  • Component Based Software Development has been recognized as a new software development paradigm, and received much attention among researchers. However, it requires software architecture based development to assure component reusability and efficient software development. This paper proposes the Component Based 4+1 View Model of software architecture to support component based software development. It is redefined on the basis of the existing 4+1 view model of software architecture developed by Kruchten. Also, we describe the elements of the view model in detail with UML. This architecture constructs the foundation of component based software such as increasing the understanding of software and providing the information about how the components interact with each other. It can be done by exposing the context for the use of software components to each views.

  • When Enterprise Architecture(EA) is defined and applied, it is needed to assess the EA capability, and to identify guides for improvement. According to these needs, this paper presents an enterprise architecture maturity model to assess the EA capability, to identify the details for improving EA, to suggest the guides for improvement, and to support decision-making for investment. The model which refers to the continuous representation of CMMI consists of 5 maturity levels, 4 capability areas including 15 capability elements, and capability indications to make a determination of maturity level by capability elements. The model concentrates on the development/stabilization of EA and the connection/coordination over the federal agencies.

  • In order to minimize the damage from system failures, systems over various fields are requested to contain the safety-critical features. In this paper, we deliver the considerable issues, especially, in the cyber physical systems that is recently used as a safety-critical system, as well as we propose the model driven architecture based on time as its the important factor. Based on meta-modeling approach, we introduce the time-based architecture which is associated with deadline, transition state, and threshold, and also we work out a design for this by using model driven architecture. We propose a realizable safety-critical architecture by means of showing failure handling components with safety transaction model from the meta-model. In the detailed models and the example, we design a basic safety processing state, a multiple safety processing state, and a compound safety processing state for completing the safety-critical system architecture.

  • Data is the kernel of IT. We can apply to other architectures are refer to technology and advanced method. Data architecture is our's native that must be implement ourself. It will suggest to the best method to implement for a sound information system that likes to framework of building because data is not sensitive field of evolution and change of technology. Well implemented data architecture can be effectively management and operation. Also this is easily to implement of enterprise architecture. This paper propose a model of implementation data architecture for enterprise architecture.

  • In this paper, 3 layered architecture model and related design guidelines are proposed, which have been actually applied in our national ITS-Architecture design. The domain architecture as the 1st layer is to structure all ITS related domains for maximizing the co-operability in national level. The logical architecture as the 2nd layer is to structure all ITS related application-systems for minimizing duplications, conflicts and dead-zones in service level and maximizing the co-operability in application-system level. The physical architecture as the 3rd layer is to structure all IT(Information Technology) related physical resources for maximizing.

  • Recent Enterprise System has component driven real-time distributed architecture (RDA) and this kind of architecture should performed with satisfying strict constraints on life cycle of object and response time such as synchronization, transaction and so on. Microsoft's .NET platform supports RDA and is able to implement services including before mentioned time restriction and security service by only specifying attribute code and maximizing advantages of OMG's Model Driven Architecture (MDA). In this study, a method to automatically generate an extended model of essential elements in an enterprise-system-based RDA as well as the platform specific model (PSM) for Microsoft's .NET platform are proposed. To realize these ideas, the functionalities that should be considered in enterprise system development are specified and defined in a meta-model and an extended UML profile. In addition, after defining the UML profile for .NET specification, these are developed and applied as plug-ins of the open source MDA tool, and extended models are automatically generated using this tool. Accordingly, by using the proposed specification technology, the profile and tools can easily and quickly generate a reusable extended model even without detailed coding-level information about the functionalities considered in the .NET platform and RDA.

  • This research introduces the architecture of managing products based software. There are many of the architectures for managing products using software instead of manpower. In case of MVC and existing architectures, The architectures transfer redundant data so the architectures cause a problem that unnecessary data moved. This research presents VMDC(View, Model, Dispatcher, Controller) architecture to solve the problem. Dispatcher of VMDC grasps necessary data and reconstructs objects to efficient transferring data. This research shows usecase that designed VMDC(View, Model, Dispatcher, Controller) and demonstrate efficiency of VMDC(View, Model, Dispatcher, Controller) together. after demonstration this research present with next research.

  • Multi-scale model can take both computational efficiency and accuracy into consideration when it is used to conduct elasto-plastic seismic response analysis for complex steel bridges. This paper proposed a method based on pushover analysis of member sharing the same section pattern to verify the accuracy of multi-scale model. A deck-through type steel arch bridge with a span length of 200m was employed for seismic response analysis using multi-scale model and fiber model respectively, the validity and necessity of elasto-plastic seismic analysis for steel bridge by multi-scale model was then verified. The results show that the convergence of load-displacement curves obtained from pushover analysis for members having the same section pattern can be used as a proof of the accuracy of multi-scale model. It is noted that the computational precision of multi-scale model can be guaranteed when length of shell element segment is 1.40 times longer than the width of section where was in compression status. Fiber model can only be used for the predictions of the global deformations and the approximate positions of plastic areas on steel structures. However, it cannot give exact prediction on the distribution of plastic areas and the degree of the plasticity.

  • Purpose: The objective of this study is to develop a predictive model for calculating the amount of cooling load for the different setback temperatures during the setback period. An artificial neural network (ANN) is applied as a predictive model. The predictive model is designed to be employed in the control algorithm, in which the amount of cooling load for the different setback temperature is compared and works as a determinant for finding the most energy-efficient optimal setback temperature. Method: Three major steps were conducted for proposing the ANN-based predictive model - i) initial model development, ii) model optimization, and iii) performance evaluation. Result:The proposed model proved its prediction accuracy with the lower coefficient of variation of the root mean square errors (CVRMSEs) of the simulated results (Mi) and the predicted results (Si) under generally accepted levels. In conclusion, the ANN model presented its applicability to the thermal control algorithm for setting up the most energy-efficient setback temperature.
