  • To distinguish cancer cells from normal cells, H&E (Hematoxylin & Eosin) staining is required. Pathological staining requires a lot of money and time. Recently, a digital dyeing method has been introduced to reduce such cost and time. In this paper, we propose a novel digital pathology algorithms. The first algorithm is the Pair method. This method learns the dyed phase image and unstained amplitude image taken by FPM (Fourier Ptychographic Microscopy) and converts it into a dyed amplitude image. The second algorithm is the unpair method. This method use the stained and unstained fluorescence microscopic images for modeling. In this study, digital staining was performed using a generative adversarial network (GAN). From the experimental results, we noticed that both the pair and unpair algorithms shows the excellent performance.

  • A novel asymmetric multiple-image encryption method using an octonion Fresnel transform (OFST) and a two-dimensional Sine Logistic modulation map (2D-SLMM) is presented. First, a new multiple-image information processing tool termed the octonion Fresneltransform is proposed, and then an efficient method to calculate the OFST of an octonion matrix is developed. Subsequently this tool is applied to process multiple plaintext images, which are represented by octonion algebra, holistically in a vector manner. The complex amplitude, formed from the components of the OFST-transformed original images and modulated by a random phase mask (RPM), is used to derive the ciphertext image by employing an amplitude- and phase-truncation approach in the Fresnel domain. To avoid sending whole RPMs to the receiver side for decryption, a random phase mask generation method based on SLMM, in which only the initial parameters of the chaotic function are needed to generate the RPMs, is designed. To enhance security, the ciphertext and two decryption keys produced in the encryption procedure are permuted by the proposed SLMM-based scrambling method. Numerical simulations have been carried out to demonstrate the proposed scheme's validity, high security, and high resistance to various attacks.

  • In this paper, we have studies the images have been reconstructed by using combination of images which has been acquired by the variation of operating frequency. When inner images has been reconstructed, inner image has been superposition by surface state effect. In this case, image enhancement the phase object and enhance the contrast of inner image. In the result of the specimen for the round defect with 2mm diameter, for the types of the depth are 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm, and 3mm, it has been show that the shape of defect has better than before this processing and phase contrast grow large twice. And we have constructed the acoustic microscope by using quadrature detector that is able simultaneously to acquired the amplitude and phase of the reflected signal. Father more we have studied the reconstruction method of the amplitude and phase images and the enhancement method of the defect images' contrast.

  • A digital micro-mirror device (DMD) has the potential to modulate an incident wave with high speed, and the application for holographic display has been studied by many researchers. However, the quality of reconstructed image isn't good in comparison with that from a gray-scale amplitude-only hologram since it is a binary amplitude-only spatial light modulator (SLM). In this paper, we suggest a method generating a set of binary holograms to improve the quality of the reconstructed image. Here, we are concerned with the case for which the object plane is positioned at the Fourier domain of the plane of the SLM. In this case, any point in the Fourier plane is related to all points in the hologram. So there is a chance to generate a set of binary holograms illuminated by incident wave with constant optical power. Moreover, we find an interesting fact that the quality of reconstructed image is improved when the spatial frequency bandwidth of the binary hologram is limited. Therefore, we propose an iterative segmentation algorithm generating a set of binary holograms that are designed to be illuminated by the wave with constant optical power. The feasibility of our method is experimentally confirmed with a DMD.

  • The characteristics of wake galloping phenomenon for two parallel/unparallel circular cylinders were investigated via wind tunnel tests. The two cylinders were initially deployed in parallel and wake galloping phenomena were observed by varying the center-to-center distance. The effect of an unparallel arrangement of two cylinders was next investigated by fixing the spacing ratio of one side of the cylinders at 5.0D and the other side at 3.0D, in which D represents the diameter of the cylinder. For the unparallel disposition, the 5.0D side showed a small, limited vibration while the 3.0D side produced much larger amplitude of vibration, resulting in a rolling motion. However, the overall amplitude appeared to decrease in unparallel disposition when compared with the amplitude of the 3.0D - 3.0D parallel case. This represents the mitigation effect of wake galloping due to the unparallel disposition between two cylinders. Flow visualization tests with particle image velocimetry were conducted to identify flow fields between two cylinders. The test results demonstrate the existence of a complex interaction of the downstream cylinder with the shear layer generated by the upstream cylinder. When the spacing ratio was large enough, the shear layer was not observed and the downstream cylinder showed only limited random vibration.

  • Clothing shape is principally described in seven factors that are composed of clothing design, clothing material, clothing size, pattern design, sewing method and body motion etc.. The aims of this study was to measurement out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with somato type by using the image processing. The subjects for direct anthropometric measurements were 248 female college students aged from 19 to 22. The data were statistically analyzed by principal analysis and cluster analysis. The results were obtained three somato type. Also I made skirts in order to analyzed to the out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with body. The effect of somato type on the shape of flare skirts was determined by the out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with body. The out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with body was observed between the node number and amplitudes of clothing wave form and node number was determined at the maxim of space-shape amplitude, and the space-shape amplitudes have related with aspect ratio of cross-sectional shape. Results for flare skirts show changes in amplitude and mean with fabrics, somato type. therefore gray-level histogram are correlated with changes out-line space-shape, differences in drape spacing and related fabric properties and their somato type. • Object image using DRPE(Double Random Phase Encryption) in 4f system is encrypted by space-division method using amplitude mask. However, this method has the weakness for the case of having partial data of amplitude mask which can access the original image. To improve the security, we propose the method using the 2-dimension logistic chaos function which shuffles the encrypted data. It is shown in simulation results that the proposed method is highly sensitive to chaos function parameters. To properly decrypt from shuffled encryption data, below 1e-5 % errors of each parameter should be required. Thus compared with conventional method the proposed shows the higher security level.

  • This paper presents a new laser lock-in thermography (LLT) technique for nondestructive evaluation. LLT utilizes a modulated continuous wave laser beam as a heat source to obtain high fidelity thermal wave images even at the presence of background heat disturbances. The thermal waves propagating along the surface and through-the-thickness directions of a structure are visualized using newly developed laser lock-in amplitude and phase images, enhancing the detectability of surface and subsurface defects. The LLT technique is numerically investigated and experimentally validated using thermal images obtained from a steel specimen with low emissivity.

  • The statistics for the Gaussian noise mixed with impulsive noise are modelled. The denoising algorithm called amplitude-limited sample average filter is derived, which is optimal in terms of minimizing mean square errors under the assumption that contaminating noise is heavy-tailed Gaussian distributed. Its performance is shown to be excellent when image is corrupted mainly with Gaussian noise. However, it shows visually grainy output as the amount of impulsive noise increases. In order to overcome such problems, it is combined with the myriad filter to propose an amplitude-limited myriad filter. Simulation shows it effectively removes both Gaussian and impulsive noise, not blurring edges severey.

  • This paper concerns a method for micro-wave imaging. The image reconstruction of a perfect conducting cylinder by phase and amplitude measurement using the X-Band multifrequency is presented troll the simulated data. The high degree of range resolution is achieved using large signal band-width and cross-range resolution is obtained by doppler processing. The comparison of image reconstruction between range doppler processing and circular convolution algorithm is also shown.
