AI (Artificial Intelligence) is being utilized in various fields and services to give convenience to human life. Unfortunately, there are many security vulnerabilities in today's ML (Machine Learning) systems, causing various privacy concerns as some AI models need individuals' private data to train them. Such concerns lead to the interest in ML systems which can preserve the privacy of individuals' data. This paper introduces the latest research on various attacks that infringe data privacy and the corresponding defense techniques.
This study was carried out to understand how the bird community would change in a stream ecosystem after implementation of close-to-nature river improvement techniques conducted on the Gwacheon, Seocho and Hakyeul reaches in the Yangiae Stream, 'Seoul. At the Gwacheon reach, the number of species and individuals tended to decline. However, at the Seocho reach, the number of species was increased while the number of individuals appeared to be not changed greatly. Especially, density of Dabbling Ducks were rapidly increased. At the Hakyeul reach was both the number of species and the number of individuals were increased. Density of Herons and Dabbling Ducks rose, while density of Wagtails was decreased suddenly. Except the Gwacheon reach, the survey areas were gradually improved in species richness and density after the construction of river improvement. We suggested that the naturally-formed meandering (channel) bar, restoration of riparian vegetation and artificial ponds were helpful for birds habitation, however bicycle path constructed in flood plain was negative.
This study was conducted to investigate the Ecobridge district which connects green corridor from Central park to Pulkoksan and to establish of ecological space through analysis of avifauna community, plant community structure. In the results of analysis of avifauna, 3 species 23 individuals(Pica pica, Parus major, [asser montanus) in Ecobridge district, 5 species 37 individuals(Peca pica, Parus major, Passer montanus, Oriolus chinensis, Hirundo rustica) in Central park forest. There were 15 species 72 individuals in Pulkoksan. The plant community structure were classified of three types. As divided types were artificial forest(Pinus rigida, P. koraiensis, etc.) natural forest(Quercus mongolica, Q. serrata, Q. acutissima, Q. spp.) and semi-natural forest, which have shown the successional trends from the artificial forest to Quercus spp. community. The Ecobridge district was used as the space for the passers-by owing to its the simple vegetation. Species diversity was appeared that there was the order of Ecobridge district$\longrightarrow$Central park forest$\longrightarrow$Pulkoksan forest. Similarity index was calculated 20~23% between Ecobridge district$\longrightarrow$Central park, Pulkoksan forest. Therefore the highest species diversity and multistratum vegetation structure of Pulkoksan were the most suitable for the establishment to ecological space in the district.
Stands profiles, yearly changes in growth of annual rings, age and diameter structure, and spatial distribution pattern of individuals in the Pinus densiflora stands around the Yeocheon industrial complex were investigated. Growth of annual ring in Pinus densiflora, which survived when vegetation of this area was damaged by air pollutants, was suppressed for about 10 years since 1974 when factories in this area began to operate, but since then such suppressed growth tended to be recovered. It was supposed that the suppresed growth was originated from air pollution and that improvement of growth since the suppressed period was due to the release from competition with them by death of neighbouring trees and the resuction of the amount of air pollutants. Physiognomy of Pinus densiflora stands showed mosaic pattern composed of different patches. Spatial distribution pattern of individuals an stand profiles were similar to those of Pinus densiflora stands regenerated after natural and artificial disturbances. In an age distribution diagram, age of Pinus densiflora population ranged from 1 to 33 years, Among these individuals were recrited corresponded to the suppresed period of growth of annual ring in Pinus densiflora survived when the vegetation was damaged by air pollution. On the other hand, from the result of analysis of frequency distribution diagram of diameter, it was postulated that even if whis Pinus densiflora community can be maintained as it is for the time being, it might be changed to Quercus community with the lapse of time. Regeneration; Pinus densiflora; Air pollution; Annual ring; Age structure; Diameter structure; Quercus spp. In these analyses, factors for individual recognition and species recognition were suggested.

The study was carried out to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of the tube agglutination test (TAT), enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and the 2-Mercaptoethanol agglutination test (2-MAT) to detect human brucellosis patients in Korea. We examined 87 serum samples of people in the rural farm areas where bovine brucellosis had been reported. People in this study were divided into seven groups- farmers and their families, veterinarians, veterinary quarantine workers, livestock health control officers, artificial inseminators, livestock traders and healthy control individuals. Among 87 people, 65 were males and 22 were females ranging in age from 13 to 72 years. Of 87 serum samples, ELISA detected 21.84%, TAT detected 11.50% and 2-MAT detected 8.05% Brucella positive sera. Brucella specific IgG ELISA antibody titer was recorder higher in the individuals between the ages of 50 and 65 years. The highest prevalence rate of brucellosis(29.4%) was recorded in the cattle farmers and their family members followed by quarantine veterinary office workers (25%) and practicing veterinarians 01.1%). The majority of the Brucella sero-positive individuals in this study had a history of direct contact with animals.
Artificial intelligence is applied not only to the daily life of individuals but also to all industries, and it is no wonder that the age of artificial intelligence has arrived. Therefore it is important to understand the factors that influence the acceptance of AI. This study analyzes whether "AI Effect" which recognizes that commercialized or familiar artificial intelligence is no longer artificial intelligence, affects the acceptance of artificial intelligence and proposes an acceptance plan based on the results. Two experiments were conducted. The first experiment was conducted on 105 adults in the result it was found that 32.4% (34 people) had AI Effect, AI Effect existed in 43.6% (24 people) of women and 20% (10 people) of men, that is, the proportion of AI Effect exsitence in women is about twice as high.and AI Effect exists when the level of AI knowledge is low. The second experiment was conducted 240 adults and 85 participants with AI Effect were selected. We found the group that recognized experience of AI accepted AI more actively. Understanding of AI Effect is expected to suggest companies' views in order to enhance AI capabilities and acceptance. In addition, future studies are expected on considering individual differences or related to acceptance attitudes.

Effect of artificial illumination on feeding by the rockfish Sebastes schlegeli receiving no synthetic feed in the cage of the Tongyong Marine Ranch was investigated by analysing the stomach contents of 20 individuals every month from October 1998 to July 1999. The fish was found to have fed on naturally available zooplanktons, i.e. Calanus sinicu, zoeae, amphipods and copepodites in October, fish larvae in November-December, nematodes in January, amphipods in February and again fish larvae from May to July. Despite increase in the weight of stomach contents from 260 mg/fish during the initial period of study to 2,173 mg/fish, as many as 70% of the fish were found to have empty stomach during March-April. Weight of stomach contents did not increase with increasing age of the fish. Occurrence frequency was 83-90% for C. sinicus during October-November and >50% for fish larvae during March-April and June-July.
A novel metaheuristic search method, namely black widow optimization (BWO) is employed to increase the accuracy of slope stability analysis. The BWO is a recently-developed optimizer that supervises the training of an artificial neural network (ANN) for predicting the factor of safety (FOS) of a single-layer cohesive soil slope. The designed slope bears a loaded foundation in different distances from the crest. A sensitivity analysis is conducted based on the number of active individuals in the BWO algorithm, and it was shown that the best performance is acquired for the population size of 40. Evaluation of the results revealed that the capability of the ANN was significantly enhanced by applying the BWO. In this sense, the learning root mean square error fell down by 23.34%. Also, the correlation between the testing data rose from 0.9573 to 0.9737. Therefore, the postposed BWO-ANN can be promisingly used for the early prediction of FOS in real-world projects.
