Recently, securing a vast land in the land region becomes more difficult and efforts to seek its alternation in the sea area have been increased. As a consequence, the coastal region has been faced to extensive beach erosion problems. In planning offshore structures such as artificial islands, it is necessary to forecast the influence of the structure construction exerting on the beach erosion of the adjacent coast. In the present study, the sediment movement pattern behind offshore structure was examined through a series of three dimensional movable bed experiments, so as to develop the numerical model which forecasts morphological change including beach erosions. The experimental results reveal that the sediment movement patterns of the beach line side and the depth region are separated at a certain boundary line. In details, at the beach side including swash zone the sediment movement becomes dominant, which is governed by a relation between depth contours and incident wave directions, while at the depth region the bed load and suspended load due to the orbit motion of waves are carried by nearshore currents, and both movements are clearly separated at a specified boundary that is related to partial standing wave from the beach. It is expected that these results can be effectively used for verification of a numerical model on morphological change of the coast.
The alternation of light transmissivity of covering films used in most greenhouses over years become of concern. Recently, durable films over 0.1mm in thickness which having 3~5 years life time were popularly used in many greenhouses. However, the films have been replaced yearly with new ones because of lowering light transmittance. The replacement caused negative environmental impact as well as cost increasement. This study was conducted to find fundamental data for developing of a cleaning machine for covering films of greenhouses.
Probiotics are live organisms that when administered in adequate amounts confer a health benefit on hosts. The administration of direct-fed microbials (DFM) such as lactobacilli and bacillus, may be a more direct approach to beneficially alter gastrointestinal microflora than altering dietary ingredients or supplementing with growth-promoting levels of antibiotics. It is apparent that microbes have an important influence on immune development and resistance to infection; that microbes are not static colonizers of our bodies, but are dynamic, symbiotic coresidents. And it can improve the surrounding environments; decrease the malodor caused by degrade the excrement. Recently, new paradigm such as environment protection and safe food have been settled. In domestic farm house, there is a great demand for probiotics as a substitute of antibiotics for the improvement of environmental quality and the production of a competitive goods. Probiotics circulated in a country have three categories: an animal medicine permitted by national veterinary research quarantine service (NVRQS), a support feed registered in city or country house, and not-registered goods. However, lots of unqualified goods were produced and circulated. And thus, it is in urgent need of evaluating the present situation and effect of probiotics. This study was conducted to evaluate the system of a probiotics as a livestock-environment improving agents for the alternation of antibiotics and quality control of it.

The alternation of extracellular matrix (ECM) protein in aging process is associated with symptoms such as wrinkling and loss of elasticity in skin. Now, the major target proteins for anti-aging have been metalloproteases and the structural proteins such as collagen and elastin. Recently, the interaction of cell and ECM proteins (collagen, fibrillin, and fibronectin) is reported to have an important role in survival, proliferation and tissue reconstruction. Fibronectin is a matrix adhesion protein which binds to collagen and integrin and degraded by serine proteases. It has been reported that fragments of fibronectin (Fn-fr's) were involved in matrix metalloproteases (MMPs) expression in osteoblast. But, the role of Fn-fr's in human skin and in skin cells has not been reported yet. Therefore, we investigated the differences of fibronectin fragmentation pattern between young and aged human skin, and demonstrated that the fragmentation of fibronectins is significantly increased in aged human skin. Also, treatment of Fn-fr's (70, 45 kDa) increased MMP-1 expression and MMP-2 activity in human dermal fibroblasts. Our results suggest that Fn-fr's as a potential new factor to accelerate skin aging.
Ahn Minyoung's editorial work of gajib(songbook) was the work for realization of artistic ability which had been a pursuit for his life. According to recent excavation of 'Seungpyeonggok' that is another gajib editted by Ah Minyoung, it is found that his editorial work of gajib was began in earlier days. 'Seungpyeonggok' composes 12 pieces of works, and it arranged each piece of work with melody of gagok, respectively. For the size, it is evaluated to 'the smallest gajib' among the left gajib at present. This gajib was composed to celebrate the gathering of Seungpyeonggye which led by Ahn Minyoung. There is Preface which was written by Ahn Minyoung, and the content of preface could be similar to the one in his another gajib 'Geumokchongbu' except some omission, variation, or alternation of content and phrase partly to fit for the character of each gajib. The names of Seungpyeonggye's members are shown in the preface of 'Seungpyeonggok', so it is important material for studying the appearances and activities of the members at that time. The purpose and intention of Seungpyeonggye's gathering was clarified in the preface of 'Seungpyeonggok' was composed to the repertoir of gagok sung at the celebration party. All the collected works are related to Daewongun directly or indirectly in their contents. Because the celebration party of Seungpyeonggye was designed for Daewongun, all the contents are dedication for Dasewongun easily. And the works of 12-pieces previously discussed were found as playing repertoir, 'type of pyeon-ga' which was composed to 8-pieces and 4-pieces identically.
The sprouting characteristics of Scirpus planiculmis and storage methods of corm for the herbicide screening were investigated under both laboratory and greenhouse conditions. Sprouting and elongation of S. planiculmis corms were continued during storage at low temperature ($5^{\circ}C$) and wet condition. However, sprouting of corm was failed when the surface water was removed from the corm, and elongation was reduced by the treatment of 0.5-1.0% sodium chloride(NaCl) solution. Alternate temperature was more effective on the sprouting of S. planiculmis corm than constant temperature. Optimum temperature for the sprouting of S. planiculmis corm was alternation between $25^{\circ}C$ to $35^{\circ}C$. Storage at $-20^{\circ}C$ for 10 min. or 14.7% dehydration made the corm of S. planiculmis to fail for sprouting. S. planiculmis corm was more tolerant to sodium chloride than Echinochloa crus-galli or Oryza sativa(Donginbyeo) seeds. Sprouting rate was decreased by cutting of the corm. Sprouting percent by vertical cuttings, horizontal cuttings, and vertical plus horizontal cuttings were 72, 56, and 28%, respectively.

Many physical therapy who graduate department of physical therapy interested in physical therapy specialist. The boundary of physical therapy specialist is consist of 7 parts; CCS(Cardiopulmonary Certified Specialist), ECS(Clinical Electrophysiologic Certified Specialist), GCS(Geriatric Certified Specialist), NCS(Neurologic Certified Specialist), NCS(Neurologic Certified Specialist), OCS(Orthopaedic Certified Specialist), PCS(Pediatric Certified Specialist), SCS(Sports Certified Specialist). So the purpose of this study was to investigate of undergraduate student's interest about the area of special physical therapy and its academy. The data were collected from May 17 to 24, 2004 and 158 valid questionnaires were obtained and analyzed. It was for undergraduate students who major in physical therapy in college and university which are located in Busan, Ulsan and Kyoungnam province. The result is follows: 1. The research about the study of physical therapy after graduation was that 45.5% of female thought that they going to study as possible as they can was the best. In the case of men, 54.3% of male thought that they going to study was the best. 2. The result about recognition of special physical therapy was that 62.0% of people answered CCS, 69.6% of people answered GCS. The most familiar part of special physical therapy at course of school curriculum was that 88.0% of people answered OCS, and 84.2% of people answered NCS. 3. The result about the most interesting part of special physical therapy was that 68.6% of male and 36.1% of female answered OCS. On the other hand, the least part that people doesn't care was that 41.2% of male answered PCS, and 41.0% of female answered CCS. 4. About educational matters of special physical therapy and its academy was that 60% of answered 'Not enough'. An answer to question of special physical therapy and its academy's educational necessity. At the a course of faculty and clinical practice was that 58.9% of answered 'somewhat necessary'. After graduation, study a plan of special physical therapy was that 59.5% of answered 'immediate academy'. 5. Recognize scale in alternation physical therapy, think of extend physical therapy's territory is 'necessary of extend territory' was 78% the highest answer. 57.6% of answered was concerned about alternating physical therapy, and want to study.

This study is basic research which aims to compare and analyze changes in rural areas in modern times. The main purpose of this study is to comprehend the characteristics of changes in the Korean rural landscape and to suggest the implications for preservation and maintenance of the rural landscape. To help in understanding the rural landscape systematically, it should be divided into six types: housing landscape, cultivation landscape, green landscape, waterside landscape, streetscape and symbolic and religious landscape. According to this step, the contents and the procedures of changes were analyzed generally. Based on the literature review and field survey, the styles of changes were deduced to be formation, alternation, relocation, damage and restoration on landscape elements. Lastly, it was concluded that complex changes of landscape in rural areas from the government's development policy have been continued from macroscopic changes like overall structure and system of landscape to microscopic changes like shape, material, size and color of each landscape element. Rural villages which have not had the government's development policy applied to them may not be appropriate for this study. However, this study has significance in that it can suggest the direction for desirable rural planning. Future studies need to consider landscape change through not only the development policy but also economic, social and cultural factors.

As the shortage of natural & good quality aggregate for concrete, it is needed development of alternative aggregate. At the present time, the crushed sand is widely used among the alternation aggregate, and the usage of crushed sand will be increased more and more. Generally, crushed sud is produced with wet process in domestic, but some manufacturing companies which are handicapped with local restrict are produced by dry process. In this study, analyzing the facilities of dry crushed sand, the quality properties of dry crushed sand was done by Korean Industrial Standards. Based on the quality results of dry crushed sand, the experiment of concrete with the dry crushed sand which is substitute for sea sand was done. As the results of basic qualities, the amount of 0.08 mm sieve passing ratio was over KS criteria, and the fineness modulus was higher than sea sand, and the other physical properties of dry crushed sand was similar to sea sand. The results of concrete experiment, according to the substitutive ratio of dry crushed sand is increased, the slump and air content of concrete was decreased by increase of fine particles of dry crushed sand, and the unit weight content, compressive & tensile strength of concrete were increased on the contrary. The physical properties of concrete used dry crushed sand were showed same tendency without relation to W/B. Consequently, if the fine particle contents of dry crushed sand was lower, it is judged that dry crushed sand is no problem to use for concrete aggregate and the amount of usage will be increased.
Singeing has always been equated with meat color alteration through lipid oxidation and microbial population. Singeing method has always been employed far removing duck feathers, however, the effect of singeing on storage characteristic of duck meat has not been investigated extensively. The study was therefore, designed to Investigate the effect of singeing on duck meat during storage extensively. For the purpose, study was categorized into three groups namely A, B, and C, representing 0, 50 and 70 seconds of singeing time. Singeing was performed on 100 birds in each group, however, only 20 singed birds from each treatment groups were further selected to analyse them subsequently during storage. Analysis revealed that with 70 seconds singeing time drip loss was significantly (p<0.05) higher at $6mgf/cm^2$ compared to 50 seconds of singeing. With 70 seconds treatment breast meat apparently appeared black, where as with 50 seconds treatment no change was observed. Breast showed low redness with more duration of treatment compared to less treatment duration. Yellowness increased, springiness declined and no change was observed in cohesiveness and chewiness with high treatment time. There was increase in the TBARS and VBN, freshness did not change for first 5 days, however, K values started to increase later on indicated decline in freshness. Conclusively, it was inferred from the study that 50 seconds singeing does not make much alternation in the quantitative traits and at the same time maintains the microbial level under permissible limit.
