An Empirical Analysis on the Mediating Role of Marketing on Customer Satisfaction Focused on the Aviation Service (항공서비스에서 고객 만족에 대한 마케팅 조절 효과 분석)

  • World aviation market has been expanded every year caused by improvement of economic level quality of individual life, increase of the development of tourist industry. Aviation companies have compete to develpe the service program for the maintaining of sustainable choice by customer and develop the market share. This study aims to suggest customer service strategy which is based on the relations between satisfaction by providing a differentiated service quality. This paper is focusing on the investigation with the mediating role of commitments on customer satisfaction in Aviation company. For this purpose, we do literature reviews, develop research model and conduct an empirical research. The literature review covers theoretical discussion on customer satisfaction and core variables for hypothesis setting. This analysis shows the airline service factors have a positive effect on the customers' satisfaction and re-choice intention. And it is necessary to improve airlines' systematic management and strategic development on airline service factors for better airlines' customer service.

  • In service industries, it is very hard to transform the quantified factor into qualified one. Nowadays, however, service industries employee various methods developed by the academic society to manage effectively. Therefore, we have focused our research on QFD that is applied to improve the flow of execution in customer complains in Air Lines which can be considered as the representation of Service Industries. QFD is a method of developing new service with response to the demand from customer thanks to the application of QFD. In this paper we decide the priority of the department for executing the customer service of Air Lines. After setting up the relations among departments, we analyze the problems caused by the contact between customers and departments.

  • Purpose - Leadership style is an important factor in determining the attitude and behavior of employees and their satisfaction with an organization. Contributing the efficiency of an organization, Especially, servant leadership focusing on meeting employees' hopes and desires positively affect success of the organization and performance of employees. In the airline service industry it is necessary to conduct studies for an internal marketing on servant leadership that emphasizes the trust in the dignity of humans and spirit of service to subordinates as a factor affecting the job satisfaction. Research design, data, and methodology -Therefore, in this research, it is empirically analyzed that employees' perception of a supervisor's support plays mediating role in the relationship between employees' perception of servant leadership and perception of an organization's support using multiple and hierarchal regression analysis targeting 243 employees working in D Airline. Result - As a result, Employees' employees' perceived supervisor's support mediates the relationship between employees' perceived servant leadership of a supervisor and employees' perceived organizational support. Conclusions - This study suggests that the servant leadership of a supervisor perceived by employees constitutes an important preceding variable in enhancing the employees' perception on organizational support.

  • Purpose: This study attempted to analyze how the ego state of flight attendants affects their job satisfaction and customer orientation using Berne's (1966) transactional analysis and further compare the difference between job satisfaction and customer orientation depending on demographic characteristics, position, and ego state. Methods: The data was collected by using the structured questionnaires to flight attendant of major airline companies. The proposed research model is tested using 164 valid questionnaires using SPSS 23 and Smart PLS 2. Results: This research indicated the only free child ego sate among ego state factors of flight attendant was found to have a positive impact on job satisfaction. In the relationship between ego states and customer orientation, all ego state factors were found to have a significant influence on customer orientation. Conclusions: The study offered a theoretical and empirical foundation for future research by empirically identifying the relationship between ego state factors and customer orientation in the in-flight service and suggested the strategic implications to increase job satisfaction and customer orientation based on the psychology and ego state of flight attendant.

  • As the service industry develops, service quality, customer satisfaction, and human resource management are considered priorities in modern management to maintain a company's growth. Therefore, understanding the strategic importance of service marketing is an essential task for modern companies. This study examined the relationship between the internal service quality of employees in the organization and customer orientation through organizational effectiveness. In the case of an airline, a service can be defined as an interaction between an external customer and an internal customer service provider. This interaction significantly affects the behavior and attitude of the employees. Based on the results, empowerment has a significant influence on the internal service quality, but it has no significant effect on customer orientation. As the relationship between department and employees improved, the more confident staff showed an improved ability to perform their work. Therefore, it is important that the organizational structure and the reporting system are as concise and clear as possible to allow employees to accurately recognize the authorities and responsibilities assigned to them and have autonomy and discretion in the framework.

  • The purpose of the research was to examine how the quality of service provided by the employee and KARST dealing with the quality of the systems and the information systems affect the satisfaction of the users. Second purpose was to find out which of three factors play greater or lesser roles in affecting the customers of the KARST by examining customer satisfaction and the causal relationship between them so that it can aid in finding areas that need to be further developed or improved when designing and operating airports as well as improve customer service by KARST employees.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to propose useful suggestions by analyzing causal effect relationship between quality of followership, perceived style of leadership, job satisfaction and team commitment in the aviation industry. Methods: For the analysis of this study, a survey was conducted on local flight attendant. A total of 364 surveys were collected and 336 effective samples were used for analysis. And the collected data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling. Results: The results of this study were as follows : First, In the relationship between quality of followership and perceived leadership styles, independent thinking has a positive effect on all six sub-factors of transformational and transactional leadership and active engagement has negative influence on all six sub-factors of transformational and transactional leadership. Inaddition As a result of total and direct and indirect effects, Idealized Influence of perceived leadership style indirectly influences between Quality of Followership and job satisfaction, Idealized Influence, Inspirational Motivation, Intellectual Stimulation, Individualized Consideration, Contingent Reward of perceived leadership style have been shown to have indirect effects on team Commitment Conclusion: Based on the characteristics of followers and the type of leadership, it is necessary to develop ways to develop job satisfaction and team commitment of airline crews. In addition, flight attendant act as leaders and followers of each other depending on their work characteristics. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the relationship between leadership and followership based on the results of this study.

  • Based on the hyper-connectivity of the 4th Industrial Revolution, the paradigm shifts to the sharing economy. Didichuxing has already dominated the platform and is expanding its service to the TaaS 3.0 mobility industry. This paper aimed to suggest the direction of the domestic car-sharing industry and service improvement plan by analyzing Didichuxing. Korea is being cut off from the car-sharing industry, due to conflicts with existing industries and high regulations. It is necessary to balance the protection of existing industries and fostering new industries in the direction of negative regulations. In the future, it is also necessary to study how various fields of the sharing economy will convergence and develop.

Study on Experience of Industrial Accidents and Awareness Level for Beauty Product Safety of Beauty Industry Employee (미용업 종사자의 사고재해 경험 및 사용제품의 안전 인식도에 관한 연구)

  • This study compared data regarding industrial accidents and awareness level for beauty product safety for four main parts of beauty industry such as hair-care, nail-care, skin-care, and make-up. Major risk factors in beauty industry are dust, musculoskeletal disorders, and organic solvent of beauty product in order of percentage. The specific types of industrial accidents in beauty industry are mainly associated with musculoskeletal system such as cuts, sprain, and varicose vein. They are mainly compensated by personal budget. The awareness levels of chemical and heavy metal containment for beauty product by beauty industry employee were 77.2% and 59.1% respectively. Most employee confirmed only important items of labelling requirement of beauty product. Also, most employee did not understand MSDS(Materila Safety Data) for chemicals used in beauty industry. Only 38.1% of beauty industry employee has had safety education while most employee (73.6%) realized that they needed safety education. Also, safety education supervised by KOSHA(Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency) was the most preferred. This study would be good basis for safe and healthy working environment of beauty industry employee.

Effect of Cabin Attendants' Job Stress on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment and Turnover Intention in the Airline Service (항공사 객실승무원의 직무스트레스 요인이 직무만족과 조직몰입, 이직의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the causal relationship between cabin attendants' job stress level and job satisfaction, organization commitment and turnover intention in the airline service industry. The study was done by conducting a questionnaire research. 215 questionnaires were distributed to cabin attendants of airlines, and 198 questionnaires of which are utilized for data analysis. The collected questionnaires were analyzed using spsswin 12.0 and Amos 5.0 statistical package for the empirical and statistical analysis. The conclusions were as follows: Firstly, cabin attendants' job stress level had significant negative impact on job satisfaction, but the organization commitment seemed to have a positive impact on overall job satisfaction level. Secondly, job stress didn't affect cabin attendants' organization commitment. The result of the study indicates that there needs to be various way implemented by airline management to dissolve the airline's cabin attendant's overall job stress, in order for the attendants to be satisfied with their job and consequently preventing a high turnover rate in the cabin attendant crew. Finally, the limitations of the study and directions for the future research are presented.
