The object of this study is upper class house in Yang-dong village with the purpose of spatial-sociological study of traditional Korean architecture. Space is the basic element of architecture and is fundamental for understanding architecture. Space, however, can be better understood through its social context rather than through its physical or psychological attributes. Space exists in a society, providing the physical environment which frames it Social environment affects the thoght of people who are members of that society. Space is built by the people in a society and is affected by their thought. Spatial-sociological study can explain a mutual relation between people and space through context. It defines characteristics of space based on mutual relations which exist among the people, the culture of society and the environment of society but also having a sociological component, study of architectural space should consider the social context. Since architectural space is built on social and cultural bases, to understand it requires various methods of study Spatial-sociological analysis is one alternative. Using space syntax, this study analyzes houses in Yang-dong village by not only defining attributes of individual houses, but also common attributes of houses in the village. Based on common attributes of houses in the village, the attributes of Yang-dong village houses can be re-defined within the social context. the results from a spatial-sociological analysis of upper class housing of the Yang-dong village are as follows; (1) Related to confucian ideas in Chosun Dynasty : A house has a dualistic center organized with 'an-chae' and 'sarang-chae'. 'an-chae' space is organized unsociably from outside. (2) Related to various space pattern of Yang-dong village House in the Chosun Dynasty period :As variations in the types of space pattern, the village house exhibit different attributes.

개화기는 우리나라에서 과학교육이 도입되고 전개되던 시기이다. 당시 발간된 과학 교과서는 한국 근대 학교 과학교육에서 중요한 역할을 하였다. 이런 의미에서 과학교과서를 저술하였거나, 발행한 이들은 개화기 한국의 과학 교육을 주도한 중심인물들이었다고 여겨지는데, 이들 중에 역관이었던 현채와 그의 아들 현공염이 있다. 현채는 역관 집안에서 태어나 역과에 급제하였고, 역관 관련 관직을 거쳤으며, 외국어학교, 한성사범학교 부교관으로 있었다. 학부에서는 번역 및 저술 업무를 수행하였다. 현채가 저역술 또는 출판한 순수과학도서로 26종이 된다. 그 중 이과교과서는 자연과학의 전 분야를 다루어 학생들이 반드시 알아야할 지식을 적절한 방법으로 제시하였으며 학생들의 흥미를 유발하였다. 또한 실험을 제시하여 오늘날 과학교과서와 비교할 때 전혀 손색이 없었다. 과학교과서를 저역술한 현채의 과학교육활동은 그를 사학계에서 이중적으로 평가하는 것과는 달리, 개화기 과학교육이 정립되는 시기에 매우 중요한 역할을 하였음을 알 수 있다. 그것은 당시 과학교과서가 부족했기 때문에 과학이라는 새로운 학문의 보급에 있어 과학교과서의 저역술과 출판 활동은 큰 의의가 있는 것이다. 나아가 과학교과서의 편저자나 발행자 중 외국어를 알고, 외국과의 교류 주체 중 중요 인물이었던 역관 현채의 역할과 그의 과학교육 활동은 우리나라 과학 교육의 역사 중 일부분이 되었다고 평가할 수 있다.

An algorithm that searches the general AND-OR graph is proposed. The convergence and the efficiency of the algorithm is examined and compared with an existing algorithm for the AND-OR graph. It is proved that the proposed algorithm is superior to the existing method both in the quality of the solution and the number of node expansions.

적정 화학반응에는 화학종의 전위차 변화뿐만 아니라 지시약의 색깔 변화도 포함된다. 전위차 적정에서는 종말점에서 전위의 급격한 변화를 측정하여 적정 곡선을 얻는다. 산-염기 적정은 일반적으로 지시약의 색 변화를 관찰하여 종말점을 결정함으로써 수행된다. 전위차를 측정하여 종말점을 결정하는 방법은 잘 확립 되어 상용화되어 있지만 색의 변화를 관찰하여 종말점을 얻는 장치는 많지 않은 실정이다. 적외선 광원과 감지기로 적정액 방울을 계수하고, 백색광원과 광 검출기로 종말점의 변색을 감지하여 아날로그-디지털 변환기인 아두이노 (Arduino)가 적용된 간단하고 정밀한 스펙트럼 종말점 검출 기구를 제작하였다. Spectrator는 지시약으로 티몰 블루를 사용한 산-염기 적정에서 재현성 측면에서 우수한 결과를 보였다. Spectrator 제작 과정과 이를 사용한 실험결과를 공유한다.

This study is the seventh of series that have been interpreted as the view of regionalism for the block plans and floor plans of the traditional houses spreaded in Kyoung-Sang-Buck-Do Privince, and is investigated its subject in Sung-ju area. The purpose of study is to be analyzed the block types of the houses and the floor plans of An-chae(ladys inner house) and declared the typical case on the characteristics on each housing elements to Buk-Bi-Go-Teak on the conclusion. The block plan of the high-leveled traditional houses in Sung-ju area is typically the courtyard type that is opening at sides that 3 to 5 of I-shaped or L-shaped buildings are composed. The floor plan of An-chae is mostly typed I-shaped and its bay system is semi-lineal type(Teo-Kan-Gip).

Nitric oxide (NO) has been reported to play an important role as an effector molecule in cytokine signal transduction in cardiomyocytes. The treatment of IL-1b/ TNF-a (2 ng/ml)/ IFN-g (50 U/ml) induced apoptosis in neonatal rat ventricular cardiomyocytes via NO-dependent pathway. When cardiomyocytes were treated with IL-1b (20 ng/ml)/TNF-a (2 ng/ml)/ IFN-g(50 U/ml) in the presence of catalase, the cells were much more resisant to the cell death as well as NO synthesis. However, catalase significantly enhanced the expression of iNOS protein in cardiomyocytes. (omitted)
