The analytic hierarchy process is known as a useful tool for the group decision making methods. This tool has been area such as investment, R&D management, manufacturing, production and marketing. Typically, transportation problems have addressed by mathematical programming. In this paper, an optimal solution of transportation problem was determined by the analytic hierarchy process.

The purpose of this paper is to reorganize cost adjustment factors of software development projects in estimating software development cost, and derive adjustment coefficients of application types and language types by analytical hierarchy process. We constructed a decision-making hierarchy of various criteria which determine the complexity of application types and language types, and conducted a survey on the pairwise comparison among alternatives. Finally, the cost adjustment coefficients of application types and language types were derived by analytic hierarchy process. This paper is the first study in which the analytic hierarchy process was applied to the field of estimating cost adjustment factors of software development projects.

Decision analysis has becomes an important technique for decision making in the face of uncertainty. It is characterized by enumerating all the available courses of action, identifying the payoffs for all possible outcomes, and quantifying the subjective probabilities for the all possible random events. When the data are available, decision analysis becomes a powerful tool for determining an optimal course of action. In this paper, we use the analytic hierarchy process in weights calculating. For the purpose of making optimal decision, the data of three different smart phones models are used.

The Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) model developed by Saaty is a very useful decision-making model designed for selecting and evaluating project alternatives through $\ulcorner$pairwise comparison$\lrcorner$ in the context of hierarchical structure. In this paper, we construct a modified AHP model named Analytic Dicho-Hierarchy Process (ADHP) model necessary for evaluating technology alternatives.

Over the last several decades, the topic of the source selection and evaluation has gained a great attention in the information systems community as an effective tool to acquire information systems in an organization. The source selection and evaluation process is a multiple-criteria decision-making problem associated with several evaluation issues. In this case study, evaluation issues include management, technologies, logistics, and cost. This case study was conducted to compare a new source selection and evaluation process by using the analytic hierarchy process with the traditional approach. This study provides useful insight about how to apply the analytic hierarchy process technique to the traditional approach.

지속가능한 수자원 개발 및 관리를 위해서는 유역 내에서 진행되고 있는 수자원에 관련된 활동들이 지속가능한 개발의 개념에 부합하는지 여부를 판단해야 한다. 이를 위해서는 국가, 유역, 지자체 등의 수문, 수질, 사회, 경제, 환경적인 요인들을 고려한 다변수 평가 지수가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 유역의 수자원을 평가할 수 있는 지표들을 선정하고 이들 간의 중요도는 계층적 분석기법(Analytic Hierarchy Process, AHP)을 사용하여 산정하였으며 이들을 종합한 수자원 지속가능성 지수(WRSI, Water Resources Sustainability Index)를 개발하였다. WRSI는 경제적 효율성 세부지수, 사회적 공평성 세부지수, 환경 보전성 세부지수, 유지관리능력 세부지수로 구성하였다. 지표들과 세부지수들 간의 중요도는 전문가들에 대한 설문조사를 통하여 산정하였다. 개발된 WRSI 구성지표들의 표준화는 이들의 적정 확률분포를 선정한 후 누가확률을 사용하여 산정하는 방법을 개발하여 사용하였다.

User Requirements are analyzed and quantified by decision making models and system engineering methods to select alternative concepts which satisfy the various requirements. In this study, the design concepts for guided missile are derived using Quality Function Deployment(QFD) and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). The design alternatives that satisfy the user requirements are extracted by QFD and Morphological Matrix, then the best design concept are obtained using AHP and Pugh concept Selection.

The purpose of this study is to set a standard for sale prices of supplying apartment houses about decision factors in sale price of supplying apartment houses using Analytic Hierarchy Process. This is done by modeling decision factors in sale price of supplying apartment houses as hierarchy. According to the modeled hierarchy, the relative importance of supplying factors are determined using a survey of a group of real estate experts. In addition, through Analytic Hierarchy Process, the relative importance of phased sale prices of supplying apartment is analyzed in order to set a standard to estimate competitive sale prices of newly supplying apartment houses.

Organizational culture has been recognized as a determinant of corporate Effectiveness. Cultural components could affect corporate Effectiveness to different extents. However, it seems that none of the previous studies have evaluated and compared these influential extents of cultural components. The current research applies analytic hierarchy processes to assess and rate the significance extents that, cultural components play in resulting in corporate Effectiveness. Then, the current work utilizes regression analyses to re-evaluate the significance extents for the robustness of analytic hierarchy processes. The findings indicate that clan culture is the most vital component in explaining corporate Effectiveness. In contrast, adhocracy culture is the least important component in affecting corporate Effectiveness. Market culture is a cultural component that is ranked the second in determining corporate Effectiveness, and next is hierarchy culture which is the third. The findings are in support of the positive influences of clan, market, and adhocracy cultures on corporate Effectiveness; whereas it found the negative impact of hierarchy culture on corporate Effectiveness.

This paper proposes the selection model of the telecommunication company using an analytical hierarchy process. When selecting a telecommunication company, consumers conflict the difficulty In decision-making because there are many competitive and complementary factors of telecommunication companies. To select an optimal telecommunication company, consumers need to consider a number of different quantitative and qualitative factors such as fare, various services, additional function and so on. In this study, we use the analytic hierarchy process based method for selecting the telecommunication company considering various factors to help consumers' decision-making for their benefits.
