Purpose The purpose of this study focused on adopting production systems in cognitive psychology to improve the extraction process of persuasive design characteristics for healthcare-related mobile applications. Design/Methodology/Approach A research approach with four stages was developed. We developed and updated the evaluation guideline for persuasive design characteristics (PDC). We tried to summarize and analyze each of 28 PDC and prepared related production rules. Verification process for both guideline approach and production system approach were performed. Top one hundred apps from both medical category and health and Fitness category were selected and evaluated by two approaches. By comparing the results of the two approaches, we tried to explain the improvement and reliability of introducing the production system in the PDC extraction process. Findings Based on the updated guideline for healthcare-related mobile applications, a production system in cognitive psychology was developed. By comparing the PDC extraction results by two approaches, production system showed a better improvement for evaluation precision and efficiency for decision-making process. The findings of this study can be used for researchers and app developers to apply production system to analyze, evaluate, and develop better healthcare-related apps with persuasion.
Purpose - The development and implementation of OSS (Open Source Software) led to a dramatic change in corporate IT infrastructure, from system server to smart phone, because the performance, reliability, and security functions of OSS are comparable to those of commercial software. Today, OSS has become an indispensable tool to cope with the competitive business environment and the constantly-evolving IT environment. However, the use of OSS is insufficient in small and medium-sized companies and software houses. This study examines the need for OSS Intermediaries in the Software Distribution Channel. It is expected that the role of the OSS Intermediary will be reduced with the improvement of the distribution process. The purpose of this research is to prove that OSS Intermediaries increase the efficiency of the software distribution market. Research design, Data, and Methodology - This study presents the analysis of data gathered online to determine the extent of the impact of the intermediaries on the OSS market. Data was collected using an online survey, conducted by building a personal search robot (web crawler). The survey period lasted 9 days during which a total of 233,021 data points were gathered from sourceforge.net and Apple's App store, the two most popular software intermediaries in the world. The data collected was analyzed using Google's Motion Chart. Results - The study found that, beginning 2006, the production of OSS in the Sourceforge.net increased rapidly across the board, but in the second half of 2009, it dropped sharply. There are many events that can explain this causality; however, we found an appropriate event to explain the effect. It was seen that during the same period of time, the monthly production of OSS in the App store was increasing quickly. The App store showed a contrasting trend to software production. Our follow-up analysis suggests that appropriate intermediaries like App store can enlarge the OSS market. The increase was caused by the appearance of B2C software intermediaries like App store. The results imply that OSS intermediaries can accelerate OSS software distribution, while development of a better online market is critical for corporate users. Conclusion - In this study, we analyzed 233,021 data points on the online software marketplace at Sourceforge.net. It indicates that OSS Intermediaries are needed in the software distribution market for its vitality. It is also critical that OSS intermediaries should satisfy certain qualifications to play a key role as market makers. This study has several interesting implications. One implication of this research is that the OSS intermediary should make an effort to create a complementary relationship between OSS and Proprietary Software. The second implication is that the OSS intermediary must possess a business model that shares the benefits with all the participants (developer, intermediary, and users).The third implication is that the intermediary provides an OSS of high quality like proprietary software with a high level of complexity. Thus, it is worthwhile to examine this study, which proves that the open source software intermediaries are essential in the software distribution channel.
Purpose - This study focuses on use intention of mobile travel Apps by Chinese tourists visiting Korea based on UTAUT model, ISS model and ITM model. And the corresponding market promotion schemes are proposed for operators of mobile travel Apps by the research results. Research design, data, and methodology - After collecting 326 respondents in China with cross-sectional questionnaires, this study begins the empirical research with users of mobile travel Apps, and analyzes data with IBM SPSS 23.0 and IBM AMOS 23.0. Results - The results of this study include the following aspects: firstly, the System quality and Information quality are accepted for hypotheses of Satisfaction and Performance expectancy. Secondly, the Personal Propensity to Trust and Firm Reputation are accepted for Initial Trust hypothesis, and the hypotheses of Firm Reputation and Initial Trust are accepted for Use Intention. Thirdly, the Performance expectancy, Effort expectancy, Social influence are accepted for Use Intention hypothesis. Conclusions - With the increase of tourists visiting Korea, it can be predicted that the needs visiting Korea will be increased persistently for Chinese - this trend brings about the increase of the Chinese travel. First, information quality greatly influences satisfaction and performance expectancy. The research result shows that, the higher the mobile traveling App's information quality is, the higher the satisfaction and performance expectancy will be. Therefore, operators of mobile traveling App should have in-depth investigations towards users, to know the latter's real demand to the information quality and then provide corresponding services. Second, performance expectancy and effort expectancy greatly influence users' intention. Therefore, mobile traveling App operators should improve Apps' convenience and efficiency and, in doing so, find an effective method for market expansion. Third, social influence greatly affects users' intention. The result shows that mobile traveling App operators should pay attention to the influence of mass media and friends' recommendation on users, thereby it is necessary to improve advertisement activities. Fourth, initial trust also influences users' intention. The result shows that initial trust is a key element inducing users to generate use intention. Therefore, mobile traveling Apps operators should make efforts to catch elements that influence users' initial trust.
Purpose: his study aims to explore how healthcare provider service characteristics in telemedicine services, which have become more common since the pandemic, affect rapport formation and service satisfaction with healthcare providers. Research design, data and methodology: A group of actual telemedicine users underwent data collection and empirical analysis. After analyzing reliability and validity, hypotheses were tested using a structural equation model. Results: Key perceived attributes of healthcare providers in telemedicine services were identified as doctor effort, doctor listening, and doctor expertise. Each of these variables had a significant positive impact on trust in telemedicine. Moreover, these attributes significantly positively impacted rapport formation and user service satisfaction, which was mediated by trust. However, the direct impact of rapport formation on service satisfaction was not supported. Conclusions: The study's findings have academic and practical implications for expanding telemedicine services. As an initial empirical study on telemedicine services, it confirms the importance of trust and rapport formation even in non-face-to-face medical situations. In order to overcome the limitations of non-physical contact, telemedicine services should strive to develop UI/UX designs that are more interoperable and boost trust in service apps.
본 연구는 수학교육의 연구 방법론에 대한 많은 변화와 더불어 교과과정 개발의 과학적 접근에 대한 필요성이 증대되는 수학교육 연구 경향에 비추어, RME의 개발연구를 고찰함으로써, 우리나라의 좀더 발전적인 수학 교과과정 개발을 위한 시사점을 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 RME 개발연구의 배경과 이론적 틀, 개발연구의 목표, 절차, 자료수집, 자료분석, 정당화 과정을 포함한 개발연구의 방법론에 대해 살펴보았다. 마지막으로 우리나라의 수학 교과과정 개발의 개선을 위해 수학교육의 이론과 실제를 반영한 교육과정 문서의 구성, 교과과정 개발 배경에 대한 충실한 보고, 교과과정 개발 절차 개정의 필요성을 논하였다.
Purpose - Recently, the mobile application field has been receiving astronomical attention from the past few years due to the growing number of mobile app downloads and withal due to the revenues being engendered. Especially delivery apps by mobile service market is experiencing rapid growth and competition is intensifying. Therefore, delivery apps' choice attributes has become important as a strategy for survival of franchise firms. Based on previous studies, this research proposed the theoretical framework about the structural relationships among customer satisfaction, trust and revisit intention on delivery apps' choice attributes. Research design, data, and methodology - This study examines the structural relationship between choice attributes of using the delivery app, satisfaction, trust, and revisit intention. More specifically, this study has been examined from the perspective of Generation Y who is enjoying electronic commerce and shopping with mobile phone. In this model, choice attributes of delivery app consists of three sub-dimensions such as service quality, system quality, interaction quality. So as to test the purposes of this study, research model and hypotheses were developed. After excluding 24 invalid respondent questionnaires, 201 valid questionnaires were coded and analyzed using frequency, confirmatory factor analysis, correlations analysis, and structural equation modeling with SPSS 21 and SmartPLS 3.0. Result - The results of the study are as follows. First, service quality and interaction quality had positive effects on satisfaction, and interaction quality had positive effects on trust, but system quality did not have a significant effect on both satisfaction and trust. Second, satisfaction had positive effects on both trust and revisit intention. Third, trust had positive effects on revisit intention. Conclusions - The implications of this study are following as: From the theoretical perspective, this study confirms the effect of delivery apps' choice attributes on satisfaction, trust, and revisit intention. In addition, it is significant that we examined the influence of choice attributes of delivery apps on their attitudes and behaviors of Generation Y familiar with mobile environment. Through this study, we hypothesized that the attributes of service quality and interaction quality of delivery apps have a significant effect on customer satisfaction, and this can be expected to provide meaningful implications for the development of franchise restaurant industry. To encourage continuous repurchase through customer satisfaction, franchise companies need to establish various strategic alliances with delivery app companies and new growth engines by providing diverse and high-quality services to customers in the smart age.

Objective: The practice of breathing exercises involves altering the depth and frequency of respiration. Strengthening respiratory muscles plays a crucial role in maintaining overall health and well-being. The efficiency of the respiratory system affects not only physical activity but also various physiological processes including cardiovascular health, lung function, and cognitive abilities. The study evaluated the reliability of the developed device for inspiratory/expiratory training using pressure sensors and Bluetooth connectivity with a smartphone application. Design: Design & development research Methods: The research methodology involved connecting a custom-made respiratory sensor to an IMT-PEP BIC Breath device. Various pressure conditions were measured, and statistical analyses were performed to assess reliability and consistency. Results showed high Intraclass Coefficient Correlation (ICC) values for both inspiratory and expiratory pressures, indicating strong test-retest reliability. The device was designed for ease of use and wireless monitoring through a smartphone app. Results: This study conducted at expiratory pressure confirmed the proper operation of the IMT/PEP breathing trainer at the specified pressure setting in the product. The pressure sensor demonstrated high test-retest reliability with an ICC value of 0.999 for both expiratory and inspiratory pressure measurements. Conclusions: The developed respiratory training device measured and monitored inspiratory and expiratory pressures, demonstrating its reliability for respiratory training. The system could be utilized to record training frequency and intensity, providing potential benefits for patients requiring respiratory interventions. Further research is needed to assess the full potential of the device in diverse populations and applications.
Purpose This study aims to analyze the current status of consumer awareness on Internet banks by conducting a full investigation and collecting user opinions presented on Google Play. After cateogorizing the current dissatisfaction, we would like to present not only the direction of the Internet bank service of but also the improvements of the platform. Design/methodology/approach Using opinion mining, subjectivity analysis, polarity analysis, and polarity information analysis of comments were conducted step by step to extract negative and positive keywords. The extracted keywords analyzed the weights of the frequently appearing positive and negative keywords using the TF-IDF model. Based on previous studies that negative information is more sensitive to positive information, we tried to confirm the connection, proximity, and mediation of negative keywords. Semantic Network Analysis (SNA) was used to visualize the connection relationship between the negative comment keywords of the three Internet banks. Findings Domestic Internet banks such as Kakao Bank, K-Bank, and Toss Bank have attracted a lot of attention even before they were established, and after establishment, they have secured a wide range of users through platforms that are completely different from existing banks. This study found out that the convenience of the app affects the opening and transaction of non-face-to-face accounts, which are characteristics of domestic Internet banks, which also affects the bank's business strategy. In addition, this study shows that the business characteristics of the company can be identified.
Purpose: The primary objective of this research is to propose answers of rider's accident of food retailer in South Korea, in view of business sustainability of food retailer and his precious fate of rider who is a father that has a responsibility to the family. Research design, data, and methodology: We investigated previous studies such as food retailer, delivery, delivery application of mobile, rider's accident and statistics of delivery business agency, motorcycle accident ratio, annual fatalist, and further we analyzed cases of rider's accidents. Results: Rider's accident on the road toward food retailer is serious risky factor to their business reputation, corporate image, because claim amount related to death and physical/mental disability can be heavily damaged to food retailer. The point when rider dies is that rider is a person responsible for supporting his/her family, that is, a life itself issue together with downfall of family. Conclusions: In view of growth of South Korean' delivery rider industry, the authors recommended that focus of stability and sustainablity of both food retailer and delivery rider should establish to executable and practical ideas such as rider's readiness, abandon of speed guarantee, duty of delivery app business and legal aids.
Purpose - This study intends to verify if the m-VALS developed to help the establishment of the mobile shopping vitalization strategy is classified as the same type as it is in the adult customers. Research design, data, and methodology - A total of 84 valid copies of the questionnaire were used. Factor analysis was performed first, as well as performing reliability and validity analysis after deducing the factors, and the simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis techniques were employed. Results - The m-VALS needs verification through various groups and the delicateness of the questions needs to be ensured; further, for all the lifestyle types in relation to the mobile shopping acceptance incentives, all the remaining lifestyle types excepting the sociability-oriented type had a positive effect on consistent use intention.
