Since the movements of a machine are driven by a certain principle, there is a fundamental principle that governs the movement of the machine, no matter how complex and diverse it may be. Autonomous movements are a way to avoid repetition, to approach more humane and more natural factors. That's all the more so when it comes to original movements, not cloning. So now, the dynamics of the machine are more multi-sensory by human participation. It is challenging the potential to be expressed and is gradually expanding its sphere of expression in the boundaries of fact and cloning. Theo Jansen's works have changed from period to period to adapt to different circumstances, indicating that his decades-long work has continued to evolve from early to present. The evolution's focus, among other things, can be seen as having the same source of circular motion and horizontal reciprocating motion, which are repeated from the principle of organic coupling between the parts that make up the object.

Supercomputers are used for many different areas including new product design of industries as well as state-of-the-art science and technology for large amount of computational needs. Tachyon is a 4th supercomputer built at KISTI that is a high-performance parallel computing system with 3,200 computing nodes and infrastructures. This system is currently about 10,000 users and over 170 organizations are used, the number of jobs they are performing work in batch type form through a scheduler. Also, this system logs lots of job scripts, execution environment, library, job status from the job submit to end. In this paper, we analyzed batch jobs information from Sun Grid Engine, that use as a scheduler in Tachyon system, and job executed information in Tachyon System. In particular, we distinguished the fail jobs from the all tasks that users perform and we analyzed the cause of failure. Among them, we can extracted some of jobs that can be regarded as normal jobs through the improvement in those works logged as all of fail jobs.

Throughout her life time, Edith Head produced cinema costumes for over one thousand movies. She was the leading cinema costume designer in Hollywood. Since the Academy Awards added the area of costume design to be recognized [during 33 years of her work(1948∼1981)], she was nominated 35 times an awarded eight times. However, there were no significant studies done on her work or accomplishments although she was acknowledged as an ingenue and creative designer who elicited artistic effects by reflect character's images through their costumes. The purpose of the study was focused on revealing Edith Head's life and work as her creations had a great impact in he field of cinema costumes. It was also to emphasize the forceful affect of cinema costumes on fashion and to disclose the powerful influence of cinema costume designers. The method of the study includes reviews of literature, movies for which she created costumes, her own possessions, and fashion magazines as well as her works that were nominated and chosen for the Academy Awards. Edith head's emphasis in costume design was based on a blend of both simplicity and sophistication avoiding excessive exaggeration and transformation in her work. Her work was also realistic and contemporary. She developed a dramatic ambience through an innovative design while preserving the actor's individual character and uniqueness. Through this accept her her work was highly renowned as an art form as it was gaining popularity. She was also a dominant figure who influenced trends in the areas of fashion magazines, uniforms, and public clothing. In the review of her cinema costumes, it was revealed that the styles of cinema costumes can be as quickly adapted by the public as movies are viewed because the cinema costumes are highly projected through a visual channel. Subsequently, a follow up study on the affect of cinema costumes on fashion would be beneficial.

Today, a variety performance premiered in Korea, works of art as an advanced production planning and production system is becoming. Accordingly, the field of stage costume also increased collaboration with foreign producers and production systems and the advancement of the stage costume are required are becoming. The opening performance of the 30th anniversary of the Seoul Theater Festival was selected as Towol Theater Theater in 2009, April 16 to 26 of Picasso's women's costume is the study of production systems. This work directing and stage design by inviting domestic producers from foreign fields, and co-authored the work in the field of stage costumes in collaboration with foreign producers that are worth study and research work. In this study, this work has a practical study of costumes throughout the production system, an advanced stage costumes to contribute to the development of the field. The research methodology book data, collected papers, Internet resources through research and theoretical studies play 'Picasso's women's stage production of the award total to an empirical study was undertaken. The results of this study are as follows. First, the costume director for making a scholarly grasp of the direction of the investigation is ongoing throughout the process of creating the costumes. Second, foreign producers and co-author of the stage when the award, if other than purely domestic producers and create costumes to build production systems. Third, foreign producers and co-costume design and costume making coherent explanation for the processing of the list(Costume Breakdown List) are developed. Fourth, the actual performance over the director's intention to visualize the presentation was good enough, and the idea of the costume crew was taken to the director's idea of directing a play that reflected the will has a big meaning.

In this paper, induction machine operation efficiency and torque is improved using Machine Learning based Gene Optimization (ML-GO) Technique is introduced. Optimized Genetic Algorithm (OGA) is used to select the optimal induction machine data. In OGA, selection, crossover and mutation process is carried out to find the optimal electrical machine data for induction machine design. Initially, many number of induction machine data are given as input for OGA. Then, fitness value is calculated for all induction machine data to find whether the criterion is satisfied or not through fitness function (i.e., objective function such as starting to full load torque ratio, rotor current, power factor and maximum flux density of stator and rotor teeth). When the criterion is not satisfied, annealed selection approach in OGA is used to move the selection criteria from exploration to exploitation to attain the optimal solution (i.e., efficient machine data). After the selection process, two point crossovers is carried out to select two crossover points within a chromosomes (i.e., design variables) and then swaps two parent's chromosomes for producing two new offspring. Finally, Adaptive Levy Mutation is used in OGA to select any value in random manner and gets mutated to obtain the optimal value. This process gets iterated till finding the optimal value for induction machine design. Experimental evaluation of ML-GO technique is carried out with performance metrics such as torque, rotor current, induction machine operation efficiency and rotor power factor compared to the state-of-the-art works.

It is not a simple topic how let the modern readers read the past literature in the these days of digital. But even though the changes of the times, we must not let 'the paper-books(the thing written with letters)' disappear because of 'the audio-visual texts(the thing made with digital media as drama-opera, animated cartoon, animated image)'. The Electronic medias should be used so as helping for us to understand contents of the paper-books. Because of them, the paper-books must not be expelled. It is no need certainly for the reading materials to be made with Paper-books. For example, the electronic-books in order to read also would not become problems. Moreover, the electronic-books to be made with various electronic media can also provide the audio-visual materials for readers well to understand contents of the books. For that reason, the electronic-books would be helped to read effectively. Besides after reading the original texts, the readers to try the 'rewriting', with using the meanings for oneself to get from the texts would be able to make a synopsis or story-telling for other art performances. These works are things positively to be stimulated, because of giving the achievement motivations to the readers. To conclude, the audio-texts reading and the visual-texts reading should be developed so that the paper-books to be revitalize. And though the modern readers dislike to read the paper-books, We should try to make the audio-visual texts base on the paper-books. Therefore the paper-books and audio-visual texts are inter-complementary relationships, not competitive relationships.

Today, art education needs education of media image production or media in the extended field. The purpose of this study is to develop the basic visual grammar and communication ability. We developed and applied the teaching plan for the interview video production as the fusion lesson. 3 classes were conducted for 30 middle school students. The results obtained through the analysis of the pre & post questions and student works are as follows. First, the students used the shot size and stable composition through the interview video production. As a result, this class was effective for the acquisition of the basic video grammar. Second, students improved their ability to ask and listen, understand and organize through interview. As a result, students were able to apply the basic video grammar through the interview video production lesson, effectively producing the interview image.

The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics of modular design observed in Korean traditional clothing. Modular design, which is one of the noticeable characteristics of modern fashion design emerged in the 20th century. This study analyzed the Korean traditional culture to investigate the characteristics that show similarities to the modular system in design. A traditional Korean house is composed of small structures called 'chae'. A traditional Korean building is composed of a basic unit space called 'kan', and the rooms are divided and recombined. Korean traditional interior design shows furniture, bedding and art works that could be used, folded then stored. Korean cuisine is served in combination with small dishes. Korean letters are combined in square shaped form to make writing and printing easy. Korean traditional clothing has a way of washing where clothing are disassembled, washed and then re-stitched. The pattern pieces are made to be rectangular shaped so that the fabric pieces can be kept in shape during washing. The rectangular shaped pattern pieces can be replaced and reused after washing. Tops and bottoms could be interchanged for color-coordination, because the shapes of the clothing were standardized. These features exhibit modular system in Korean traditional clothing design. Modular system design has common characteristics which have basic modules, pursue practical purpose, have interchangeability adapted to circumstances, and could be disassembled and re-combined. Korean traditional clothing illustrates different ways of practicing modular system, but has some common features to contemporary modular fashion design.

Music has been created and played in various environments over a long time, with each piece having distinct sentiments and stories. Different people can have varying interpretations of one song depending on their viewpoints shaped by personal experiences and attitudes. In fact, the audience's understanding may differ greatly from the songwriter's intended message. Knowing this, music can serve as a reflection of one's contemporary sentiment. In the works of art such as music, the creator's intention becomes the background of the work or, sometimes, the main meaning. However, given that popular music is often under the control of companies and distributors and influenced by "capital," creators are required to adjust to mainstream preferences and, therefore, cannot fully express themselves in their music. On the other hand, indie music allows creators to pursue their own music given its "independence" from capital. With this, this study aims to collect and analyze data on the activities that Korean indie bands carry out, and examine their meaning and significance in society.

This study aims to classify and examine Changjak Gukak composed by composers who majored in Western music and help the composers with the composition of Changjak Gukak. As a result, it was investigated that Korean traditional musical elements have been used on the basis of the traditional or modern Western composition technique. The traditional composition techniques such as motive, theme, keys, homophony, contrapuntal methods, fugue form, sonata form, baroque concerto form and borrowing of Western art works have been used, and the contemporary composition techniques such as timber melody, a-tonality, irregular meter, poly rhythm and aleatory have been used. In addition, it reflects the Korean expression and identity by applying the Korean traditional instruments, Sigimsae, Jangdan, traditional scale and mode, form and melody.
