Now many major airports in the world which operate strategic alliance or Hub & Spoke system have met capacity restriction and confusion problems. And the time and the walking distance for boarding to flight are important standard to measure customer convenience. And the effective gate assignment guarantees customers convenience as well as increasing airport capacity without expanding established airport equipments. So it can be a major concern to manage airports. So this paper formulate gate assignment problem in the hub airport not quadratic assignment problem but a improved single-period integer problem which is minimize local and transit passengers I walking distance. As a result, this study will present a method producing optimal gate assignment result using optimization software. We use real flights and gates data in the national airport, so we will compare a assignment results with a real airport assignment results and previous researches and analyze those results.

After it first opened in 2001, Incheon International Airport (IIA) has grown into a world-class airport, leaving remarkable traces, such as being the first airport to win the ASQ Airport Serivce Price for 10 consecutive years. However, ever since its birth IIA has tried to position itself as the leading hub airport of Northeast Asia. Until this day, it has not been meeting this goal, with transfer passenger numbers and transfer rates decreasing recently. This study looks at the outer environment to discover which factors affect IIA's transfer market. Through extensive research on external analysis, the study will eventually provide a counter strategy guideline for fighting back against decreasing transfer usage.

2018년 국토교통부의 통계에 따르면, 연평균 항공교통이용자만 국내선 5.07%, 국제선 8.84%가 증가하였다. 한류의 열풍으로 인해 지속적인 외국인 관광객의 수요가 증가하고 있다. 동시에 개인의 삶의 질을 중요시하는 새로운 생활 문화가 자리잡아가고 있으며 이와 더불어 저가 항공사의 출현으로 인해 내국인의 해외 관광 또한 증가하고 있다. 따라서 효율적이고 정확한 항공 수요예측을 진행하여 체계적인 공항 인프라를 조성하는 것이 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 빅 데이터(big data)를 기반으로 하여 도심권 공항의 국내선 및 국제선 장기 수요예측을 진행하였다. 국내선의 경우 2028년 이후 인구 감소에 따라 공항이용객이 다소 감소할 것이며, 국제선은 GDP증가에 따라 지속적으로 증가할 전망이다. 따라서 미래의 항공수요에 대처하기 위해서는 국내 공항의 여객터미널 개선 및 확충이 절실하다.

Purpose: The performance of global major airports is evaluated and several research questions are examined relative to the measures characterizing airport performance. Methods: The two-stage internal structure of airport performance is considered by decomposing it into physical operations and revenue generation. In the physical operations stage, operating costs, number of runways, terminal area and number of employees are used as inputs, while passenger throughput, cargo throughput and aircraft movements are taken as outputs. Subsequently, in the revenue generation stage, the outputs from the preceding stage are taken as inputs, while revenue is used as output. Results: Based upon this two-stage modeling of airport performance, a multiplicative two-stage network data envelopment analysis model is employed to calculate the overall and stage efficiencies of 59 airports using the recent data in the 2014 Airport Benchmarking Report published by the Air Transport Research Society. Several internal and external factors are also considered such as airport size, airport geographical location, proportion of international passengers, ownership (listed or not) and management style, and statistical analysis is performed to examine their impacts on airport performance. Conclusion: It is shown that the airports exhibit statistically significant difference across regions, and also some statistically significant factors affecting airport performance are identified.

인천공항은 대한민국으로 들어오거나 나가는 관문으로 나라의 이미지에 큰 영향을 미치므로 공항의 서비스 질을 유지하기 위해선 장기적인 공항 이용객 수 예측이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 인천공항의 이용객 수요를 예측하기 위한 다양한 시계열 모형의 예측성능을 비교하였다. 인천공항 이용객 자료를 2002년 1월부터 2019년 12월까지 월 단위로 수집하여 살펴보면 일반적인 시계열자료에서 보이는 추세성과 계절성을 지니고 있다. 본 연구에서는 추세성과 계절성이 고려된 나이브 기법, 분해법, 지수 평활법, SARIMA, 그리고 PROPHET을 이용하여 단기, 중기, 장기예측 시계열모형을 비교하였다. 분석결과 단기예측은 최근 자료에 가중치를 준 지수 평활법이 우수했고 예상 2020년 연간 이용객 수는 약 7,350만명이다. 3년 후 인 2022년 중기예측은 정상성이 고려된 SARIMA모형이 우수하였고 예상 연간 이용객 수는 약 7,980만명이다. 4단계 인천공항 건설사업이 완료되는 2024년 예상 연간 여객수용 인원은 9,910만명이고 PROPHET모형이 가장 우수하였다.

본 연구는 공항여객터미널 일반구역에서 재난상황 발생에 대한 대응능력을 향상하기 위한 기초적인 연구로서, 공항비상계획과 재난 발생 시 항공사 지상직원의 비상대응 실태를 조사하였다. 첫째, 공항비상계획은 한국의 김포공항과 일본의 국토교통성의 공항피난계획을 조사하여, 국내 공항비상계획이 구체적이지 않음을 확인하였다. 둘째, 체크인카운터에서 근무하는 항공사 지상직원 100명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 결과 응답자의 69%가 재난상황에서 본인의 역할을 인지하지 못하고 있었으며, 90%가 비상대응에 관한 교육을 받지 않았고, 98%가 일반구역에서의 재난훈련을 받지 않았다. 교차분석을 통해 근속연수가 근무하고 있는 공항의 체감안전도와 재난발생 시 역할인지에 유의미한 결과가 확인되었다. 따라서 향후 공항여객터미널 일반구역의 재난현장 대응능력 향상을 위한 공항 비상대응계획의 개선과 항공사 지상직원에 대한 재난대응 강화 교육 및 훈련을 진행할 것을 제언한다.

The passenger security screening is a mandatory procedure for boarding the aircraft according to ICAO standard as well as national law of each country. The enhanced threat of terrorism have had the security procedure strengthened since 9/11 events. However the effectiveness of passenger screening is not satisfactory and the service level for passenger is getting worse because of tightened security measurements. This research studied the responsibility issue for the enhancement of the effectiveness and service quality in passenger security screening. The study concluded that a desirable responsibility assignment for passenger screening is to the airport authority at normal time and to the government authority at the time of high threat.
