  • Amenity is an essential factor of Modern Apartment. But because of many chemical products and noxious volatile organic compound(VOC) used in the apartment, many people are exposed to them. This fact implies that there can be many disease caused by them. Therefore to reduce pollutant matters inducing sick house syndrom, measures for new furniture and apartment dweller were suggested in this study.

  • Since 2011, apartment houses account for about 41% of the fires in residential facilities for the past 10 years. Fire-resistant performance of fire doors is becoming more important to prevent the spread of fire in apartment houses. This research analyzed the structure of fire door through each 10 DB based on the quality inspection report of Continuous Acquisition & Life-cycle Support(CALS) from 2016 to 2020, which passed the fire performance test based on the laws and notices of domestic fire door. Therefore, based on the results of the analysis of DB in the future, we will conduct a study on structural improvement and addition for fireproof performance improvement of fire door.

The Study on the Renovation Method of Apartment House Ventilation System for Reducing Indoor Air Contamination (실내오염 저감을 위한 공동주택 환기시스템의 개선방안에 대한 연구)

  • Recently, Indoor air quality (IAQ) is one of the most important problem in our daily life of modern societies. Mechanical ventilation system is being recommended as an effective method to improve IAQ in apartment houses. And then, in Korea, building industry should install ventilation system in apartment house by the building construction code. In this study, to improve IAQ caused by microbial and chemical contaminant such as bacteria and TVOC, three types of mechanical ventilation system of apartment house including HRV were simulated by multizone modeling. Simulation results suggest an appropriate and economical renovation method of apartment house ventilation system for reducing indoor air contamination.

  • The latest domestic construction sector is receiving economic damage because of defect litigation. The Concrete Crack among them has the largest component in expense of apartment house defect. Also, contradictory suggestion of appraiser is problem. To improve these problem, need objective plan that people concerned can recognize about decision sequence. Therefore, in this study, compared general defect investigation and defect decision of appraiser taking advantage of Data Dictionary analysis method. Also, deduced current problem and amelioration plan.

  • In contemporary residential culture, apartment houses can form individual independent residential areas within narrow territory. By using various building materials compared to the past, apartment house is recognized as an aesthetic space by modern people. However, as the number of cases of tile defects in apartment complexes has surged recently, aesthetic factors and quality of life have been reduced, and hundreds of millions of defects have been charged to builders every year. The tile defects in the apartment complexes of 90 domestic complexes are cracked, lifted, damaged, and dropped off. Most of the tile defects are caused by poor construction, but the defect occurrence rate due to thermal stress mechanism is high. Therefore, this paper investigates the case of tile defects in apartment house and identifies the defects and examines the problems that should be improved to reduce the defects of tiles in the building interior.

  • Ondol is a tradtional Korea heating system with a long history. The ondol heating system is a default in ordinary houses and high-rise apartment alike. But Intensified Architecture Law insulation standard can't satisfied standard insulation only light weight concrete in ondol. The between light weight concrete and slab apply EPS insulation is construct for generate a method of construction. The standard insulation for floor heating system is responsible but complicate construction thermal transmittance and absorber, deteriorate the cost and decreasing the performance insulation & impact floor sound. In study on the evaluation decrease heating-load of floor construction of the insulation & absorber that improvement floor a Apartment house.

  • Recently construction companies expand position for apartment house in construction market because of house supply rate increase and its amount. In addition, because the focus of house sale market has moved to customer from supplier, the importance of defect management is being issued currently. However, current apartment defect management is not satisfied with customer's demand for the lack of business process management, management organization, information feedback, and readiness for defect in construction phase. To solve this problem, this study proposed business process management improvement model for defect management. Proposed improvement model make information feedback, defect management business quality improvement, and improper process improvement through integrating defect management and quality management. It is expected to contribute to customer's satisfaction improvement and reliance improvement for construction companies.

Prediction of Heating Energy Saving Rate on the Window Type-Focus on the Apartment House (창호 구성 요소에 따른 난방에너지 절감율 예측에 관한 연구-공동주택을 중심으로)

  • This is study on the glazing performance of the apartment house to predict energy saving rate when the early design stage by calculating heating load. there are various factors of the window type in apartment building to save energy such as window's U-value, SC or SHGC, window wall ration, frame factor, sunshade coefficient and so on. In this study, we analyzed the heating load focused on the U-value, SC and window wall ration using variable heating degree days method for a small and middle size units $59m^2$, $84m^2$, respectively. Each cases were calculated heating load of the real models compared to standard model to predict energy saving rate. From those cases it was drew the conclusion that were window's U-value, SC and window wall ration for the small and middle size units to expect 10% energy saving rate at least.

  • Nowaday the natural ventilation rate decreases because the apartment housing is being air-tight. Therefore, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and indoor environment grow worse. Especially, Formaldehyde (HCHO), Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) which is emitted from the building materials and coating material etc. occur Sick House Syndrome that cause negative impact on resident's respiratory system and body. Therefore in construction field, it will be a important issues that development of a ventilation system with high effectiveness which can exhaust the contaminant out of the building quickly. In this research we evaluated 'wall attachable duct-less Heat Recovery Ventilation (HRV) system with air cleaning function'. We executed a synthetic evaluation about indoor air environment under various operating condition installing the system in real scale apartment house that is built in Anyang city. HRV system with air cleaning function showed good performance by removing HCHO, VOCs with less ventilation energy.

  • According to the Korea National Statistical Office data in 2010, the population over ages of 65 years would possess to 11.3% whole population of Korea in 2011 denoting Korea is already in the aging society. Old age is associated with inevitable time-dependent losses in physical capabilities. However the maintenance of physical capabilities is essential for continuing independence in old age. The work ability index(WAI) was constructed to reveal how well a worker is able to perform his work. This study focused on the discovery of an industrial and age-related influences on the work ability and job stress of workers in the shipbuilding, house managing, apartment construction industry. For this, the study conducted a job stress test using the Korean Occupational Stress Questionnaire Short Form, and employee performance evaluations using the Work Ability Index (WAI) of the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health (FIOH) on 3,228 workers in the shipbuilding, house managing and apartment construction industry. SPSS 12.0 K statistics program was used for statistics analysis and significance was verified with the Kruskal-Wallis test, a corporate body of nonparametric statistical analysis. As a result, employee performance had significant differences, depending on age, an industrial and years of service. The mean WAI score of the shipbuilding industry was lower than that of the other industry. Additionally, it was found that employee work ability decreased more as job stress increased.
