최근 국내 신뢰성 공학의 발전과 연구 동향 및 분석 (Recent Development of Reliability Engineering and Research Trend Analysis in Korea)

  • Since The Korean Reliability Society had been founded in 1999, development history of reliability engineering in Korea is reviewed and research outputs and papers from 2008 to current are analyzed in terms of types of industry, product life cycle, hardware vs software, and theory vs application. The purpose of this research is to review the recent reliability engineering research conducted in Korea including development history as well as published papers to identify the weakness and/or deficiencies in order to suggest the future research directions, which would contribute the development of industries in Korea.

  • One solution to the estimation of product reliability during the development phase is to measure reliability improvement over time and compare this improvement to previous product development progress. This paper presents the reliability growth theory and applies it to some subsystems of vehicles during their design, development and prototype testing. The data presented illustrates explicitly the prediction of the reliability growth in the product development cycle. The application of these techniques is a part of the product assurance function that plays an important role in product reliability improvement.

  • 여러 분야에서 인터넷의 사용이 대중화되면서 다양한 웹 응용들이 개발되고 있으나, 대부분의 경우 체계적인 분석작업을 수행하지 못하고 개발에 뛰어들거나, 대규모 개발 방법론을 적용하면서 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 논문에서는 빠르고 효과적인 개발을 위하여 업무모델로부터 웹 응용을 위한 분석 모델들을 추출하는 방법을 제안하며, 이를 효과적으로 수행하기 위한 작업들과 기법들을 제시한다. UML 활동도의 표기법을 활용한 업무 모델로부터 사용사례도와 웹 페이지 리스트를 생성하며, 이를 기반으로 웹 페이지들의 흐름과 구조를 표현하는 페이지 다이어그램과 논리적, 물리적 데이타베이스 모델들을 작성한다. 이렇게 작성된 분석모델들은 상세설계 단계를 거쳐 정제된다. 제안한 분석방법과 기법들을 웹 기반의 경정비조합 지원시스템 개발에 적용하여 그 효용성을 확인하였다.

고등학생의 스마트 기기 활용 실태와 조리교육 애플리케이션 개발에 대한 인식 비교 연구 (The Recognition Comparison for the Utilization State of Smart Devices and Culinary Education Application Development of High School Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 일반계고와 특성화고의 스마트 기기 활용 실태와 교육용 애플리케이션 개발에 대한 인식수준을 비교 분석하여 보다 효과적인 조리교육 애플리케이션 개발 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 특성화고 학생이 일반고 학생보다 스마트 기기 활용 학습 방법을 더 선호하고, 하루 사용 시간이 더 많았다. 학습 분야는 일반고는 어학, 특성화고는 자격증에서 높게 나타났다. 스마트 기기 활용 학습의 장점은 자투리시간 활용이었고, 인프라를 가장 필요로 하였다. 가장 기대되는 콘텐츠는 일반고는 동영상 강의, 특성화고는 협력학습이었고, 가장 만족하는 것은 이동성이었다. 조리교육용 애플리케이션 개발에 대해 특성화고 학생이 더 많은 필요성을 느끼고 있었고, 더 많이 활용할 계획을 갖고 있었으며, 실습 동영상을 더 선호하였다. 희망 요리 영역은 일반고는 간편 요리, 특성화고는 조리기능사요리를 선호하였고, 애플리케이션은 포털 사이트와 학과 홈페이지에 탑재되기를 희망하였다. 그러므로, 조리교육용 애플리케이션 개발 시 실습 동영상과 조리 레시피가 포함된 시뮬레이션 학습 위주로 제작하고, 평가 기능을 추가하여 학업 성취 수준을 확인할 수 있도록 한다. 조리기능사 요리가 포함된 5분 이내의 콘텐츠가 될 수 있도록 제작하며, 각 차시별 과제 목표를 제시하고, 문제 해결을 위한 정보를 구체적으로 제공한다. 학습 몰입도를 높이기 위해 영상, 음악, 텍스트가 포함된 콘텐츠를 첨부한다. 수업의 시작과 전개, 정리의 흐름이 있도록 하며, SNS 협력학습 서비스를 활용하여 학습 주체간의 소통이 증진될 수 있도록 한다.

  • 본 특별호는 최근 수행되고 있는 다목적실용위성 영상처리 및 활용연구에 대해서 소개하고 있으며, 사설에서는 다목적실용위성 개발 현황과 국가 위성영상 활용정책을 살펴보고 특별호에 소개된 논문의 의의에 대해서 논하였다. 지속적인 위성개발을 통해 활용 가능한 위성영상 자원과 활용정책은 체계적으로 마련되어 있는 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 본 사설에서 소개된 산림 및 도시 변화탐지, 영상보정 기술 등과 같이 다양한 자료처리 및 활용기술 개발이 지속적으로 이루어진다면 국가 위성영상의 활용 경쟁력은 더욱 강화될 것으로 기대된다.

Digital Application of Intangible Cultural Heritage from the Perspective of Cultural Ecology

  • This paper explored the digital application of intangible cultural heritage from the perspective of cultural ecology. Through field investigations, combined with cultural ecology theory, an ontology-based semantic web technology was proposed, and Nanjing "Yunjin" brocade weaving technique was selected as the research object. The specific steps were as follows: First, based on the field surveys and cultural ecology theory, the intangible cultural ecological environment was divided into natural and social environments. Next, constructing the intangible cultural heritage ontology was constructed, including the collection and collation of Nanjing Yunjin weaving technique knowledge corpus, based on user needs analysis and corpus analysis, CIDOC CRM was used to create rules to build the ontology. Finally, based on the MediaWiki platform and Semantic MediaWiki, the semantic web model of the intangible cultural heritage was designed, and its semantic retrieval function was realized, thereby achieving the practical application of intangible cultural heritage digitization. Based on the perspective of cultural ecology, a set of intangible digital application models was proposed, which expanded the digital application of the cultural ecology theory, verified the application of this model in the sustainable development of cultural tourism, and provided reference for the sustainable development of cultural tourism.

UML을 이용한 지그비 어플리케이션모델개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on ZigBee Application Model Development using UML)

  • ZigBee is a technology that is being rapidly developed since its power consumption is low and the stability of its communication is high. However, documented data which is coded using conventional programming languages such as C or assembly programming language would not be able to fulfill the various requirements upon application development by ZigBee. Unified Modelling Languge (UML) could be one of the alternatives to solve this problem. UML provides a variety of diagrams by which the results of the software development can be presented visually and by which the developers can communicate more spontaneously. This paper shows the results of an ongoing study into the application of model-driven methods for ZigBee Application. Also, this paper shows that this approach is feasible by comparing memory usage, latency, and power consumption of UML modelling code with those of handwritten code.

Si RFIC상의 온칩 수동소자에의 응용을 위한 주기적 접지 금속막 선로를 이용한 단파장 전송선로 개발 (Development of Short-Wavelength Transmission Line Employing Periodically Perforated Ground Metal for Application to Miniaturized On-chip Passive Components on Si RFIC)

  • In this study, highly miniaturized short-wavelength transmission line employing periodically perforated ground metal (PPGM) structures were developed for application to miniaturized on-chip passive component on Si RFIC. The transmission line employing PPGM structure showed shorter wavelength and lower characteristic impedance than conventional coplanar-type transmission line. The wavelength of the transmission line employing PPGM structure was 57% of the conventional coplanar-type transmission line on Si Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit (RFIC) substrate. Basic characteristics of the transmission line employing PPGM structure were also investigated in order to evaluate its suitability for application to a development of miniaturized passive on-chip components. According to the results, it was found that the PPGM structure is a promising candidate for application to a development of miniaturized on-chip passive components on Si RFIC.

  • Although sustainable development of a city should in theory be based on updated spatial information like land cover/use changes, in practice there are no effective tools to get such information. However the development of satellite and sensor technologies has increased the supply of high resolution satellite data, allowing cost-effective, multi-temporal monitoring. Especially KOMPSAT-1(KOrea Multi-Purpose SATellite) acquired a large number of images of the whole Korean peninsula and covering some large cities a number of times. In this study land-use patterns and trends of Daejeon from the year 2000 to the year 2003 will be considered using land use maps which are generated by manual interpretation of multi-temporal KOMPSAT EOC imagery and to show the possibility of using high resolution satellite remote sensing data for urban analysis.

Nano Esto: USN 응용 소프트웨어 개발을 위한 통합개발환경 (Nano Esto: An IDE for USN Application Developers)

  • Integrated development environment (IDE) plays an important role in reducing the developm ent time, thereby improving software development productivity. In recent years, ubiquitous sensor networks (USNs) have become increasingly popular. However their application software is developed mostly using command-line-based tools. Such a development process is not only likely to be error-prone but also inconvenient to debug errors. This paper describes a novel IDE for USN application developers called Nano Esto that provides a single, consistent, and integrated environment for building and executing USN applications. The Nano Esto helps the developers edit and cross-compile source code and download the executable image to the program memory of sensor nodes with just a few button clicks. It also provides support for configuring an application-specific kernel, simulating a wireless sensor network, and estimating power consumption in each sensor node. Currently, Nano Esto runs on Linux as well as on Windows with the same look and feel.
