지역냉방 공동주택 적정 냉방부하 산정 (The Estimation of Cooling Load for District Cooling in Apartment Buildings)

  • The purpose of this study is to establish a standard for unit cooling load in central control type apartment applied district cooling. The model of unit household was selected. And the standard of coefficient of overall heat transmission, location of unit household, indoor air temperature, solar radiation & thermal conduction at window and interior load was selected, and region, expansion or non-expansion of balcony, pyeong type, azimuth, rate of window area was applied as parameter. And then cooling load simulation was performed. Based on the result of simulation, the synthetic district cooling load was presented for selecting heat source of apartment applied district cooling, and unit cooling load was analyzed according to design parameter.

  • Recently, the regulation about HEE(horizontally installed emergency exit) established at upper 4story in apartment houses was introduced by revising enforcement degree of Building Act. HEE is a facility for egress to lower story through floor breach and ladder system so that it gives a useful evaquation way directly to an individual household in apartment when they failed to evacuate through the entrance door. HEE may offer an opportunity to optain two way egress path ways instead of evacuation space at balcony and through path way to adjacent household in building and that might be an big strengh. but it needs to guarantee for against the crime, getting detailed reviews for being security and supplementation of fire test methods.

가족생활주기에 따른 수납 의식 및 요구 비교 (A Study on Residents' Perceptions and Needs for Storage according to the Family Life Cycle)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine residents' perception and needs for storage according to the family life cycle. In order to achieve our goal, the questionnaire survey is used. We sample the questionnaire surveys of 250 apartment households in Seoul. The data collect by the questionnaire survey was analyzed by examining the frequency, percentage on the SPSS/PC+ Statistics package. The results of the study are obtained as follows: 1) In research on the actual storage condition, residents tend to feel constraint on storage of the season goods and the storage satisfaction on the service area is founded lowest. Therefore, it is needed more efficient space plan on the balcony storage and the interior storage for the season goods. 2) In research on the storage consciousness and attitude, residents tend to keep the goods of no use and prefer to arrange neatly rather than use conveniently. Therefore, it is needed more efficient space in the balcony for the storage of the goods of no use and the colsed furniture rather than the open furniture is suited for arrangement. 3) In research on the storage needs, needs for the built-in furniture in all family life cycle show highly and residents want to a space for the exclusive use of the storage. In a solution, we propose to equip with the interior storage and the exterior cooperative storage

  • The apartment will be much more convenient than the other one in the application of green technologies, providing the merits by mass production. For example, pre-manufactured building materials can be effectively adapted to the formation of buildings. Recently, the form of double-enveloped window system has been developed for the purposed of minimizing energy loss occurred around windows. On the other hand, the expansion of balcony area was legalized and thus, a visual buffer area does not exist any more. All-glass window wall on apartment houses without a balcony produces pretty harmful area with direct sunbeam. A various types of glass can be applied to the window system and it plays a critical role in the determination of inner visual environment. For the purpose of verifying the potential of its daylighting, a mock-up model has been constructed and tested. The refurbished version of conventional window shows its illuminated characteristics. Clear and Low-e glass have been adapted for window area and daylighting ratio has been compared in both test cells.

ECO2 프로그램을 이용한 공동주택의 단위세대 평면 형태에 따른 에너지 효율 평가 (The Influence of Unit Plan Shapes to the Energy Efficiency of Collective Housing Simulated by ECO2 Software)

  • Purpose: Various policies to reduce the energy consumption have been carried out to save Earth environment against global warming and environmental pollution in many countries. Energy consumption of buildings in Korea has reached 24% of total energy consumption, and energy consumption of apartment has been continuously increasing. Therefore, Korea government has executed building energy efficiency rating certification system to control energy consumption of buildings. Method: This study was conducted to evaluate the energy performance of apartment unit plans according to the increasement of front width of unit plans, and tried to present the basic data to design more energy conscious unit plans for apartments. For the study, three shapes of unit plans -the 2Bay, 3Bay and 4bay unit- were selected for imput models. They were simulated using ECO2 software to assess building energy efficiency rating certification in Korea. Result: According to the results, in cases that balcony windows were not installed, the primary energy consumption of the 3Bay and 4Bay units were less than 2Bay unit, respectively, 0.1% and 2,5%. The primary energy consumption of the 3Bay and 4Bay units, in cases that balcony windows were installed, was less than 2Bay unit, respectively, 1.7% and 3.2%.

외기에 면한 초고층 아파트 발코니 천정 내부결로 예측 (Forecast on Internal Condensation at Balcony Ceiling of Super-high Apartment Building Faced with Open Air)

  • 최근 들어 주거공간의 기능만족과 효율성 확보를 위해 외기측에 면한 발코니 부위를 확장하는 사례가 늘어나고 있으며 특히, 최상층에 위치한 확장형 주거공간의 경우 외벽에 설치된 AL Curtain wall상부 외벽복합 Panel 이 완전 기밀하지 않음으로 인해 천정 상부측으로 낮은 외기온의 이동에 의한 실온과의 온도차에 의해 내부결로의 발생 가능성을 전혀 배제할 수는 없는 상황이다. 본 연구는 외기에 면한 초고층 아파트 최상층부의 발코니 천장내부에 있는 H-Beam(내화피복+단열재 구성)파 Parapet부위 내부결로 발생가능성에 대한 예측을 해 봄으로써 해당 공간거주자의 쾌적한 환경 만족 및 불안을 해소하는데 그 목적이 있다. 외주부를 구성하고 있는 Curtain wall Stone panel 또는 슬래브 바닥하부 등의 열적 취약공간에 대해 2차원 정상상태(온도평형) 열전도해석 Program을 이용, 온도예측과 온도분포해석을 통해 해당부위의 수증기압 분포에 따른 내부결로 예측을 실시하였다.

  • Korean Apartment Housing, which has been built up for short-time, represents as popular housing reflecting our unique cultural background, and recently the utility room in apartment housing has been changed to accept residents' needs, focusing on their improving life styles. At this point, the purpose of this study Is to analyze the characteristics of the utility room between 1995 and 2005 in order to grasp the current change of the utility space in Korean Apartment Housing. For this, this research investigated 176 samples, collected in 'Apartment Encyclopedia(2004)'. The major results of this study are as follows : 1) As the utility room gets bigger, the size and the ratio to the whole unit area are increased, however the ratio in small area is bigger than the ratio in other area. 2) According to time, the utility room tends to increase the size and the ratio to the whole unit area, and the Increasing tendency appears distinctively after 2002. 3) The utility room used to be located with rear balcony area, however, now it appears to be planned Independently with its unique function. 4) Currently, Second-Kitchen start to plan in the apartment housing.

민영아파트 평면계획특성에 관한 연구 -서울, 수도권 및 신도시지역을 중심으로- (A Study on Characteristics of Apartment Housing Unit Plans)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze characteristics of apartment housing unit plans based on analyzing overall patterns of housing unit plans and identifying the types of unit plans according to the size and to provide the fundamental data for developing diverse dwelling unit plans of apartment. This study deals with apartment housing unit plans built between 1999 and 2000 in Seoul, the capital region and new town. The major findings of this study are as follows; 1) Most apartment housing unit plans have fixed and uniform layouts. Most apartment housing units have L-DK type meaning they have isolated living room space. Certain layouts(especially $60-85\textrm{m}^2$ sized unit plans) show a "trickle-down" phenomenon with respect to the areas of units according to time series. 2) New plan types are rarely proposed since 2000, especially in large-sized(area more than $120\textrm{m}^2$) and $60-85\textrm{m}^2$ sized plans. 3) Another feature of apartment housing unit plans is increase of the service are (balcony, entrance area, additional kitchen, and storage area), and introduction of masters space (composition of master bedroom, dressing room, powder room, path, and etc.) and etc.)

2000년대 한국 아파트 단위세대의 공간구성 동향 변화 (Trend Changes of Spatial Configuration in Housing Units of Korean Apartments in the 2000s)

  • This study aims at finding the trend changes of spatial configuration in housing units of Korean apartments in the 2000s. Among the housing units in the apartments built by large construction companies, we have selected ones with small and regular sizes, $59m^2$ and $84m^2$ respectively, and investigated the number of bays, the location of wet zone and the spatial flexibility in the housing units selected for analysis. In conclusion, the number of bays in the housing unit has gradually increased, after allowing for the structural change of the balcony in the legal. It is estimated that the trend has came from the intent to increase the numbers of the externally exposed surfaces of the balcony, ensure a good view, lighting, ventilation and spatial flexibility. The location of wet zone, water-needed space such as a bathroom or a kitchen, has changed in the direction to facilitate the expansion and modification of space. Variable range of space has gradually expanded by using the balcony and wet zone as much as possible. In order to configure more effectively spaces in housing environments, the future study should be implemented to develop tools for realizing sustainable housing environment at the levels of not only the housing unit. but also the entire building, housing site, and city.

BIPV의 아파트 건물 적용 가능성에 대한 연구 (A study on the application of BIPV to the Apartment Building)

  • Regarding to the Domestic housing politics to improve residing environment and effective use of country land, apartment buildings have been constructed since early of 1970s. Now apartment is taking over 50% out of entire housing in Korea. In the view point of PV application to the apartment, PV has amny advantages because of the wideness of out-walls and high floors building in APT. Therefore, if APT could use the electricity produced by BIPV, we can solve more easily environment and energy problems caused by housing. The research conclusion by analysing conditions and application method to introduce BIPV application to APT in near future is as below. -The out look of APT has been developed periodically and recently gable roof or canopy is popular which PV installation is more favorable. -For Balcony part with double skin facade sassy window, It has a preferable condition to install on the wall depending on the window direction. -In case of shorter distance between buildings due to high ratio of outside measurement, it is more desirable to install PV on the roof than on the wall of Apartment by considering low solar altitude. -Also depending on the direction of APT building, it is more effective and productive in electricity in the broad surface of side wall of APT. -In case of superhigh floor APT where facade system is mostly double skin facade of curtain wall system, PV module can replace the traditional curtain wall and will reduce architectural materials and obtain various out look design thereof.
