This paper proposes the optimal placement with minimum set of Phasor Measurement Units (PMU's) using tabu search and makes an alternative plan to secure the robustness of the network with PMU's. The optimal PMU Placement (OPP) problem is generally expressed as a combinatorial optimization problem subjected to the observability constraints. Thus, it is necessary to make a use of an efficient method in solving the OPP problem. In this paper, a tabu search based approach to solve efficiently this OPP problem proposed. The observability of the network with PMU's is fragile at any single PMU contingency. To overcome the fragility, an alternative scheme that makes efficient use of the existing measurement system in power system state estimation proposed. The performance of the proposed approach and the alternative scheme is evaluated with IEEE sample systems.

It analyzed the supply status of fine aggregate and find the point of issue related alternative fine aggregate through researches and interviews. The conclusions of the study are as follows. 1. Ready mixed concrete manufacture used crushed fine aggregate (15.5$\%$) and recycled fine aggregate (1.5$\%$) for alternatives aggregate than 1.3$\%$ in 1991. It is not allowed to use a recycled fine aggregate in ready mixed concrete, but they used it. 2. All alternative aggregate are satisfied the Korean Standard, But they showed low properties of mortar compared to when it replaced with natural fine aggregate. So, it is needed to make another special Korean Standard to use alternative aggregate in normal concrete by mixing method to recover the workability and compressive strength.

Cellular manufacturing system (CMS) has been recognized as an alternative to improve manufacturing productivity in conventional batch-type manufacturing systems through reducing set-up times, work-in-process inventories and throughput times by means of group technology. Most of the studies on the design of CMS assumed that each part has a unique process plan, and that its demand is known as a deterministic value despite of the probabilistic nature of the real world problems. This study suggests an approach for designing CMS, considering both alternative process plans and uncertain demand. A mathematical model is presented to show how to minimize the expected amortized and operating costs satisfying these two relaxations. Four heuristic algorithms are developed based on tabu search which is well suited for getting an optimal or near-optimal solution. Example problems are carried out to illustrate the heuristic algorithms and each of them is compared with the deterministic counterpart.

This paper deals with the procedures of effective mid-term Operation Planning establishment for painting shop in shipbuilding. and develop prototype system. In general, the block painting process consists of two stages such as blasting operation for surface preparation and painting operation for paint application for blocks. Weather condition is a potent Influence on those operations. The procedures consists of four steps, Load analysis, Generate alternative simulation plan. Implementation of Allocation automation module and Compare result of each simulation plan. Explain of each step. as follows, 1.step, Load analysis measure amount of assigned workload and manhour. 2.step, simulation scheme include alterable control variable such as overtime, weather. Auto allocating module carry out feasibility of simulation plan. 3.step, Allocation automation module are composed of three algorithms, as followings: - the block allocation algorithm that determines the number of blocks to be processed each day, - the team allocation algorithm that allocates blocks to worker groups. - the block arrangement algorithm that arrange blocks in blasting and painting cells. Since the block arrangement algorithm is conducted simultaneously with the team allocation algorithm, the total structure of the operating algorithms is considered to have two phases: first, daily load balancing with capacity limit and second, team allocation considering arrangement each day 4 step, Comparing result of each simulation plan. and select best simulation plan.

In connection with the plan for improving the residential environment gradually by analyzing the present condition of the reconstruction and parcel form of the housing area in a inner area, the main objective of this research is to develop a cooperative urban housing model based on the neighborhood agreement. The parcel form has a structure that is inappropriate for individual reconstruction； thus, the substantial improvement only through the residential environment improvement project has its limitations. As an alternative plan to resolve such limitations, I proposed a system that enables step-by-step reconstruction within the small-scaled blocks through the annexation of the land based on the neighborhood agreement. Nonetheless, I realized that it is difficult to apply such reconstruction system to individual housing. Therefore, I presented a design concept on the cooperative urban housing project as a residential form for the reconstruction inside blocks. A model plan vouches for its effectiveness. To apply substantially the cooperative urban housing plan based on the neighborhood agreement, we need to supplement the sectional plan system.

In this study, a digital design process by utilizing the program's database functionality in BIM, public education facilities master plan presented an alternative model to the layout of the design process. First of all, public education facilities master plan design process with digital design process and how to use the database of BIM in the process for review of the possibility of. Secondly, public educational facility planning the placement as needed for the switch to digital design limits, and the basic plan design at various elementary school planning alternatives in a school building and the school site is required to investigate. Thirdly, as a way of using the database features of GDL BIM lnn and teachers on how to create a variable by setting up a number of different alternatives so that you can choose the architect thought to have to organize and visualize the possibility of quick. A quantitative way the basic plan design that repeats some of the measures that can be used for digital design change as a process of continuous research is needed.

This study aims to propose design directions for the eco-friendly, sustainable underground campus in terms of integrated design. For this purpose, theoretical investigation, design methodology and quality investigation, analytical case studies on the domestic and foreign underground campus, and user survey for POE(Post Occupancy Evaluation) and analysis on the recently built domestic underground campus plans were conducted. As a conclusion, design direction and improvement areas for the synthesized sustainable underground campus plan were proposed. Underground campus plan will be a great alternative for a 21st century sustainable campus if well-developed plans with organized design guidelines are established.

Present structure design has a problem arising from the fact that present apartment housing design doesn't satisfy user's diverse demand. An aim of this study on searching out the alternative to solve this problem. The results of study are as follows : 1) Methods of flexible structure are analyzed to reflect user's needs and practical example of those proposed. 2) To raise the flexibility of design reinforced concrete pannel wall system are selected. The basic types of T and II for the figures of pannel are adopted. As a result it brought so much open space not having influenced on the load of construction that it enhances the flexibility of the space allocation. Also that made it easy to meet the user's demand for 8 kinds of plan types are easily designed according to the arrangement of the space and its scale. These results will become basic data of future unit plan design in apartment housing.

There have been significant changes in the Korean railway environment in recent years. First, as the railway restructuring plan, Korea Rail Network Authority and KORAIL were established and commenced their works. Secondly, the opening of the high speed railway has provided a chance of reorganization in the whole operation system of the Korean railway network. These new changed environments require an alternative plan to examine the management system of deficit lines and their stations. This paper is intended to approach to clearly define the concept of deficit rail stations and lines in order to make a contribution to establish a comprehensive rationalization plan in the management environment of railroad. The study proposes some method to categorize their deficit stations and lines by three ways.

Recently the urban railroad which is under plan and construction in domestic is under consideration Light Rail Transit mostly with the alternative against excess of working expenses of Midium Rail Transit(subway), inefficient transportation problem etc. It come to a conclusion that the application of the light rail transit is proper from reserve feasibility study and approval process of Master plan in Daegu urban railroad Line No.3 Based on hereupon, carried out the detail investigation for optimum system selection which suitable for Daegu urban circumstance in process of master plan can satisfy the working expenses decided in national expenditure support project.
