In this paper, by means of Lyapunov second method, we analyze the stability of IP control servo systems in the time domain for the first time. Based on the results on the stability analysis, the design rule to select the gain of IP control is suggested such that the maximum error of output to the nominal system is guaranteed for all uncertainty and load variations. An example of a speed control of brushless dc motor given to prove the unusefulness of the gain design rule.

Along the advancement of mobile networks, fixed telephone networks are gradually advancing from legacy networks based on copper and circuit-switches to optical cables and packet-switched IP networks. Incumbent fixed-line telephone operators are facilitating the introduction of IP networks and are gradually converting to IP-based facilities according to the investment plans for each operator. As the PSTN's IP conversion exceeds a certain level and VoIP; (an alternative service); is activated, some countries; such as Europe; are considering terminating the PSTN service, centering on operators. In this paper, trends in the procedure, timing, and major issues related to the termination of an overseas PSTN are examined. The domestic status is also examined.

In this paper, end-to-end VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) performance is evaluated by simulation with NS-2 simulation tool. There are many results studied and published for VoIP performance over TCP/IP networks. But, almost all of them were focused on wired or wireless Internet environments. About MANET (Mobile Ad Hoc Network), VoIP is currently studying several points of research. In this paper, analysis of VoIP performance is done with focusing on the mobility of MANETs. MOS(Mean Opinion Score), network delay, packet loss rates are considered as end-to-end QoS performance parameters.

In general, standard TCP/IP (transmission control protocol-internet protocol), which is called TCP/IP, is using as the communication basis protocol between any collections of networks that is connected. In this paper, using this TCP/IP implementation of remote control system and suitable program for long distance communication is proposed. This system can make system, which basic Ethernet and TCP/IP used system, to mini modeling, so all module that is using here can be used. Therefore, intention of this paper is to reduce expenses, to effective manage for plant and to increase of productivity as linking each plant of several factory to TCP/IP and Ethernet, and then many control plant and manager minimize the needed course.

3G 이동통신 시스템 표준화 단체인 3GPP ($3^{rd}$ Generation Partnership Project)와 3GPP2 ($3^{rd}$ Generation Partnership Project 2)는 이동통신망에서의 무선 IP 멀티미디어 서비스 확산을 위하여 유선 인터넷의 핵심 응용 서비스인 실시간 서비스를 도입하기 위한 표준화 작업을 진행하고 있다. 그리고, 현재 개발 중인 HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access)와 IMS (IP Multimedia CN Subsystem)는 궁극적으로 All IP 기반 광대역 멀티미디어 서비스 제공을 추구하고 있으며 Parlay API(Application Programming Interface)를 이용한 다양한 $3^{rd}$ party 응용서비스 제공 환경을 제공할 수 있을 것이다. 이에 본 고에서는 HSDPA 및 IMS를 포괄하는 All IP관련 표준화 현황을 조사하고 나아가 IMS와 HSDPA 기반 서비스 진화에 대한 고찰을 통해 향후 이동통신 서비스의 개발 방향을 예측해 보고자한다.

Mobile IP maintains Internet connectivity while Mobile Hosts moving from one Internet attachment point to another. However, Mobile If is not appropriate for seamless mobility. Some micromobility protocols were proposed to complement Mobile IP by offering fast and seamless handoff control in limited geographical areas. In this paper, a new scheme, based on path prediction and resource reservation, is proposed to reduce the handoff latency by trying to eliminate the link setup time for fast handoff in all-IP wireless networks. Analytical results show that the proposed scheme offers shorter handoff delay and can improve the handoff efficiency.

무선 인터넷의 급속한 성장에 힘입어, 사용자들은 다양한 무선 인터넷 환경을 통해 멀티미디어 서비스 등의 IP 서비스에 보다 쉽게 접근할 수 있게 되었다. IP 기반의 네트워크 통합을 도모하는 4G 네트워크에 대한 관심이 증폭되면서, 이러한 다양한 무선 네트워크 환경을 어떻게 통합하여 관리할 것인가에 초점이 맞추어져 왔다. 이에, 이종 네트워크를 지원하는 다중 모드 단말의 이동성 관리를 보장하기 위한 공통 접속 모듈(CCM: Common Connection Module)이 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는, 공통 접속 모듈을 기반으로 동작하는 이동 단말들의 관리와 더불어, 이종 네트워크 상에서 단말의 이동성을 제어할 수 있는 네트워크 관리 시스템인 Network Controlled Mobility Management System (NCMMS)을 소개한다.

An IP address plays both endpoint identifier and location identifier in wire based network. However, one IP address can not provide both endpoint identifier and location identifier for mobile Internet environment such as cellular network and portable Internet. To resolve this problem, mobile IPv4 and mobile IPv6 technologies are developed. These technologies are based on the concept of separation the endpoint identifier from location identifier. This paper describes some results of the recent studies such as mobile IPv4, mobile IPv6, host identify protocol and so on. Also, we propose the criteria to decide which technologies are suitable for deployment in the practical network environment.

본 연구에서는 음성 및 데이터 단말의 로밍이 VoIP 호의 품질에 미치는 영향을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션으로 분석하였다. MIPv4와 MIPv6에 상관없이 최대 용량의 VoIP 호가 진행중인 상태에서 한 단말의 로밍이 시작되면 무선구간 다운링크에서 재전송이 증가하게 되어 모든 VoIP 호의 품질이 급격히 최저수준으로 저하되었다. 또한 로밍해서 진입하게 된 셀에서도 최대용량의 호가 진행중인 경우에는 모든 호의 품질이 급격히 저하되므로 로밍서비스를 하는 경우에는 일종의 호수락 제어의 필요성이 제기된다. 데이터 트래픽의 경우에 로밍해서 들어가는 쪽의 품질이 더 많이 저하되었다.

4세대 이동통신 시스템인 LTE에서는 음성 서비스를 제공하기 위한 코어 망이 존재하지 않으며, IP 기반의 패킷 코어망으로 통합되었다. 따라서, 음성 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 VoIP 방식이 도입되어야 하지만, LTE 초기에는 서비스 커버리지의 불연속성 등으로 3세대 네트워크의 음성 서비스 코어망을 통하여 일시적으로 음성 서비스를 제공하게 된다. 그러나, 향후 LTE 네트워크가 본격적으로 확산될 경우 고품질 음성 서비스를 위하여 필연적으로 VoIP 방식으로의 전환이 불가피하다. 본 논문에서는, 향후 본격적으로 상용화가 예상되는 VoLTE 서비스의 용량을 분석한다. 분석 결과에 따르면, LTE에서는 채널 대역폭 증가 비율 대비 VoLTE 용량 증가 비율이 높음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, VoLTE 용량 감소 없이 제어 채널용 자원을 늘릴 수 있는 방안이 존재함을 확인하였다.
