  • 선박의 충돌회피 방법을 제시하는 관점에 있어, 두 선박의 조우각도에 따른 속력이 충분히 고려되어야 할 것이다. 하지만 선박의 충돌회피를 위해 새롭게 연구된 근접상황 선박충돌회피지원 모델의 Safe-Guard Ring 설정은 본선과 상대선박의 속력비가 약 1.7 이하로 제한되어 있으므로 제한된 범위 이외의 경우에서 충돌 위험이 존재 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 두 선박이 조우하는 각도 및 속력을 고려한 Safe-Guard Ring 설정을 연구함으로써 안전한 충돌회피 조종을 위한 선박충돌회피모델을 제시하고자 한다.

  • This paper aims at investigating the effect of steel ratio and the magnitude of edge-ratio on the mechanical characteristics of reinforced concrete ring sector plate. The influence of steel bars was taken into account by coupling stiffness matrix of the steel bar element with that of the concrete plate element without dealing with separate element of steel bar and by establishing the composite stiffness matrix, which leads to the desirable result which does not increase th number of element could be obtained. Through case studies with 6 cases various steel ratios in ring sector plate supported at four edges and 4 cases with different open angles, the influence of the steel ratio was examined. A numerical analysis to find out the effect of the steel ratio d ue to above mentioned cases was carried out by 4 boundary conditions ; all edges clamped (B.C-1), all edges simply supported (B.C-2), curvilinear two edges clamped and other edges free (B.C-3) and curvilinear two edges simply supported and other edges free(B.C-4). The main results obtained are summarized as follows : 1. The effect of steel ratio on the magnitude of lateral deflection and x-directional bending moment at the center of sector plate and the midpoint of outer and inner curvilinear edges is almost the same up to $30^{\circ}$ of open angle. Beyond $30^{\circ}$ of the angle, the larger the angle, the greater the effect of ratio. 2. In design works using balanced steel ratio, the effect of steel bar can be ignored. But for larger open angles, especially greater than $90^{\circ}$, it proves desirable to consider the effect of steel bar. 3. The effect of the arc length of center circle/straight edge on lateral deflection and bending moment is remarkable in B.C-2. For larger open angle, the effect is also noted except for B.C-3 which turn out hardly affected. 4. The effect of the radius of curvature/straight side length on lateral deflection and x-directional bending moment is noted in B.C-2. As open angle increases, B.C-1 and B.C-3 almost agree and B.C-2 approaches B.C-4.

플로팅 링 실의 누설 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Leakage Performance Characteristics of Floating Ring Seal)

  • The floating ring seal is used in an oxidizer and a fuel pump of the turbo pump unit in the liquid rocket engine to optimize a leakage without rubbing phenomenon. The damper floating ring seal, one of the floating ring seals, is with round hole pattern surfaces. It can reduce the leakage by increased friction factor that obtained from experimental data. In this paper, the leakage test about floating ring seal and damper floating ring seal was conducted. The test result showed the leakage performance of damper floating ring seal was better than the leakage performance of floating ring seal. With the leakage test the lock-up and rotation test about seal was conducted and that position is measured. The relatively large lock-up eccentric ratio was obtained from the test result of damping floating ring seal. The attitude angle of seal increases with increasing of shaft rotation.

리듬체조 Ring jump동작의 운동학적 분석 (Analysis of Kinematic on Ring jump in the Rhythmic Sport Gymnastics)

  • 본 연구는 리듬체조를 구성하는 기술 중에서 신체 기본요소군의 Jump에 포함되는 C난도 Ring jump의 3차원 동작분석을 통해 분석하여 선수들의 기술향상과 지도에 필요한 정량적 자료를 제공하는데 목적을 두었다. 이벤트별 소요시간에서는 E-3에서 0.409${\pm}$0.017sec로 가장 긴 소요시간을 보였다. 신체중심의 변위에서는 E-3에서 88.5${\pm}$1.3%로 가장 높은 높이를 보였다. 좌 우 발끝 속도에서는 E-2에서 각각 732.4${\pm}$46.1cm/sec, 1958.4${\pm}$25.1cm/sec로 가장 빠르게 나타났다. 상체후경각에서는 E-3에서 97.8degree로 가장 낮은 각도를 보였다. 슬관절 각변위에서는 E-3에서 좌 우 각각 92.8${\pm}$14.9degree, 69.2${\pm}$5.7degree로 가장 낮은 각도를 보였다. 족관절 각변위에서는 E-3에서 좌 우 각각 171.3${\pm}$6.9degree, 167.9${\pm}$8.4degree로 가장 큰 각도를 보였다. 이런 결과로 볼 때, Ring jump동작을 수행하기 위해서는 족관절의 신전을 통한 높은 점프로 상체를 후경할 수 있는 유연성과 체공을 시간을 갖추는 것이라고 사료된다.

오일이송을 고려한 피스톤 링의 윤활 해석 (Analysis for Lubrication of the Piston Ring Considering Oil Transport)

  • This paper considers analysis of the lubrication between the piston ring and the cylinder liner. Piston ring lubrication analysis considering oil transport is important because oil consumption is an essential factor to design the piston assembly. To develop the lubrication analysis program for the piston ring, oil continuity condition and open-end boundary assumption are used for computational boundaries. Results show that oil continuity can be almost satisfied at any crank angle in and out of the piston ring clearance. Therefore the amount of oil consumption and the dynamic behavior of ring pack can be estimated using this algorithm. And it can be known that the effective width may be smaller than the full width of the piston ring, so oil starvation condition should be considered for the lubrication analysis of the piston ring.

The Crystal and Molecular Structure of Sulfapyridine

  • The crystal structure of sulfapyridine, $C_{11}H_{11}N_{3}O_{2}S$, has been determined by X-ray diffraction method. The compound crystallizees in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 12, 80(4), b= 11.72(4), $c= 15.36(5){\AA}, {\beta}= 94(3)^{\circ}$and Z = 8. A total of 1133 observed reflections were collected by the Weissenberg method with CuKaradiation. Structure was solved by the heavy atom method and refined by isostropic block-diagonal least-squares method to the R value of 0.14. The nitrogen in the pyridine ring of sulfapyridine is associated with an extra-annular hydrogen. The C (benzene ring) S-N-C (pyridine ring) group adopts the gauche form with a fonformational angle of $71^{\circ}$. The benzene ring are inclined at angle of $84^{\circ}.to the pyridine ring plane. Sulfapyridine shows three different hydrogen bonding in the crystal. They are two N-H...O hydrogen bonds with the distance of 2.90 and 2.98${\AA}$ respectively, and on N-H...N with the distance of 3.06 ${\AA}$.

Biometric analysis hand parameters in young adults for prosthetic hand and ergonomic product applications

  • This study aimed to evaluate the superficial anatomy, kinesiology, and functions of the hand to reveal its morphometry and apply the findings in various fields such as prosthetic hand and protective hand support product design. We examined 51 young adults (32 females, 19 males) aged between 18-30. Hand photographs were taken, and measurements were conducted using ImageJ software. Pearson correlation analysis was performed to determine the relationship between personal information and the parameters. The results of the measurements showed the average lengths of finger segments: thumb (49.5±5.5 mm), index finger (63.9±4.1 mm), middle finger (70.7±5.2 mm), ring finger (65.5±4.8 mm), and little finger (53.3±4.3 mm). Both females and males, the left index finger was measured longer than the right index finger. The right ring finger was found to be longer than the left in both sexes. Additionally, length differences between fingers in extended and maximally adducted positions were determined: thumb-index finger (56.1±6.2 mm), index-middle finger (10.7±4.1 mm), middle-ring finger (10.8±1.4 mm), and ring-little finger (25.6±2.7 mm). Other findings included the average radial natural angle (56.4°±10.5°), ulnar natural angle (23.4°±7.1°), radial deviation angle (65.2°±8.2°), ulnar deviation angle (51.2°±9.6°), and grasping/gripping angle (49.1°±5.8°). The average angles between fingers in maximum abduction positions were also measured: thumb-index finger (53.4°±6.5°), index-middle finger (17.2°±2.6°), middle-ring finger (14.3°±2.3°), and ring-little finger (32.1°±7.0°). The study examined the variability in the positioning of proximal interphalangeal joints during maximum metacarpophalangeal and proximal interphalangeal flexion, coinciding with maximum distal interphalangeal extension movements. The focal points of our observations were the asymmetrical and symmetrical arches formed by these joints. This study provides valuable hand parameters in young adults, which can be utilized in various applications such as prosthetic design, ergonomic product development, and hand-related research. The results highlight the significance of considering individual factors when assessing hand morphology and function.

Displacements of the flexible ring for an electromechanical integrated harmonic piezodrive system

  • In this paper, an electromechanical integrated harmonic piezodrive system is proposed. The operating principle of the drive system is introduced. The equation of the relationship between the displacements of the flexible ring and the rotating angle of the rotor is deduced. Using the equation, the displacements of the flexible ring for the drive system and their changes along with the system parameters are investigated. The results show that the displacements of the flexible ring changes periodically along with the rotation of the vibrator; there are abrupt changes in the displacements of the flexible ring at some points where there are abrupt changes in the number of the mesh teeth pair; the length of the flexible ring, the excitation voltage, and the speed ratio have obvious effects on the displacements of the flexible ring. The results are useful for the design of the drive system. ;
