Glutinous rice dduk, traditional Korean rice cake, was prepared using rice(white glutinous rice, brown glutinous rice, black glutinous rice, gaba glutinous rice) as a meal alternative, and each of their quality characteristics were compared. This study had checked sensory tests, color differences, moisture contents, texture characteristics, and storage lives of dduk during storage at room temperature for 6 days. The moisture contents of black glutinous rice dduk scored the highest. For color properties, gaba glutinous rice dduk was darker with a decreased yellow value, whereas its red value was higher comparing with that of brown glutinous rice dduk. The results of the preference test showed that appearance, flavor, texture, and overall preference were the highest in white glutinous rice dduk, whereas black glutinous rice dduk showed the lowest score. The results of the color difference test showed that softness, viscoelasticity, and fineness were the highest in white glutinous rice dduk, whereas black glutinous rice dduk showed the highest difference in color. For individual textural characteristics, black glutinous rice dduk showed the highest score, whereas white glutinous rice dduk showed the lowest scores in hardness, chewiness, and gumminess. In the results of the textural characteristics of dduk during storage, white glutinous rice dduk showed the highest increase in hardness after 48 hours, whereas black glutinous rice dduk showed the lowest increase. White glutinous rice dduk showed the highest increases in chewiness and gumminess. Cohesiveness decreased in all glutinous rice dduk. In the results of fungal occurrence in dduk during storage, black and gaba glutinous rice dduk showed increased fungi occurrence compared with white and brown glutinous rice dduk after 6 days. In conclusion, the overall preference for glutinous rice dduk made from different rice is more affected by appearance or texture than flavor.

The purpose of this study is to perform the effectively advanced airway management in an emergency patient with cardiac arrest and trauma by comparing the appearance of influence in a change of visual-field height upon endotracheal intubation according to a change in position with intubation of paramedics in a moving ambulance and by analyzing the appearance of the influence in a patient's change in position with intubation upon speed in endotracheal intubation. Research subjects were randomly extracted 60(30 people for control group, 30 people for experimental group) people as the paramedics who are working at 13 fire stations in C Province. Data analysis was carried out ${\chi}^2$-test, independent t-test, paired t-test by using SPSS WIN 14.0 Version. As a result of research, to improve speed of the advanced airway management, it is considered to be likely effective in a patient's sniffing position and in the endotracheal intubation in the upper space of the main stretcher. The self-confidence in intubation after experiment increased significantly. Thus, the continuous education(training) on the intubation position and method within ambulance is considered to be likely needed for improving efficiency of the advanced airway management.

This study was conducted to determine the reasonable soaking period of glutinous rice for laver Bugak (Korean traditional fried dishes) processing and to identify the sensory characteristics of three kinds of laver Bugak made with different starch pastes: GRice_1d using glutinous rice soaked for 1 day; GRice_7d using glutinous rice fermented for 7 days; and Wheat using flour. Descriptive analysis was performed by 10 trained panelists, and the 92 consumers evaluated the overall acceptance (OL), acceptance of appearance (APPL), odor (ODL), flavor (FLL), and texture (TXTL) of the samples using a 9-point hedonic scale. From the measurement result by scanning electron microscope (SEM), there were differences in the surface characteristics among soaking period for 1 day and 7 days. Ten panelists were trained, and they evaluated the appearance, odor/aroma, flavor/taste, texture/mouth feel, and after taste attributes of these samples. 36 attributes were generated by panelists and 12 attribute were significantly different across products (p<0.05). It was found that the Grice_7d sample was characterized by mouthfeel of crispiness and uniformity of bubbles, and the Wheat sample was characterized by surface of roughness, mouthfeel of crispiness and adhesiveness, relatively. And the Grice_1d sample was characterized by surface of roughness, mouthfeel of roughness, hardness, cohesiveness, toughness, and adhesiveness.
This study was conducted to demonstrate the differences in people's beauty involvement, hair attitude and cognitive in accordance with their interest in celebrities and television. Also, the difference between cognitive age and real age was studied. Research subjects were females aged 20s to 50s living in Seoul and the surrounding metropolitan areas. The SPSS 19.0 was used for data analysis. The results were as follows: First, the involvement in TV entertainers' was categorized into "TV entertainer fashion fan group," "TV entertainer follower group," and "TV program interest group." Second, The involvement of beauty was divided into skin management and expression, body management, makeup and hair attitude. The factors for hair attitude come from the following four actors: "hair creator fan group", "hair homeostasis-oriented," "hair differentiation factor," and "hair personnel-oriented group." Third, the analysis for the differences in the involvement of beauty based on the people's interest in TV appearances of entertainers was that there was a significant difference in skin care and expression, body management, makeup and hair attitude. The interest groups for the entertainers' TV appearances showed the highest in all of the above categories. Fourth, The analysis for the cognitive age for the "TV entertainer interest group" showed little difference in cognitive age, age of sensibility, age of physical appearance, behavior age, and age of interest. Fifth, The result for the difference in the actual age and cognitive age for different age groups showed that there was a little difference in average cognitive age including the age of sensibility, age of physical appearance, behavior age, and age of interest.
The purpose of this study is to analyze University Woman Students' recognition of their physical bodies and the effects that their recognition has on their image and satisfaction of their physical bodies. The result of study is as follows. 1) According to the result of the analysis of the difference between University Woman Students students' practical physical sizes and ideal sizes, it was showed that their heights and burst should be larger than their practical physical sizes but their waist, hip, and weight should be reduced.2) According to the result of the analysis of the factors for the evaluation of University Woman Students students' behavioral body images, Factor I was 'Management of Appearance', factor II was 'Management of Weight' and Factor III was 'Satisfaction of Appearance'. Considering the result of correlation of factors of the body images, it was showed that the more interest they had on their appearances, the more management they had on their weights. 3) They had comparatively positive recognition on their physical bodies. However, regarding their degrees of the satisfactions on their physical parts, they showed somewhat dissatisfaction on all the items of their physical parts. 4) According to the result of the analysis of the correlation between their recognition of the physical types and their satisfaction of them, it was showed that they had more satisfactions when their heights were higher and their weights were lighter. In addition, it was showed that they had more satisfaction when they had larger busts and regarding their waists, hips, upper arms, lower arms, wrists, thighs, and calf measurements, they had more satisfactions when they had thinner ones and regarding their shoulders' measurements, it was showed that they had more satisfactions when they had narrower shoulders' measurements.
This study was conducted to identify sensory characteristics of soy-meat samples by trained panels and to observe the relationship between these sensory characteristics and consumer acceptability of the samples. Descriptive analysis was performed on eight samples; four types of patty style soy-meat samples (Soy-meat Patty; SP) made with a Ddukgalbi recipe (YSP, VSP, LSP, and SSP) and four types of Bulgogi style soy-meat samples (Soy-meat Bulgogi; SB) made with a Bulgogi recipe (YSB, VSB, LSB, and SSB). Seven panelists were trained, and they evaluated the appearance, odor/aroma, flavor/taste, texture/mouth feel, and after taste attributes of these samples. Forty attributes were generated by panelists, and 37 attributes were significantly different across products (p<0.05). The SB group was characterized by beef, leek, and garlic flavor as well a sweetness, denseness, slipperiness, chewiness, and pepper after taste. The SP group was characterized by roughness, particle size, rancid oil flavor, raw bean flavor, astringent, sourness, and adhesiveness. Consumer test (n=125) showed that the VSB sample had the highest scores for acceptability of appearance, flavor, texture, and overall liking. The PLSR results show that the attributes that were more positively associated with acceptance of soy-meat samples were beef taste, wetness, and chewiness, whereas the raw bean smell and rancid oil flavor attributes were negative.
It is a reality that office workers in modern society cannot overlook their appearance management for promotion in the workplace that does not fall behind in competition with others and smooth human relationships. According to this social trend, it is time to conduct an in-depth cosmetology study on the appearance management and perception of office workers, including hair styles. Therefore, this study analyzed the hair style type and preference closely by cross-analyzing the differences between groups by classifying the occupational persons of female airline crew, female soldiers, female sportsmen, female lawyers, and female nurses into age, marriage, academic background, and occupation. As result of study, it was found that different women in each occupational group had different results, such as their current hair style type and hair texture, the use of current hair styling products, and their personal preference for women's hairstyles and hair colors. This study will be used as basic data for developing new mode items that meet customer needs in the beauty marketing market and researching customer demand.
Most merchant of traditional markets think that the condition of market management is getting worse because of decreasing customers caused appearance of large retail stores such as discount store and changing of consumer's life style. Therefore special law was legislated for the activation of traditional markets in 2005. This special law include important articles about surroundings improvement, business management modernization and redevelopment of traditional markets. According to the small and medium business administration data, korea government furnished 177billion and 11billion(won) separately for the facilities and management modernization of traditional markets. Traditional markets of whole country planned and practiced modernization of facilities and management of traditional markets. And most of traditional markets interested in a large project such as establishment of arcade and car parking, remodelling of building, pavement of passageway etc. By the way, under the long term viewpoint, a large project presented above are not the best solution for the traditional markets because of its effectiveness. Maybe, for example, improvement of store signboard and display stand is more effective for the long time. As the problem of management modernization, yet a credit transactions. is the most important factor, only four markets have a plan for the credit transactions. And above all, we must realize that activation of traditional markets can be accomplished by merchant's own initiative participation.

Sign system is one of the most widely used guide media in scenic spots. It plays vital role in introducing cultural values of destinations to tourists with better visit experience. The purpose of this study is to derive the influence factors of the sign system of Mount Tai scenic area for tourists, analyze the satisfaction of tourists, and provide suggestions for the sign system of Mount Tai Mountaineering Road to improve tourists' satisfaction in the future. The evaluation items of Mount Tai Mountaineering Road sign system were derived from the previous studies and then subdivided comprehensively. Survey by questionnaires was carried out to obtain the influence factors. In order to understand the satisfaction degree of tourists, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation was implemented. The research results of this study are summarized as follows. First, four influence factors of the sign system on Mountaineering Road of Mount Tai were concluded as the interpretation content, appearance modeling, interpretation methods and layout management. Second, the order of weight values of influence factors was the interpretation content, appearance modeling, interpretation methods and layout management respectively from high to low, which means that tourists paid more attention to practicality and aesthetics. Third, the satisfaction degree of the tourists on the sign system was different. The satisfaction level for the three factors (interpretation content, appearance modeling, layout management) was good, while the satisfaction for interpretation method was medium. The reason was that it failed to deepen the understanding of tourists on the natural and cultural values of Mount Tai Mountaineering Road. These results indicate great significance to provide theoretical basis for the later readjustment and design of the sign system and to improve the overall satisfaction of tourists on tourism experience.

This study aims at restoring urban forest destructed and eliminated by industrialization, urbanization, and city development and presenting a direction to manage remaining urban forest ecologically. To this end, an experiment zone where Populus tomentiglandulosa T. Lee were selective cutted and a control zone where Populus tomentiglandulosa T. Lee were kept intact were created in Chongdam Park located in Kangnam-ku, Seoul. Then, the structural changes of herbaceous plant species, the growth of targeted woody plants, and the increase of the number of insect and bird species were examined. The conclusions reached in this study are as follows. First, for the sake of ecological restoration and management of urban forest, it is good to selective cutting. Although timing, frequency, and methods may vary depending on the features and types of urban forest, the study revealed that selective cutting contributes to the restoration speed of origin vegetation and the enhancement of biodiversity including plants and insects. Second, as for the correlations of selective cutting and the appearance of plant species, the growth of origin vegetation, and insect distribution, the study showed that the impact of meteorological environment such as brightness is much greater than that of soil environment. Third, in order to manage urban forest, tramping pressure needs to be controlled efficiently. The efficient control of tramping pressure would contribute in the appearance of herbaceous plants. It would also be beneficial in promoting biodiversity of birds by removing the impact of people using routes. Fourth, in order to enhance the overall biodiversity of urban forest, diverse environment needs to be provided. In particular, it is necessary to supply water that is insufficient in urban forest. Providing habitats such as forest wetland performs an important function to amphibians and birds that require water as well as the appearance of aquatic plants and insects. Therefore, ways to introduce water efficiently should be initiated.
