  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the estimation model of' amenity environment' by Perceived Envionmental Quality Index(PEQI) model. A questionnaire survey was carried out for 연e study area of Taegu-Kyungbuk region. Sampling size was 838(427 of Taegu and 411 of Kyungbuk residents by stratified sampling of each region's(7 Gu for Tae-gu, 7 Cities 61 Gun far Kyungbuk) population. The survey was done during Sep. to Nov, of 1996. The suggested model was composed of four estimation categories and 16 Indicators. The four categories were 'Cleanness 61 Quietness', 'Naturalness & Harmony', 'Beauty 61 Comfort' and 'Environmental Conservation Efforts'. And each category has several individual Indicators. The weighted means of satisfaction were different by each region. Suseong-gu, Dalseogu, Joong-gu(Taegu), Bumcheon, Andong, and Cheondo(Kyungbuk) showed high enoronmental satisfaction, but Dong-gu. Seo-gu(taegu), Youngcheon, and Pohang(Kyungbuk) showed lower environmental satisfaction. By Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) of weighting values for each categorirs, 'Enoronmental Conservation Efforts' was estimated as the most Important(value of 0.367), and 'Naturalness 61 Harmony'(0. 242),'Clenness & guletness'(0.225), and 'Beauty & Comfort'(0.166) were Important respectively. Total PEQI's were estimated as 48.0 for Taegu, and 53.3 for Kyungbuk. PEQI's for each regions were between 46.2(Dong-gu) and 59.9(Kimcheon). The validity of the suggested model was verined by factor analysis. The four factors were identnied as the same categories and indicators. Finally, The LISREL+7 model was suggested as estimauon model of 'Amenity Environment' for Taegu-Kyungbuk region.

  • The assessment of an urban site depends on the way whether it responds to multiple needs such as functionality, aesthetic and complex comfort of acoustic, thermal, lighting and air quality etc. This study aims to investigate the assessment of various urban soundscapes in the sense of acoustic amenity by the questionnaires. As a result, acoustic amenity assessment was influenced by the non-acoustic factors such as environment assessment of visual, thermal, air quality etc. In the sense of sound quality, urban environmental sound was interpreted as 3 factors of strength, evolution of time, spacial localization. So these factors would be considered in the new assessment method for acoustic amenity. And it was shown that the subjects tend to perceive the noise level less than $3{\sim}5dB\;L_{eqA}$ according to the urban landscapes under the similar noise exposure level.

  • This study is basically to investigate the possibility of revitalizing the fishing village economy by targeting on trip type, propensity, and awareness of visitors who visited Gogunsan in JeonBuk by applying Blue Amenity. As the result of survey, it showed that visitors in Gosunsan islands generally were satisfied with trip, and they had considerably higher intention of revisit. However, it showed that the improvement and publicity of various travel services including resources and facilities were demanded. In particular, it should pay attention to requirements depending on age and selection of main visitors with reference to revisit, and as the result, the factors having the most important influence on are traffic, and natural scenery, so it is considered that these factors must be maintained to increase the rate of revisit with full of concentration. Besides, it is confirmed that Visitors are unfamiliar with Blue Amenity applying fishing village's own historical cultural resources with reference to preferring islands trip, and they were much concerned about the establishment of tentatively named "regional(urban - fishing village) center" to revitalize the fishing village economy. Moreover it could grasp the tourist industry operated jointly by fishing villages, the pride of town to characterize, advantage in promoting the tourist industry as compared with other regions, and difficulties or recommendations in promoting the tourist industry. And comprehensive investigation of Blue Amenity resources in this region and the measures of improving life environment must be performed in future.

  • This study analyzed the influence of the perception of physical environment on user satisfaction and park use when people use the park to improve their health. The study is focused on neighborhood parks in Suseong-gu, Daegu city. Statistical analyses were employed to data collected from 143 visitors on site. First of all, in the perception evaluation of the physical environment of the park, accessibility and pedestrian environment are the highest at 4.04, while water space and attractions in the park as the lowest parts are at 2.32 and 2.66. After conduct factor analysis to type 22 physical environmental awareness components, five main factors--Comfort, Availability, Amenity, Facilities convenience and Visuality--were classified. Then, satisfaction and influence on park use were analyzed. As a result, the factors affecting user satisfaction were comfort, availability, amenity and facility convenience. Among them, the category of amenity was the most influential factor at 0.315. The factors affecting the park use were availability and amenity. Availability factor had a higher influence at 0.396 than amenity at 0.293. Therefore, in order to improve satisfaction and park use for health improvement, it is necessary to secure sufficient green areas and create a pleasant environment. Also, it is necessary to improve the quality of walkability from homes to parks, trail improvement and other improvements.

  • Several policy measures related to green tourism have been enforced from 2001 by Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF). Rural Development Administration(RDA). Ministry of Environment(ME) and Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs(MGAHA). These have to be introduced and managed of their own accord and autonomously. Also, the rural community that has been promoting green tourism must be harmonized with its natural environment, namely natural scenery and rural culture, which provide urban residents with amenity and rurality. So green tourism had better be based on environmental-friendly agriculture because it offers safe foods and areas, many creatures to see and play around. To manage green tourism sustainable, it if important for rural and urban residents to come into close relation and to trade in organic products each other. Lastly, the region bounds in green tourism have to be expanded into county(Gun) unit.
