This paper presents a conceptual approach to Smart Tourism Design based on semiotic affordances theory. This conceptual approach repositions smart tourism from a techno-centric perspective that frames a seamless connection between the device and its software, to a more human-centric perspective that favors the user's needs, desires as perceived through the senses. An updated Smart Tourism Design emphasizes the aesthetic dimension of smart tourism that presents the objects of the travel experience as destination specific rather than universal, through representations as digital artifacts. This theory is based on an empirical and objective understanding of representations and how they can be identified as useful in the digital augmentation of travel experiences. Using Peirce's sign systems and Gibson's theory of affordances, smart tourism can transcend a prefabricated device-oriented experience to a closer dynamic and direct interaction between the user and the travel destination. Researchers and developers can use semiotics as a structural approach to recognizing objects as sign-types, and they can use affordances to better identify the immediacy of digital artifacts and purpose-driven by users' spontaneous and immediate motives.

Experimentation using computer plays an important part in education and research in graph theory. The purpose of this paper is to develop the CAS techniques for the hands-on approach in graph theory specifically on the topic of constructing the spanning tree. This paper discusses the advantages of CAS as the software system for doing graph theory and introduces the software solutions integrating multimedia user interface developed by the author, which extend the functionality of the existing CAS-based graph theory software package.

This paper focuses on a sociologic approach, the theory of planned behavior (Ajzen 1991) and a sociolinguistic field, the language shift (Fishman 1991, Crystal 2000). It describes the theoretical background of language shift and briefly mentions the history of Hungarian language and Romanian language contacts. After presenting language use of the Hungarian minority students and explaining the theory of planned behavior, it turns to apply the theory of planned behavior to the language shift from the view of bilingual speaker(s). This paper wants to propose the application of the theory of planned behavior in language shift and open new perspective in bilingual research.

The purpose of this study is to define the concept of community based on the residential area and to review the issues on the research of community in related discipline area. The discourse about community has been developed in the field of social psychology, regional planning and architecture, housing studies, and research results by NGO. These studies of community has been dealt with social interaction and norm as well as the physical aspects of community. The research on community has been studied with the approach of structure and functionalist, systems theory approach, conflict theory approach, ecological approach, microsociological approach, and social construction approach. However, these approaches have not integrated together, but recognized community in a social or personal context. The social construction approach among these approaches suggest a useful conceptual framework for studying community in the point of view that social condition changes according to the autonomic individual. Understanding of community will influence to establishing a community norm, to planning a communal space, and to developing strategies of community. And it also takes a Important role t\ulcorner change the housing policy, institution and life style.

This paper presents a new approach to risk comparison in uncertain environment. Based on the uncertainty theory, some uncertain risk measures and risk comparison rules are proposed. Afterward the bridges are built between uncertain risk measures and risk comparison rules. Finally, several comparable examples are given.

In this paper, a new approach for finding the approximate solution of the Stokes problem is introduced. In this method the problem is transformed to an equivalent optimization problem. Then, by considering it as a distributed parameter control system, the theory of measure is used to approximate values of pressure are obtained by a finite difference scheme.

This paper is a report on in-progress investigation on antecedents of IS success in small and medium size enterprises. Previous studies on IS success in SME context largely extends research models derived from a large enterprise context. This research applies the grounded theory approach to 1109 ISP outputs exploring SME specific constructs in successful IS implementation and management. When successful, results of this research will provide insights into theories of IS in SME context that may practically applicable to IS practice in SMEs.

This paper presents a system-of-systems (SoS) approach to the formal modeling of a cyber-physical system (CPS) for simulation-based analysis. The approach is based on a convergence technology for modeling and simulation of a highly complex system in which SoS modeling methodology, hybrid systems modeling theory, and simulation interoperation technology are merged. The methodology maps each constituent system of a CPS to a disparate model of either continuous or discrete types. The theory employs two formalisms for modeling of the two model types with formal specification of interfaces between them. Finally, the technology adapts a simulation bus called DEVS BUS whose protocol synchronizes time and exchange messages between subsystems simulation. Benefits of the approach include reusability of simulation models and environments, and simulation-based analysis of subsystems of a CPS in an inter-relational manner.

This paper presents a fuzzy-goal programming(FGP) approach for Bi-Level Linear Multiple Objective Decision Making(BLL-MODM) problem in a large hierarchical decision making and planning organization. The proposed approach combines the attractive features of both fuzzy set theory and goal programming(GP) for MODM problem. The GP problem has been developed by fixing the weights and aspiration levels for generating pareto-optimal(satisfactory) solution at each level for BLL-MODM problem. The higher level decision maker(HLDM) provides the preferred values of decision vector under his control and bounds of his objective function to direct the lower level decision maker(LLDM) to search for his solution in the right direction. Illustrative numerical example is provided to demonstrate the proposed approach.
