일기예보를 이용한 일사량 예측기법개발 (Predict Solar Radiation According to Weather Report)

  • 태양광발전은 독립전원으로써의 가치는 미미하나 도시전체의 탄소발생량 저감 및 화석연료 사용 저감을 위한 분산전원으로써 가치가 매우 높은 전력원이다. 하지만 태양광발전의 경우 기상조건에 따른 발전량 변동이 심하기에 분산전원으로써 효율적으로 사용하기 위해서는 큰 변동폭을 효과적으로 제어하기 위한 실시간 모니터링이 이루어져야 한다. 하지만 태양광발전량을 좌우하는 일사량은 예측치가 존재하지 않기에 이를 예측해야 하고 본 연구에서는 과거의 일사량을 직산분리 하여 구름의 짙은 정도나 두께 등을 유추할 수 있는 대기투과율을 일기예보에서 발표하는 날씨별로 대푯값을 산정하고 이를 일사량 예측식에 대입하여 일사량을 예측하였다. 그리고 실측 일사량 및 CRM(Cloud Cover Radiation Model)기법인 Kasten and Czeplak의 식을 통해 계산된 예측일사량과의 비교를 통해 검증하였다.

  • It was neede to know the amount of PAR to predict the growth of crops, and the quantity of total radiation to control the temperature by shading screen in the greenhouse. Experiments have been conducted to determine the correlation between the hourly PAR and total solar radiation the transmisson of PAR and total solar radiaiton oat canopy location, and the relationship between the illuminaance and total solar radiation. Additional experiments are needed to confirm thses experimental results.

  • This paper describes the analysis results of an generated power with a inclined solar radiation. 2 different types of modules were employed to study the effect of the a inclined solar radiation on the generated power amount. As a result, it was confirmed that the generated power increased with the solar radiation and the mono crystal type cells generated higher power than the thin film type cells.

제주 실시간 일사량의 기계학습 예측 기법 연구 (A Study on Prediction Techniques through Machine Learning of Real-time Solar Radiation in Jeju)

  • Solar radiation forecasts are important for predicting the amount of ice on road and the potential solar energy. In an attempt to improve solar radiation predictability in Jeju, we conducted machine learning with various data mining techniques such as tree models, conditional inference tree, random forest, support vector machines and logistic regression. To validate machine learning models, the results from the simulation was compared with the solar radiation data observed over Jeju observation site. According to the model assesment, it can be seen that the solar radiation prediction using random forest is the most effective method. The error rate proposed by random forest data mining is 17%.

한반도에서 해상도 변화에 따른 지표면 일사량의 시공간 분포 (Temporal and Spatial Distributions of the Surface Solar Radiation by Spatial Resolutions on Korea Peninsula)

  • The surface solar radiations were calculated and analyzed with spatial resolutions (4 km and 1 km) using by GWNU (Gangneung-Wonju National University) solar radiation model. The GWNU solar radiation model is used various data such as aerosol optical thickness, ozone amount, total precipitable water and cloud factor are retrieved from Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectrometer (MODIS), Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI), MTSAT-1R satellite data and output of the Regional Data Assimilation Prediction System(RDAPS) model by Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA), respectively. The differences of spatial resolutions were analyzed with input data (especially, cloud factor from MTSAT-1R satellite). And the Maximum solar radiation by GWNU model were found in Andong, Daegu and Jinju regions and these results were corresponded with the MTSAT-1R cloud factor.

  • Limited fossil fuels and unstable energy supply are considered as one of the critical problems in architecture requiring large amounts of energy. In order to this challenge, environment-friendly architecture design is required. Especially, Application of solar energy as a clean energy source and one kind of renewable energy. Many sites however are mainly concentrated in the developed countries, and are scarcer within the developing world. Simple radiation estimation models using meteorologically observed input parameters are often used in the applications requiring rough estimations of solar radiation. In this paper, measurements of global solar radiation and cloud data hours in climatological locations in South Korea are used to develop an estimation in solar radiation. The results of measured data are compared with the results obtained from equations, internationally accepted correlations.

태양열 정수시스템 이용을 위한 일사량과 경사각에 따른 응축특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Condensation Characteristics with Solar Radiation and Tilted Angles for Using Solar Water Purifying System)

  • In this paper, to find effective way of the production of the distilled water with solar radiation, 4 different boxes of condensation systems were compared. The bottom size of boxes are identical but the angles of top collecting plates are different. During the solar radiation, condensation did not occur and the condensation start when solar radiation was decreased. The maximum condensation reached when the temperatures of the top and bottom parts are equal. The condensation was continued until sunrise with gradually reduced amount. When top plate angle was $45^{\circ}$, condensation was highest compared with the other angles.

  • The amount of incident rays over inclination according to direction has been widely utilized as important data m installing solar thermal systems. To optimize the incident solar radiation, the slope, that is the angle between the plane surface in question and the horizontal, and the solar azimuth angles are needed for these solar thermal systems. This is because the performance of the solar thermal systems in much affected by angle and direction of incident rays. Recognizing that factors mentioned above are of importance, actual experiment on the moving route of the sun have been performed in this research to obtain the angle of inclination with which the maximum incident rays can be absorbed. After all, the standard for designing highly optimized solar thermal systems will be provided for designers and employees working in the solar collector related industries.

위성자료 기반의 단층태양복사모델을 이용한 한반도 태양-기상자원지도 개발 (Development of Solar-Meteorological Resources Map using One-layer Solar Radiation Model Based on Satellites Data on Korean Peninsula)

  • The solar and meteorological resources map is calculated using by one-layer solar radiation model (GWNU model), satellites data and numerical model output on the Korean peninsula. The Meteorological input data to perform the GWNU model are retrieved aerosol optical thickness from MODIS (TERA/AQUA), total ozone amount from OMI (AURA), cloud fraction from geostationary satellites (MTSAT-1R) and temperature, pressure and total precipitable water from output of RDAPS (Regional Data Assimilation and Prediction System) and KLAPS (Korea Local Analysis and Prediction System) model operated by KMA (Korea Meteorological Administration). The model is carried out every hour using by the meteorological data (total ozone amount, aerosol optical thickness, temperature, pressure and cloud amount) and the basic data (surface albedo and DEM). And the result is analyzed the distribution in time and space and validated with 22 meteorological solar observations. The solar resources map is used to the solar energy-related industries and assessment of the potential resources for solar plant. The National Institute of Meteorological Research in KMA released $4km{\times}4km$ solar map in 2008 and updated solar map with $1km{\times}1km$ resolution and topological effect in 2010. The meteorological resources map homepage (http://www.greenmap.go.kr) is provided the various information and result for the meteorological-solar resources map.

  • The solar radiation, inner temperature of the tilted box and the amount of condensed water were measured to find the most effective purified water production system. The inner temperature of the tilted box was related with solar radiation that was affected by sunshine and cloud. With analyzing those relationships of the solar radiation, inner box temperature, the angle of tilted boxes and amounts of water condensation optimal collecting system area could be calculated.
