Two properties of ancillary statistics are considered. One is to find a role of ancillary statistics in the statistical inference by showing that the ancillary statistic can recover the lost information and to give a criteria for comparing the conditional inference with unconditional inference. The other is to find an ancillary statistic of translation model and its relationship with observed Fisher information.

In the case of office buildings, domestic and Chinese evacuation laws were compared regarding the evacuation of horizontal and vertical buildings and evacuation to refuge safety areas. A simulation was conducted based on a refuge safety area in China. In the case of evacuating 1 floor, there was no significant difference in the flow of occupants to an ancillary room area in a domestic or Chinese building, but in China, the corridor width was narrower and the occupants have saw a long. In the case of evacuating 15 floors, the flow of occupants to an ancillary room area was different. In the case of China, it was possible for occupants to enter the ancillary room more quickly because the ancillary room area was wider than those found in domestic buildings, allowing quickly passage the ancillary room door. The results of this study found that if corridor width and ancillary room area were wider, evacuation times could be reduced.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the convenience and image quality of patients with acute lumbar pain patients at a general hospital in Daejeon using ancillary devices for postural changes and correction. The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, the Turbo S pin Echo technique(TS E) using ancillary equipment has the highest image evaluation rating with an average score of 4.440, which is highly valuable on a diagnosis. Second, the average score for patient the questionnaire 'When using ancillary equipment, I feel that my body is calibrated to side without bias.' was shown as 4.440, which is very useful for the correction of the patient's body when using ancillary equipment. Finally, Breath Hold technique(BH) is very effective in shortening test time of acute lumbar pain patients, because it can reduce test time 86.4% faster than Turbo Spin Echo technique(TSE). The results of the study showed that the use of ancillary equipment to perform the test through the side lying postures helped to reduce the pain and control the patient's breathing, and the diagnostic value of the image was high.

Output data streams of the MSC contain flags, Headers and image data according to the established protocols and data formats. Especially the Header added to each data lines contain information of a line sync, a line counter and, ancillary data which consist of ancillary identification bit and one ancillary data byte. This information is used by ground station to calculate the geographic coordinates of the image and get the on-board time and several EOS(Electro-Optical Subsystem) parameters used at the time of imaging. Therefore, the EGSE(Electrical Ground Supporting Equipment) that is used for testing MSC has to have functions of interpreting and displaying this Header information correctly following the protocols. This paper describes the design of the header data processing module which is in EOS­EGSE. This module provides users with various test functions such as header validation, ancillary block validation, line-counter and In-line counter validation checks which allow convenient and fast test on imagery data.

There are some demand response program which is Direct Load Control and so on in Korea. These are used to manage lack of power stability or shift peak time for shading load. It is very important not only using stability power system but controling and scheduling power system on the whole. Interruptible loads are essential resources to solve lack of energy and limit of constructing generator On recently days, Demand Response Program's reliability is recognized as ancillary or reserve service in many country. This paper presents a necessity to apply demand resource to our ancillary program. For this reason, it is introduce overseas ancillary program using load resource.

For the power system to keep in a stable operating state, sufficient ancillary services must be available to respond to credible contingency events and return the power system to a satisfactory operating state in the case of contingencies as well as blackout events within specified predefined limits. The logical and reasonable bases of valuing and pricing the ancillary services are required to reach the common ground among market participants. The total amount of black start service transactions is quite small compared to the total ancillary service transactions as well as energy market transactions. Black start services must be provided as one of the ancillary services in the deregulated electricity market. In order to procure and remunerate black start services, it is necessary to quantify the value of the black start sources within the power system. In this paper, an approach to assess the value of the black start service is presented based on the cost-of-service solution. Financial simulation of the influence on market participants for the proposed approach on the service is carried out. The cost of the black start service is allocated in accordance with the principle of "causer pays", and the cost is shared by the producers and consumers equally that created the requirement for the service. Under the present electricity market, the mechanism to recover the cost is not implemented, a new approach to the ancillary services to provide incentive for the service providers has to be studied in the near future.

We prove (at least empirically) that some forms of the scaled residuals calculated from i.i.d. multivariate normal random vectors are ancillary. We further show that, if the scaled residuals are ancillary, then they have the same distribution whatever form of rotation is rosed to remove sample correlations.

Purpose: Ancillary tests such as immunohistochemistry or molecular testing for pathologic diagnosis are performed using ready-made tissue blocks for a histological examination. Various methods and processes during ancillary testing cause some of issues, particularly in the time required and the results reporting scheme. Methods: To solve these issues, we constructed real-time management software. When a pathologist or a clinician had ancillary tests examined using this software by selecting the codes of the needed ancillary tests on site and the system assigned the tests to each laboratory. Then, pathology technologists checked the referred tests and performed the examination. In clinical departments, serial number of each ancillary test can be matched the original pathologic ID. In the department of pathology, numbers of tissue blocks that needed additional tests could be indicated and detected using one-click detection system when a clinician referred the test. Results: Using this system resulted in simplifying the referral procedures from nine-steps to three-steps in each clinical department and from seven-steps to two-steps in department of pathology. Errors that happened on the paper-based request system were also reduced. Furthermore, the time required was saved by seven hours in pathologic laboratory on average. Mean durations from requesting to reporting of the ancillary test was reduced by three days for specimens of health promotion center. Conclusion: Construction of an effective information transfer system may be helpful for shortening the time required, reducing errors, and checking processing information of the tests in real time.

This study evaluated economic feasibility to find a method that can increase income of a rape farmer for biodiesel. Biodiesel is one of an important bioenergy that can be used to substitute diesel-fuel. A rape is useful not only for biodiesel, but also for a substitute of a barley. This study deals with the income and cost data of a rape farmer compare to that of a barley farmer. According to the result of economic evaluation from 2002 to 2006, the income of a rape farmer for biodiesel incurred a loss. However, this study showed that the income of a rape farmer would be approximately 80% of that of a barley farmer if a new variety of rape called 'SUNMANG' was growed. Also, biodiesel has various ancillary effects such as by-product, preservation of a scenery, reduction of $CO_2$, etc. If the income of a rape farmer had ancillary effects, it would exceed the income of a barley farmer. As a result, we need to support ancillary effects of a rape to encourage a rape farmer for biodiesel.
