Wearer mobility was analyzed using ROM and EMG data obtained by measuring five motions; in addition, subjective evaluations were also obtained. As compared with the standard station uniform, ROM increased 6.8 % and 7.2 % due to stretch-wear and compression-wear. The benefits of wearing stretch material or compression material to improve muscle performance (such as reduced percent of maximum voluntary contraction) were not proven. Differences between materials and designs influenced subjective wearer comfort. In particular, the wearing of compression materials was shown best in terms of wearer comfort that may also allow greater wearer mobility.

자연 치아와 골유착성 임플랜트의 동요도에 관한 연구 (MOBILITY OF NATURAL TEETH AND OSSEOINTEGRATED IMPLANTS)

  • It is well known that implants showing no clinical mobility are successfully osseointegrated and have good prognosis. When implants are under load, their mobility begins to increase. It is of necessity to substantiate whether excessive load is on or premature occlusal force is acting prior to desirable osseointegration. Using Periotest unit, we could measure the pattern of mobility change. Consequently, osseointegrated treatment has come to success by intercepting progressive mobility and doing perceptive treatment according to the result of Periotest Value(PTV). In this study, we took records of intangible mobility of 70 osseointegrated implants. And we also measured the mobility of periodontally sound natural teeth as a standard from 30 dental personnel. Conclusions were summarized as followings ; 1. Lower lateral incisor has the highest PTV, whereas lower canine, upper canine, lower premolars and lower 1st molar have the lowest PTV in natural dentition. 2. There are little significant statistical difference of PTV between men and women in both(natural and implant) dentition. 3. In general, lower natural teeth show lower PTV than upper counterpart. 4. Mandibular implants have lower PTV than those of maxillary implants. 5. All of the successfully osseointegrated implants have lower PTV than those of periodontally healthy teeth.

Evolutionary Model of Depression as an Adaptation for Blocked Social Mobility

  • Objectives In regard to the social competition hypothesis, depression is viewed as an involuntary defeat strategy. A previous study has demonstrated that adaptation in microenvironments can result in a wide range of behavioural patterns including defense activation disorders. Using a simulation model with evolutionary ecological agents, we explore how the fitness of various defence activation traits has changed over time in different environments with high and low social mobility. Methods The Evolutionary Ecological Model of Defence Activation Disorder, which is based on the Marginal Value Theorem, was used to examine changes in relative fitness for individuals with defensive activation disorders after adjusting for social mobility. Results Our study examined the effects of social mobility on fitness by varying the d-values, a measure of depression in the model. With a decline in social mobility, the level of fitness of individuals with high levels of defense activation decreased. We gained insight into the evolutionary influence of varying levels of social mobility on individuals' degrees of depression. In the context of a highly stratified society, the results support a mismatch hypothesis which states that high levels of defence are detrimental. Conclusions Despite the fact that niche specialization in habitats composed of multiple microenvironments can result in diverse levels of defensive activation being evolutionary strategies for stability, decreased social mobility may lead to a decrease in fitness of individuals with highly activated defence modules. There may be a reason behind the epidemic of depression in modern society.

일반인과 교통약자의 도시철도 역사의 보행시설 이용에 관한 비교분석 (Comparative Analysis of the Use of a Pedestrian Facility for Non-Mobility Handicapped and Mobility Handicapped in Urban Rail Station)

  • As our society is becoming an aging society, there is an increasing number of the elderly. Recently, mobility handicapped like the elderly and the disable take part in many social activities. It is required public transportation systems for them. Already, the traffic policy for mobility handicapped including pregnant woman and child, has been established in many cities. Particularly, the convenience of mobility for the handicapped in the urban rail stations is depend on a pedestrian facilities like escalators and elevators. The pedestrian facilities have been built in urban rail stations without rules for mobility handicapped. To make the more convenient and more safe stations, the more study about mobility handicapped and non-mobility handicapped is needed. This paper preferentially discusses the pedestrian facilities with other convenience facilities in urban rail stations. This paper explains also their preference, relative satisfaction and importance for the convenience facilities including the a pedestrian facilities in urban rail stations and makes clear the difference between both groups.
