Recently, A manufacturing formula centered of the customer is one of the most important parts for the company competition. Chungju city with beautiful natural environments and various cultural resources recently meets the new economic revival caused by opening of Jungbu Naeruk express way and invitation of the enterprise city. Now, the out door lightings come to the major issues to improve Chungju night image and to exploit new scenic spots. this study aims to develop the lighting plan for the jung-won bridge as a representative scenic spot in Chungju city. For the study, the field surveys and computer simulations were performed. As results, the lighting concepts such as entrance and apple images and alternative lighting plans were suggested.

Recently, the community developmental enthusiasm is activated and emerged with the varied developmental plans since the localization was implemented in Korea. But the anxious view of the environmental problems has been gradually heightened in the Environmentally Sound and Sustainable Developmental(ESSD). The local autonomy should listen to the public opinions because the people's anti-developmental movement could obstruct the development project in the community level. The Environment-friendly Rural Development Plan(EFRDP) pursues the development and the environmental preservation of the community at the same time. Therefore EFRDP reflects the local developmental intention and consideration of environmental preservation at the step of planning. Throughout the planning process the opinions of development and environmental preservation should be adjusted, the people's planning ability can be enhanced, and new creative alternative ideas will come out at times.

This study analyzes the physical environments of studio-housing and suggests alternative solutions for the problems of studio-housing. Based on solving the problems of it through previous research review, the research methods are decided on-site survey and the housing floor plan analysis. The results of this study are follows. First, parking lots make passengers uncomfortable. Narrow spaces between buildings cause problems in terms of light, ventilation, and privacy. Moreover, the short of green space makes living conditions less amenable. Second, the narrow corridors of studio-housing buildings bring about bad effects on walking and privacy. The living conditions becomes worse due to the illegal remodeling. Third, even though a multi-family housing provision for low or middle-income families is a good housing policy, new design policies or interventions are needed to make residents' behavior comfortable.

Value Engineering(VE) has been recognized by many companies as a powerful and innovative technical approach for cost down and improvement in function of product and service. VE is a discipline which use an organized, creative approach to achieve the required function at the lowest cost. For the Purpose of developing new product, at this paper used the method of 2nd look VE developing bike helmet, in the order of selecting target, function analysis and writing alternative. The development of Helmet by the process of VE job plan, achieve the cost reduction of 27 million won for developing new product with customer's need.

The operation of the Seat-type Express Electric railway (SEE) has been watched for an alternative plan according to the increase of competition among the vehicle in metropolitan city. The purpose of this study was to examine a feasibility for the adoption of the SEE by analysis of various condition in the double tracked Souel-Chuncheon line. Fare estimate, station selection for SEE, managerial plan, demanding forecasting and analysis were performed to compute financial efficiency. The results showed financial validity on Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C), Financial Net Present Value (FNPV), Financial Internal Rate of Return (FIRR). This results indicate the evidence that SEE is a new means which is able to complement for finance, transportation capacity in metropolitan city.

The purpose of this research is to compare the stiffness increment effects with the floor plan shapes by the stiffness increment factors. For this, we generated the standard floor plans with Box and T type shapes. Then applied the stiffness increment factors -outrigger, material strength, member section- to those floor plans, and generated several alternative analysis models that make the effects of the factors to the lateral displacement exposed. Finally, we analyzed the stiffness increment effects and compared with each other by the stiffness increment factors. As a result, we found that the increment effects have not influence to floor plan shapes, and orders of stiffness increment effects are outrigger, core wall and material strength. We expect that the results of this study could be effectively utilized in the schematic structural design of tall buildings.

Our country has been encountered with severe economic depression since IMF loan(1997). Korean economic system should be reformed according to the globalization and the world industrial trends based on adavanced technologies and skills. Todays the venture business should be considered to be the alternative of recovering Korean economy and increasing highly estimated values. Generally speaking, the venture business is defined as a new business with high risk-high return with new technical entrepreneurship. This treatise suggests the activating alternatives of the venture business in Korea. These alternatives are suggested as follows. First, several measures to incruit excellent technicians are suggested. These measures includes incruitment of parttime technicians, application of cooperative program of education training unemployees, the stock option system, a stock-sharing plan for the employees, etc. Second, in the financial aspect, activation of the foundation investment company, activation of the COSDAQ market, strengthening of technology security are suggested. Third, in the technical development aspect, amplification of inauguration assistant center, construction of technology accumulative network, etc. These measures will contribute to the development of Korean economy and the welfare of Korean people.

Saemangeum development project is the world's largest tidal flat reclamation project. It is currently under construction, and proceeding with phased developments. The construction of agricultural areas within the Saemangeum reclamed lands is also a part of this project. These areas will have multi-functional complexes aiming to produce mainly eco-friendly horticultural crops and livestock products for the purpose of export. The major concern is to obtain sufficient water with appropriate quality to supply to those areas. The objective of this study is therefore to provide available water supply plans for agricultural purpose, especially for horticulture and livestock complexes. Alternative methods for water supply are purifying water from the Saemangenm lake or using water supply services providing by K-water or local governments. This study investigates to find an economical water supply plan through comparisons of these methods. As a result, the water purification method with Saemangeum lake water could be advantageous for given water supply conditions to horticulture and livestock complexes.

The objective of this study is to prepare the plans for managing construction noise effectively and solving the popular enmity from construction noise reasonably. In order to carry out this purpose, it covers the efficient improvement plans for adjusting the construction noise regulation standard rationally and managing the automatic noise measuring system which shows the advantage for construction noise management and popular enmity solution due to construction noise. The three alternative plans of the construction noise regulation standard and the recommendation plan including the guideline for installing and managing the automatic noise measuring system are suggested consequently.
