글로벌 끊김 없는 핸드오버를 위한 간단한 이동성 관리 프로토콜 (Simple Mobility Management Protocol for Global Seamless Handover)

  • 대부분의 이동성 관리 프로토콜 (즉, MIPv4/6, 이를 확장한 IETF 표준)은 글로벌한 끊김 없는 핸드오버를 지원하지 못한다. 기존의 이동성 관리 프로토콜은 현존하는 네트워크 인프라를 부분적으로 변경해야 하기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 이기종 망간 글로벌 끊김 없는 핸드오버 방법인 간단한 이동성 관리 프로토콜 (Simple Mobility Management Protocol: SMMP)를 제안한다. 아이디어는 SMMP는 글로벌 사용자 및 서비스 이동성을 지원하기 위해 세션 개시 프로토콜 (Session Initiation Protocol: SIP)에서 한 별도의 위치 관리 기능을 이용하고, 추가적으로 IEEE 802.21 MIH 표준을 확장함으로써 양방향 터널링을 동적으로 생성함으로써 끊김 없는 IP 이동성을 지원하는 것이다. 이에 대한 상세한 SMMP 구조 및 기능을 설계하였다. 마지막으로, 성능 평가에서 NS-2를 이용한 시뮬레이션을 수행하였고, 이동성 관리 성능 평가의 지표인 핸드오버 지연시간, 패킷 손실 및 첨두 신호대 잡음비 (Peak Signal Noise Ratio: PSNR)에서 기존의 이동성 프로토콜인 MIPv6, HMIPv6에 비해 제안된 SMMP가 성능이 우수함을 보였다.

도난방지 시스템의 전자기장이 인공심장 박동기 등의 오동작에 미치는 영향 (Effects of EAS Systems on Pacemakers and ICDs Malfunction)

  • EAS (electronic article surveillance) 시스템은 상품의 도난 방지를 위한 것으로 상품 판매 자동화 증가로 인해 사용이 급속히 늘어나고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 EAS 시스템의 전자기장 세기를 측정하였고, EAS 시스템이 pacemaker와 ICD에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보았다. 일반 성인 심장 높이인 130cm에서 6.3 kHz와 14.25 kHz EAS 시스템의 게이트 안쪽의 왼쪽, 바깥쪽의 오른쪽과 가운데 위치에서 전자기장의 세기를 측정하였고, pacemaker와 ICD의 동작 여부를 관찰하였다. 측정 결과 전자기장의 세기는 EAS 시스템에 따라 큰 차이가 났는데 14.25 kHz를 사용하는 EAS 시스템이 가장 강했다. Pacemaker는 고정시 세 위치 모두에서 파형 변화가 관찰되었고, ICD는 이동시와 고정시한 위치에서만 noise reversion, 심실세동이 관찰되었으며, 모두 전자기장 세기가 가장 센 14.25 kHz의 EAS 시스템의 전자기장에 의해 발생하였다. 이에 현재 국내에서는 시행되고 있지 않은 전자기장 방출에 대한 안내문 부착과 이식형 의료기기 시술을 받은 환자의 접근에 대한 위험성 경고문 등의 조치가 필요하다.

설계시공일괄발주(턴키) 설계에서 LCC를 활용한 경제성 분석 실태: 조경분야를 중심으로 (Status of Economics Analysis Using LCC in Turn-Key Project : Focus on Landscape Architecture)

  • 최근 5년간 시행된 턴키사업 중 공동주택단지 10개소를 선정하여 공종별 LCC 기법 적용실태를 분석하고 이 중 조경분야의 적용 및 문제점을 파악하여 개선방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구대상지 10개소의 총 LCC 분석건수는 총 151건이었고, 공종별 평균 적용비율 순위는 건축(34.4%)>전기(21.2%)>기계(18.5%)>토목(13.2%)>조경(12.6%) 등의 순으로 조경분야가 가장 낮았다. LCC 절감액 비율은 기계(32.1%)>건축(23.9%)>전기(23.4%)>토목(17.5%)>조경(3.1%)의 순이었으며 조경분야는 LCC 분석건수가 비슷한 토목분야보다 약 5~6배 정도가 낮은 절감액을 보이고 있었다. 조경분야의 LCC 분석항목은 총 19건이었으며, 이 중 포장재 15건, 건물녹화 1건, 잔디식재 1건, 식재기반 1건, 시설물 1건 등이었다. 조경분야 LCC 분석의 활성화를 추진하기 위해서는 첫째, 조경분야 공사비 비율을 고려한 분석항목의 설정, 둘째, 조경분야의 법적 규정 및 확대 적용, 셋째, 조경분야에 적합한 VE/LCC 기준 마련 등이 필요하다.

3차 혼변조 신호의 전치왜곡과 2, 3차 고조파 억제를 통한 고선형성 고출력 전력 증폭기에 관한 연구 (Very High Linearity of High Power Amplifier by Reduction of $2^{nd}$, $3^{rd}$ Harmonics and Predistortion of $3^{rd}$ IMD)

  • 본 논문에서는 고출력 증폭기의 출력 정합단에서 발생하는 2차, 3차 고조파 성분을 억제하여 단일 고출력 증폭기의 선형성을 개선시키고 $3^{rd}$ IMD의 전치 왜곡에 의한 선형성 개선 PAM (Power Amplifier Module)을 제안하였다. 고조파를 억제하기 위해 정합회로는 메타전자파 구조를 갖도록 설계되었으며 2, 3차 고조파가 각각 27 dBc 이상 억제되었다. $3^{rd}$ IMD의 전치 왜곡은 구동 증폭기에서 발생하는 $3^{rd}$ IMD의 위상을 조절하여 -30도가 되도록 하였으며 이때 고출력 증폭기에서 발생되는 $3^{rd}$ IMD와 상쇄를 일으켜 고출력 증폭기 보다 6 dBc 이상 개선된 고조파 성분을 갖도록 설계되었다. 제안된 PAM은 36.98 dBm의 출력 전력과 21.6 dB의 전력 이득, 29.4 %의 전력 효율을 얻었으며 2차 고조파가 -53 dBc로 참조 증폭기에 비해 20dBc 이상 억제되는 특성을 얻었다.

Short-term safety profile of COVID-19 vaccination in children and adolescents with underlying medical conditions: a prospective cohort study

  • Purpose: This article was to collect data on the safety of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccines in children with underlying medical conditions. Methods: We constructed a prospective cohort of children and adolescents aged 5 to 19 years who had received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Patients diagnosed with and treated for chronic kidney disease, autoimmune disease, or other chronic conditions at the Seoul National University Children's Hospital were recruited from June to December 2022. A mobile survey questionnaire was sent to their guardians. The presence of adverse events on the day (day 0), 3 weeks (day 21), and 6 months (day 180) after the 1st dose of COVID-19 vaccine was recorded by the guardians. Results: A total of 73 children participated. The median age was 14 years, and 64.4% of the patients were male. On the day of immunization, 65.8% of the patients reported at least one adverse event. Pain at the injection site, fatigue, headache, arthralgia, and myalgia were the most common symptoms. The prevalence of adverse events decreased over time (65.8% on day 0, 27.4% between days 0 and 21, and 24.6% between days 21 and 180). Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 infection after the 1st dose occurred in 17 patients (23.3%) and one of the patients (5.88%) was hospitalized due to infection. Conclusions: Adverse events after COVID-19 vaccination were generally mild in children and adolescents with underlying medical conditions. Our findings provide evidence for the safety of COVID-19 vaccination in the vulnerable pediatric population.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE - 자가 온레이 블럭골 이식 후 증대된 치조골과 임플란트의 평가 (Evaluation of augmented alveolar bone and dental implant after autogenous onlay block bone graft)

  • Introduction: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical results of vertical alveolar ridge augmentation using autogenous block bone graft, especially resorption rate, and outcomes of dental implants placed in the grafted site. Patients and Methods: Medical records and radiographs were reviewed. Twenty-seven patients who have been received the autogenous block bone graft which harvested from chin, ramus, and ilium, and the implant installation on 31 areas(22 maxillas and 9 mandibles) were included. Eight implants were installed simultaneously at the time of bone graft in 4 patients, and 65 implants were installed after 4.9 months(range 2~18 months) of autogenous block bone graft in 23 patients. The resorption amount and rate of augmented bone, and the success and survival rates implants were evaluated. Results: Mean height of the augmented block bone was $5.9{\pm}2.3mm$(range from 2.5 to 13.0 mm). Mean follow-up period after block bone graft was 30.4 months(range from 16 to 55 months). Mean resorption of the augmented block bone was $2.0{\pm}1.5mm$ (range from 0.5 to 7.24 mm). The success and survival rates of the implants were 78.1 % and 98.6%, respectively. Conclusion: This study indicates that the autogenous block bone graft is a useful and stable method for alveolar ridge augmentation for dental implant. And more augmentation is needed to compensate the resorption of the grafted bone.

대한침구학회지 논문의 통계적 오류에 관한 연구 (An Assessment of Statistical Validity of Articles Published in the Journal of Korean Acupuncture & Moxibusition Society - from 1984 to 2002 -)

  • This study was carried out to investigate statistical validity of medical articles that used various statistical techniques such as t-test, analysis of variance, correlation analysis, regression analysis and chi-square test. For study 429 original articles using those statistical methods were selected from Journal of Korean Acupuncture & Moxibusition Society published from 1984 to 2002. 429 original articles were reviewed to analyzed the statistical procedures. Results are summarized as follows : 1. In this study 93 articles(21.68%) of 429 ones didn't report statement of statistical method in detail. 2. 53 articles(12.53%) didn't report p-value in correctly, and 245 articles(57.11 %) used mean${\pm}$standard error (Mean${\pm}$SEM.) and 109 articles used mean${\pm}$standard deviation(Mean${\pm}$SD.). All of 23 articles using nonparametric statistical techniques made an error to central tendency or dispersion. 3. 175 articles(59.93%) and 14 articles(4.79%) of 292 ones made an error to description of equal variances and normal distribution. 4. 99 articles(50%) of 185 ones misused t-test and 4 articles of 5 ones misused chi-square test. 5. 28 articles(73.68%) of 38 ones using discrete variable misused parametric technique such as t-test or ANOVA. 2 articles and 1 article of 125 ones choosing paired samples misused independent t-test and Mann-Whitney U test. 6. 20 articles using analysis of variance didn't use multiple comparison.

유연성 전자소자 적용을 위한 BNO박막의 저온화학기상증착 (Low Temperature Chemical Vapor Deposition of BNO Thin Films for Flexible Electronic Device Applications)

  • In the future, electronic components will be integrated on flexible polymer substrates and then miniaturized by thin films using suitable thin film technologies. In this article, the concept of a room temperature CVD is demonstrated using $Bi_3NbO_7$ (BNO) films with a cubic fluorite structure and their structural and electrical properties were investigated in films deposited without substrate heating. Effects of substrate temperature on electrical properties of BNO films were also studied. Films deposited without substrate heating (real temperature of $50^{\circ}C$) show partially crystallized BNO single phases with grain size of approximately 6.5 nm. Their dielectric and leakage properties are comparable to those of films deposited by pulsed laser deposition at room temperature. The concept of room temperature CVD will become a new paradigm in the deposition of dielectric thin films for flexible electron device applications.

  • Body fit should be the first point considered for satisfying the functionality of clothes and thus it is the most essential condition. Based on previous research, this article studied the basic slacks pattern with a high body fit using body measurement of adolescent boys. The purpose of this study is to propose basic data for the production of slacks. Research was performed on the physical measurements of adolescent boys from 13-18 years old obtained from the '6th Korean National Physical Standard Reports' by SIZEKOREA. First, six types of experimental slacks basic patterns were produced applying the average body sizes of adolescent boys. Second, a single slacks basic pattern was selected, which received the best response based on appearance from the clothing evaluators. Then, the slacks basic pattern for adolescent boys was finalized by modifying and amending the selected pattern with two more clothing experiments. The data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, ANOVA, and t-test using the SPSS program. The results of this study have been obtained as follows. The modifications and adjustments were done based on Crotch, Thigh Circumference, waist circumference, and hip circumference.

노인전문요양시설 입소노인의 공간이용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Spatial Use Patterns of the Elderly in Skilled Nursing Facilities)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual condition of the spatial use patterns of the elderly in skilled nursing facilities. The thorough investigation and observation works were made to them from the view points of daily living behaviors and behavioral places of the recuperating elderly. This article discusses about the basic characteristics of 194 elderly and the actual condition of the daily living activities of 24 elderly in 3 skilled nursing facilities. The results of this study are summarized as follows; There is no wide difference between the skilled nursing facilities for the dementia and the skilled nursing facilities on the characteristic of living behaviors of the elderly. The usage of behavioral places in recuperating facilities are influenced by the physical environments and the basic characteristics of the elderly.
