This study is suggested tilt window type to be restrained solar radiation through vertical window type in buildings. The shading and aesthetical effect of buildings would be solved by installation of tilt window type. For investigate optimum an angle of tilt window and building azimuth in reference region, the distance of transmitted solar radiation is calculated. The results of calculation showed optimum an angle of tilt window is obtained $7^{\circ}$ that the distance of transmitted solar radiation is 20% of 1.5m of balcony width. In case of an tilt window angle of $7^{\circ}$, the optimum building azimuth is showed $SW15^{\circ}{\sim}SE15$.
The purposes of this study were to compare pelvic tilt before and after manipulation of sacroiliac joint in 31 low back pain patients (11 males, 20 females) with sacroiliac joint dysfunction. The sacroiliac joint of patients was manipulated on the side of anterior pelvic tilt, using the technique described by Stoddard (1962) and Greenmann (1996). I used this technique because it usually eliminated sacroiliac joint dysfunction in one treatment session. SPSS for window computer system was used to analyze the data. Also t-test was performed for comparison of pelvic tilt angle before and after manipulation, and Pearson product-moment correlation analysis was performed for intratester reliability for measurements of pelvic tilt angle before and after manipulation. The result were as follows: 1. Intratester reliability was good for measures of pelvic tilt (r=.98). 2. The pelvic tilt after manipulation was significantly decreased (mean=$3.40^{\circ}$) compared with the pelvic tilt before manipulation (p=.001). All subjects showed asymmetrical right versus left pelvic tilt before manipulation. 40% of subjects showed decreased asymmetrical right versus left pelvic tilt after manipulation, and 60% of subjects showed symmetrical right versus left pelvic tilt after manipulation. I think that pelvic tilt asymmetry with hypomobility due to loss of joint play could be symmetrized by manipulation or mobilization, but pelvic tilt asymmetry with unilateral pelvic muscle shortening could not be symmetrized by manipulation or mobilization without relaxation and stretching of shortened muscles.

The performance of GaInP/GaAs tandem solar cells with AlInP growth temperatures of 680$^{\circ}C$ and 700 $^{\circ}C$ on n-type GaAs (100) substrate with 2$^{\circ}$ and 6$^{\circ}$ tilt angles has been investigated. The series resistance and open circuit voltage of the fabricated tandem solar cells are affected by the substrate tilt angles and the growth temperatures of the window layer when zinc is doped in the tunnel diode. With carbon doping as a p-type doping source in the tunnel diode and the effort of current matching between top and bottom cells, GaInP/GaAs tandem solar cell has been exhibited 25.58% efficiency.

In this paper, a new stereo object extraction algorithm using a block-based MSE (mean square error) algorithm and the configuration parameters of a stereo camera is proposed. That is, by applying the SSD algorithm between the initial reference image and the next stereo input image, location coordinates of a target object in the right and left images are acquired and then with these values, the pan/tilt system is controlled. And using the moving angle of this pan/tilt system and the configulation parameters of the stereo camera system, the mask window size of a target object is adaptively determined. The newly segmented target image is used as a reference image in the next stage and it is automatically updated in the course of target tracking basing on the same procedure. Meanwhile, a target object is under tracking through continuously controlling the convergence and FOV by using the sequentiall extracted location coordinates of a moving target.

In this paper, we propose a technique of multi-time window feature extraction for anger detection in gait data. In the previous gait-based emotion recognition methods, the pedestrian's stride, time taken for one stride, walking speed, and forward tilt angles of the neck and thorax are calculated. Then, minimum, mean, and maximum values are calculated for the entire interval to use them as features. However, each feature does not always change uniformly over the entire interval but sometimes changes locally. Therefore, we propose a multi-time window feature extraction technique that can extract both global and local features, from long-term to short-term. In addition, we also propose an ensemble model that consists of multiple classifiers. Each classifier is trained with features extracted from different multi-time windows. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed feature extraction technique and ensemble model, a public three-dimensional gait dataset was used. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed ensemble model achieves the best performance compared to machine learning models trained with existing feature extraction techniques for four performance evaluation metrics.
As sustainable design technologies, advanced daylighting systems with lightshelves have been developed and are currently under monitoring the daylighting performance. This study aims to evaluate the comparative daylighting performance of sloped lightshelf and conventional glazing window with mock-up model, reconstructed as a prototype of Korean office building, sized $12.0m{\times}7.3m{\times}3.7m$ ($w{\times}d{\times}h$) and $1.8m{\times}4.8m$($w{\times}h$) for the south facing side-window was installed on the rooftop of engineering building, Kyung Hee University in Korea. It has an identical configuration of reference room and the test room. For the test room, the sloped type lightshelf system was designed as 10mm transparency sheet glass, tilt angle degree $29^{\circ}$, and total sized 1.28m (interior length 0.88m, exterior length 0.49m). It consisted of daylighting collector, entrance glazing and reflector. To assess daylighting performance, the totally 37 measuring points for illuminance and 2 view points of luminance were monitored in every 30 minutes from 12:00 to 15:00. For the detailed analysis, photometric sensors of each room were installed at work-plane (8 points), wall (7 points), ceiling (3points), and exterior horizontal illuminance (1 point). Luminance of window, rare of the room was measured under clear sky. It is to be monitored by Agilent data logger, photometric sensor Li-cor and the Radiant Imaging ProMetric 1400. Comparisons with a light factor, increase-decrease ratio, uniformity, and luminance are discussed.

Many edge detection methods, based on horizontal and vertical derivatives, have been introduced to provide us with intuitive information about the horizontal distribution of a subsurface anomalous body. Understanding the characteristics of each edge detection method is important for selecting an optimized method. In order to compare the characteristics of the individual methods, this study applied each method to synthetic magnetic data created using homogeneous prisms with different sizes, the numbers of bodies, and spacings between them. Seven edge detection methods were comprehensively and quantitatively analyzed: the total horizontal derivative (HD), the vertical derivative (VD), the 3D analytic signal (AS), the title derivative (TD), the theta map (TM), the horizontal derivative of tilt angle (HTD), and the normalized total horizontal derivative (NHD). HD and VD showed average good performance for a single-body model, but failed to detect multiple bodies. AS traced the edge for a single-body model comparatively well, but it was unable to detect an angulated corner and multiple bodies at the same time. TD and TM performed well in delineating the edges of shallower and larger bodies, but they showed relatively poor performance for deeper and smaller bodies. In contrast, they had a significant advantage in detecting the edges of multiple bodies. HTD showed poor performance in tracing close bodies since it was sensitive to an interference effect. NHD showed great performance under an appropriate window.
