  • In view of the results to have measured metallic elements which is included in 45 sorts of herb medicines and surveyed their distribution, 8 kinds ofmetals including Co, Ge, Ga, TL, Cd, As, 8i, Pb, are never or little includedin almost herb medicines . Other twenty-five sorts of elements (Mo, Sc, Be, V,Ni, Sn, Se, Ba, Cr, Sb, Si, Ti, B, Li, Mg, Ca, Cr, Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn, p, Al, Na,K) are more or Less included in all herb Bedicines ana Na, Ca, p and K aremetals that are included in Large quentities in comrarison with others . Patri-uiae Radix Contains 7 kinds of metal lic elements more than other herb medicinesdoes .

Structure Borne Noise Analysis of a Flexible Body in Multibody System (다물체계내 유연체의 구조기인 소음해석)

  • This paper presents the method for structure borne noise analysis of a flexible body in multibody system. The proposed method is the superposition method using flexible muitibody dynamic analysis and finite element one. This method is executed in 3 steps. In the la step, time dependent quantities such as dynamic loads, modal coordinates ana gross body motion of the flexible body are calculated efficiently through flexible multibody dynamic analysis. And frequency response functions are computed using Fourier transforms of those time dependent quantities. In the 2$\^$nd/ step, acoustic pressure coefficients are obtained through structure-acoustic coupling analysis by finite element analysis. In the final step, frequency responses of acoustic pressure at the acoustic nodes are recovered through linear superposition of frequency response functions with acoustic pressure coefficients. The accuracy of the proposed method is verified in the numerical example of a simple car model.

  • 많은 웹 브라우저들이 사용되고 있고 또 개발 중에 있다. W3C등의 인터넷 사이트에서는 Libwww를 비롯한 각종 패키지들의 소스를 공개하고 있어서 웹 브라우저를 포함한 인터넷 어플리케이션의 개발에 많은 도움이 되고 있다. 본 논문의 목적은 내장형(Embedded) 실시간 운영체제에서도 동작할 수 있는 단순화되고 가벼운 형태의 웹 브라우저를 설계하고 구현하는 것이다. 브라우저의 단순화를 위해 일단 웹 페이지의 텍스트만을 처리하는 브라우저를 설계하고 구현하였다. 브라우저 개발도구로서 Libwww를 사용하였다.

Chemical Modification of Transducin with Dansyl Chloride Hinders Its Binding to Light-activated Rhodopsin

  • Transducin (T), the heterotrimeric guanine nucleotide binding protein in rod outer segments, serves as an intermediary between the receptor protein, rhodopsin, and the effector protein, cGMP phosphodiesterase. Labeling of T with dansyl chloride (DnsCl) inhibited its light-dependent guanine nucleotide binding activity. Conversely, DnsCl had no effect on the functionality of rhodopsin. Approximately 2-3 mol of DnsCl were incorporated per mole of T. Since fluoroaluminate was capable of activating DnsCl-modified T, this lysine-specific labeling compound did not affect the guanine nucleotide-binding pocket of T. However, the labeling of T with DnsCl hindered its binding to photoexcited rhodopsin, as shown by sedimentation experiments. Additionally, rhodopsin completely protected against the DnsCl inactivation of T. These results demonstrated the existence of functional lysines on T that are located in the proximity of the interaction site with the photoreceptor protein.

The Simulation of Electric Field Distribution for Globular Dielectric in the Atmosphere (대기중에서 구(球)형 유전체의 전계 분포 시뮬레이션)

  • This paper was shown the simulation of electric field distribution of globular dielectric for design of ideal packed-bed plasma reactor. When discharge gap between the electrodes and input voltage are each 20[mm]. 10000[V] in the atmosphere, the results of simulation to the electric field was measured stronger at globular dielectric of $\phi$5[mm] than 1$\phi$[mm] and 3.33$\phi$[mm]. And the maximum electric field or globular dielectric with $\phi$10[mm] was increased about 5[%] to maximum electric field of globular dielectric with $\phi$5[mm] in the atmosphere. when dielectric constant of globular dielectric is 100, it was simulated about 90[%] of maximum electric field of globular dielectric over 1000 dielectric constant. Ana the highest electric field appeared as globular electric was parallel structure with the other globular dielectric side by side of the globular dielectric and connected to electrodes.

  • The purpose of this research was to find out the effects of the person and costume on the formation of first impression. 4 Models were choosen who had sporty, intellectual, social and cute impression. Tried on them sporty, intellectual, social and cute costumes, 16 pictures of them were taken four ty four method, and those were shown to 640 college girl students in Seoul to check the change of impression. The results are as follows : 1) The sporty costume to he perceived as sporty than either the social or intellectual and cute costume. 2) The social person to he perceived as social than either the sporty on intellectual and cute person. 3) The intellectual costume to be perceived as intellectual than either the sporty or social & cute costume. 4) The cute costume to be perceived as cute than either the sporty or social and intellectual costume.

  • To investigate the efficacy, tolerance of Vibramycin Precon PT-122 M and to determine the nature, incidence and severity of side effects of this formulation, 19 patients with urogenital infections were studied. 1. Vibramycin Precon PT-122 M reduced the signs and symptoms of various urogenital infections so as to determine the overall efficacy as good or satisfactory. 2. Intravenous injection of PT-122 M was generally well tolerated in all patients except 2 case of discontinuation because of adverse effect. 3. PT-122 M showed mild to moderate side effects but clinical features ana response to therapy were not influencea by those side effects.

  • Three species of tapeworms infect humans in their adult stage (Taenia solium, Taenia saginata and Taenia asiatica). The 3 are flat, opaque white or yellowish, and exceptional long segmented parasites, measuring 1 to 12 m in their adult stage. In this review, the development of the knowledge regarding the first species, mainly focused on understanding how the larval stage or cysticercus is transmitted to humans, is described. The second species is a cosmopolitan parasite that only causes taeniosis and not cysticercosis; therefore, it will not be included. Information on the third species, which is presently being produced, since this species was recognized as such only at the end of the 20th century, will be discussed at the end of this review.

Protective Effect of Ginseng Polysaccharide Fraction on CCl4-induced Hepatotoxicity in vitvo ana in vivo (인삼 다당분획의 in vitro, in vivo에서 사염화탄소 유발 간독성에 대한 보호효과)

  • Effect of ginseng polysaccharide fraction was examined for $CCl_4$-induced hepatotoxicity in vitro and in vivo. In $CCl_4$-injured primary cultured rat hepatocytes, treatment of the polysaccharide fraction (0.1, 0.3, 1.0 mg/ml) significantly Inhibited the release of LDH and GOT into the culture medium in a dose-dependent manner. Oral administration of the polysaccharide fraction (100, 200 mg/kg) inhibited the decrease of body weight and the increase of the ratio of liver to body weight in $CCl_4$-intoxicated rats. Elevation of GOT, GPT and ALP activity in the serum by $CCl_4$-induced hepatotoxicity was suppressed by administration of ginseng polysaccharide fraction. MDA levels increased in the serum as well as in the liver tissue by treatment with $CCl_4$ showed a tendency to be 연w in the rats given to the polysaccharide fraction. These results suggest that the polysaccharide fraction may be active substance responsible for antihepatotoxic effect of Panax ginseng.

  • From the hydraulic experiment, it was concluded that upwelling could be enhanced when the relative structure height (the ratio of structure height to water depth) was 0.3 and stratification parameter was 3.0. In addition, the optimum size of rubbers was determined that the effect of the mean horizontal length of block was affected incident velocity than size of block. In the numerical experiment, the relation between the shape of rubber and stratification parameter was verified, ana the hydraulic characteristics of 3-D flow field around the artificial structures were investigated. Phenomena of flow field around the artificial upwelling structures corresponded with the results of hydraulic experiment. The position with maximum velocity in artificial upwelling structure was the center of top of its front side and the slip stream occurred at the inside and behind-bottom of artificial upwelling structures. The velocity of slip stream and early amplitude of velocity were higher in the inside than the behind-bottom.
