노인에서 임상적 균형평가 지수들의 유용성 : 힘판을 이용한 균형평가와의 상관관계 (The Usefulness of Clinical Balance Tests in Elderly : Correlation of Balance Evaluation using by Forceplate)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate the usefulness of clinical balance tests through the correlation of balance evaluation using by forceplate in elderly. Methods : Thirty nine healthy elderly subjects (14 males, 25 females) participated in the study. The subjects were evaluated with clinical balance tests [(Berg balance scale (BBS), Functional reach test (FRT), Tinetti's performance oriented mobility assessment (POMA), and one leg standing (OLS)]. Static balance evaluation was assessed by using forceplate. Center of pressure (COP) parameters were obtained using it as total path distance, total sway area, X mean frequency and Y mean frequency for 20 seconds in the following conditions: (1) comfortable standing with eyes opened and closed, (2) uncomfortable standing with eyes opened and closed. After static balance evaluation tested, dynamic balance evaluation was assessed. COP parameters were error distance and area during sine curve trace. COP parameters were movement time, error distance, and maintained time in the circle during COP movement task. Results : Clinical balance tests showed statistically significant correlation between static and dynamic balance evaluations. Among the clinical balance tests, the BBS, POMA, and OLS showed significant correlation with to assess the balance ability of elderly in clinical setting both evaluations. Conclusion : Clinical balance tests can be recommended in clinical setting because of low costs and simplicity.

지방도시 거주 노인들의 재활서비스에 대한 요구 조사 - 안동시 거주 노인들을 중심으로 - (A Survey of the Rehabilitation Services Needs of the Elderly in Rural Area)

  • This study was carried out to find out general characteristics and health-related be haviors of elders aged 60 or over and factors related to their activities of daily living, and thus to contribute to their health maintenance and promotion. The subjects were 200 elders who had resided at An-Dong city and participated in this study. To collect data, the field survey was conducted from December 13 to 23, 1996 with structured questionnaires by 6 trained student interviewers. Chi-square test, t-test and Pearson's correlation were used for data analysis by use of SPSS/$PC^+$ program. The major findings were as follows; 1) In the individual characteristics of the respondents, the average age were 73.6 years old. 21.5% of the subjects were 60-69 years old, while 27.5% were 70-74 years old, 25.0% were 75-79 years old, 26.0% were 80 years old or over. 2) For the degree of the subject's perceptive health condition, the aver age 3.39 point and standard deviation 1.09. The perceptive health condition of the subjects was in the mid point range of health condition. 3) 46.6% of men and 25.8% of women practiced exercise regularly for their health maintenance and promotion. 4) For the degree of the subject's perceptive health condition, the difference by sex was not statistically significant. 5) 51.8% of men and 60.2% of women has idea for interventions to health promotion program by rehabilitation services.

초음파 속도를 이용한 암석의 일축압축강도 평가 (Evaluation of Rock Uniaxial Compressive Strength Using Ultrasonic Velocity)

  • 표준화된 일축압축강도시험에 의해 구한 암석의 일축압축강도를 간편법에 의해 평가할 수 있는 관계를 구하기 위하여 18개의 안동 흑운모화강암과 27개의 여수 부근의 화성암(섬록암, 화강암, 안산암, 유문암) 암석이 실험에 이용되었다. 각 시험 결과의 타당성은 변동계수를 구하여 평가하였다. 그 결과 일축압축강도와 점하중시험, 슈미트해머시험 및 초음파속도시험 값들 사이에 압축강도를 평가할 수 있는 관계식을 구하였다. 각각 다른 방법으로 구한 예측된 압축강도 관계식은 신뢰할 수 있는 범위에 있었으며, 초음파 속도시험은 암석의 일축압축강도를 추정에 신뢰성 있는 관계식을 제공하고 있다.

Ti-3Al-2.5V 튜브의 초소성 하이드로포밍과 확산접합으로 제조된 T형 구조물의 접합 특성 분석 (Analysis of Bonding Characteristics of a T-shape Structure Fabricated by Superplastic Hydroforming and Diffusion Bonding using two Ti-3Al-2.5V tubes)

  • A T-shape structure was manufactured by the superplastic forming and diffusion bonding process using two Ti-3Al-2.5V alloy tubes. A Ti-3Al-2.5V tube was prepared for the hydroforming in the superplastic condition until it reaches a surface area such as a roof welded in the hole of another Ti-3Al-2.5V tube. Afterward, the superplastic forming process and the diffusion bonding process were carried out simultaneously until the appropriate bonding along the interface area of two Ti-3Al-2.5V tubes was obtained. The bonding qualities were different at each location of the entire interface according to the applied process conditions such as strain, pressure, temperature, holding time, geometries, etc. The microstructures of bonding interface have been observed to understand the characteristics of the applied processes in this study.

  • Diagnostic tests in medical fields detect or diagnose a disease with results measured by continuous or discrete ordinal data. The performance of a diagnostic test is summarized using the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve and the area under the curve (AUC). The diagnostic test is considered clinically useful if the outcomes in actually-positive cases are higher than actually-negative cases and the ROC curve is concave. In this study, we apply the stochastic ordering method in a Bayesian hierarchical model to estimate the proper ROC curve and AUC when the diagnostic test results are measured in discrete ordinal data. We compare the conventional binormal model and binormal model under stochastic ordering. The simulation results and real data analysis for breast cancer indicate that the binormal model under stochastic ordering can be used to estimate the proper ROC curve with a small bias even though the sample sizes were small or the sample size of actually-negative cases varied from actually-positive cases. Therefore, it is appropriate to consider the binormal model under stochastic ordering in the presence of large differences for a sample size between actually-negative and actually-positive groups.

지진 및 강우로 인한 산사태 발생 위험지 예측 모델 비교 (Comparison of Prediction Models for Identification of Areas at Risk of Landslides due to Earthquake and Rainfall)

  • 본 연구에서는 현장조사, 실내시험 및 문헌자료를 기초로 지진 시 산사태 발생 위험지 예측 모델인 Newmark displacement model을 이용하여 위험지를 예측하였다. Newmark displacement model은 주로 지진의 정보와 해당 지역의 사면의 정보를 통해 산정되며, 사면의 안전율은 산지 토사재해 예측 프로그램인 LSMAP의 결과를 활용하였다. 연구대상 지역으로 과거 산사태가 발생한 부산의 백양산 일대를 선정하였다. 산사태 발생 해석 결과 Newmark displacement model을 활용한 지진 시 산사태 위험지 예측이 지진 계수가 미적용된 LSMAP의 산사태 위험지 예측보다 약 1.15배 넓은 지역을 위험지역으로 예측하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The selective area growth light emitting diode on GaN substrate was grown using mixed-source HVPE method with multi-sliding boat system. The GaN substrate was grown using mixed-source HVPE system. Te-doped AlGaN/AlGaN/Mg-doped AlGaN/Mg-doped GaN multi-layers were grown on the GaN substrate. The appearance of epi-layers and the thickness of the DH was evaluated by SEM measurement. The DH metallization was performed by e-beam evaporator. n-type metal and p-type metal were evaporated Ti/Al and Ni/Au, respectively. At the I-V measurement, the turn-on voltage is 3 V and the differential resistance is 13 Ω. It was found that the SAG-LED grown on GaN substrate using mixed-source HVPE method with multi-sliding boat system could be applied for developing high quality LEDs.

다짐 풍화잔적토의 거동특성 연구 (Behavioral Characteristics of Decomposed Residual Solis)

  • 삼축압축시험의 결과를 이용해 2차광물성분을 많이 포함하고 있는 모앙이 편마암인 풍화잔적토의 압축 및 강도특성을 분석하여, 모암 및 광물성분비가 다른 기존의 연구결과와 비교하여 풍화잔적토의 모암과 광물성부네 따른 강도정수의 차이 및 거동특성을 파악하기 위한 근간을 제시하고자 본 연구를 수행하였으며, 치를 위하여 CIV, CID, CKoU, CKoD 등의 삼축압축시험을 실시하였다. 기원 및 광물성분이 다른 풍화잔적토라도 정규압축곡선(NCL)의 기울기는 유사한 양상을 보이며, 압축시 입자파쇄효과로 인하여 약 85%의 소성변형량을 나타냈다. 전단시 또이동 시료는 김천 및 안동 시료와는 다르게 응력연화현상을 나타내 기원 및 구성광물에 따라 다른 거동을 보여줌을 알 수 있었다. 펀단저항각은 시료가 석영과 장석성분 등의 1차 광물과 2차광물의 구성성 분에 따라 달라짐을 알 수 있었으며, 반면에 간극수압계수는 기원 및 광물성분을 막론하고 1 이상의 큰 값을 나타냈다.

  • 용화광산의 광미와 침출수에 대한 분석을 실시하여 광미로부터 부과될 수 있는 성분을 예측하고, 침출수가 주변하천으로 유입될 때 오염물질의 거리에 따른 변화를 측정하였다. 하천수의 거리에 따른 변화는 갱내수와 침출수가 유출되는 지점에는 대체로 높게 나타나고 하류로 갈수록 이온의 농도는 급격히 낮아진다. 이는 침출수에 비해 훨씬 유량이 많은 비오염하천수에 의한 희석효과 때문이다. 광미는 붉은색과 노란색으로 구분되며 붉은색 광미의 주 구성광물은 석영, 일라이트, 플럼보자로사이트와 약간의 섬아연석이며 노란색 광미는 백운모, 석영, 플럼보자로사이트(Plumbojarosite) 그리고 소량의 황동석(Chalcopyrite)과 섬아연석(Sphalerite)을 포함하고 있다. 침출수에서 높은 값을 나타내는 Pb, Zn 등은 광미에 포함된 플럼보자로사이트와 섬아연석의 용해작용에 의한 것으로 하천수의 오염에 주 원인으로 작용하고 있다.

Effects of Induction Heat Bending Process on Microstructure and Corrosion Properties of ASME SA312 Gr.TP304 Stainless Steel Pipes

  • The usage of bending products recently have increased since many industries such as automobile, aerospace, shipbuilding, and chemical plants need the application of pipings. Bending process is one of the inevitable steps to fabricate the facilities. Induction heat bending is composed of compressive bending process by local heating and cooling. This work focused on the effect of induction heat bending process on the properties of ASME SA312 Gr. TP304 stainless steel pipes. Tests were performed for base metal and bended area including extrados, intrados, crown up, and down parts. Microstructure was analyzed using an optical microscope and SEM. In order to determine intergranular corrosion resistance, Double Loop Electrochemical Potentiokinetic Reactivation (DL-EPR) test and ASTM A262 practice A and C tests were done. Every specimen revealed non-metallic inclusion free under the criteria of 1.5i of the standard and the induction heat bending process did not affect the non-metallic inclusion in the alloys. Also, all the bended specimens had finer grain size than ASTM grain size number 5 corresponding to the grain sizes of the base metal and thus the grain size of the pipe bended by induction heat bending process is acceptable. Hardness of transition start, bend, and transition end areas of ASME SA312 TP304 stainless steel was a little higher than that of base metal. Intergranular corrosion behavior was determined by ASTM A262 practice A and C and DL-EPR test, and respectively step structure, corrosion rate under 0.3 mm/y, and Degree of Sensitization (DOS) of 0.001~0.075% were obtained. That is, the induction heat bending process didn't affect the intergranular corrosion behavior of ASME SA312 TP304 stainless steel.
