Social survey and auditory experiment on residential noises such as floor impact, air-bome, bathroom, drainage and traffic noises were conducted to investigate the effects of sensitivity and background noise levels on subjective response to residential noises. Results of survey showed that multiple questions for sensitivity to noise have a more power for discrimination against subjective response to noise than single question. It was also found that the correlation between sensitivity and annoyance was relatively low, but the differences in annoyance between sensitivity groups were significant. Result of auditory experiment showed that effects of sensitivity on annoyance were different according to noise type and noise level. It was also shown that the difference in annoyance between the lowest sensitive stoup and the highest sensitive group was significant in low noise level. The effects of background noise on subjective responses to noise was also different according to noise source and noise level, and were significant in low noise level of airborne and drainage noise.

Koh Chang Island is located near the east border of Thailand. The government of Thailand promotes the island as a model of eco-tourism spots. The Island undeveloped until recent years, is expected to change to major tourist attraction. 'Digital Koh Chang project' has thus. The main objective of this project is to monitor the environment and land use status of the island and to support its sound development. In March 2003, a field survey of this project was planned and field data were collected using both airborne and ground platforms and an ocean vessel. These data were combined with satellite data in the laboratory. This presentation is all balloon-born system field operation. A 5-meter length balloon filled with Helium gas was used, whose payload consisted of two RGB standard color digital still cameras, two directional rotating servo motors, a camera mount cradle as well as signal transmitting and receiving components. A series of aerial high-resolution digital images were rather easily obtained using this inexpensive system, making it possible to monitor intended landscape features in a specific field. Design of simple, low-cost and easily transportable flying platforms and local field surveys using them are useful for getting local ground truth data to calibrate satellite or airborne-based RS data. The design analysis to upgrade the system is further investigated.

Due to the recent technical development and the enhancement of image resolution, Unmanned Airborne Vehicles(UAVs) have been used for various fields. A low altitude UAV system takes advantage of taking riverbed imagery at small rivers as well as land surface imagery on the ground. The bathymetric data are generated from the low altitude UAV system. The accuracy of the data is analyzed along water depths, comparing GPS observations and a DSM generated from UAV images. It is found that the depth accuracy of the geospatial data below 50 cm depth of water satisfies the regulation(${\pm}10cm$ spatial accuracy) of bathymetric surveying. Therefore this research shows that the geospatial data generated from UAV images at shallow regions of rivers can be used for bathymetric surveying.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate airborne radon and thoron levels and estimate the effective doses of workers who made household goods and mattresses using monazite. Methods: Airborne radon and thoron concentrations were measured using continuous monitors (Rad7, Durridge Company Inc., USA). Radon and thoron concentrations in the air were converted to radon doses using the dose conversion factor recommended by the Nuclear Safety and Security Commission in Korea. External exposure to gamma rays was measured at the chest height of a worker from the source using real-time radiation instruments, a survey meter (RadiagemTM 2000, Canberra Industries, Inc., USA), and an ion chamber (OD-01 Hx, STEP Co., Germany). Results: When using monazite, the average concentration range of radon was $13.1-97.8Bq/m^3$ and thoron was $210.1-841.4Bq/m^3$. When monazite was not used, the average concentration range of radon was $2.6-10.8Bq/m^3$ and the maximum was $1.7-66.2Bq/m^3$. Since monazite has a higher content of thorium than uranium, the effects of thoron should be considered. The effective doses of radon and thoron as calculated by the dose conversion factor based on ICRP 115 were 0.26 mSv/yr and 0.76 mSv/yr, respectively, at their maximum values. The external radiation dose rate was $6.7{\mu}Sv/hr$ at chest height and the effective dose was 4.3 mSv/yr at the maximum. Conclusions: Regardless of the use of monazite, the total annual effective doses due to internal and external exposure were 0.03-4.42 mSv/yr. Exposures to levels higher than this value are indicated if dose conversion factors based on the recently published ICRP 137 are applied.
This study analyzes the key factors of 3D spatial information in accordance with the establishment of aerial and ground equipment fusion, and the quality improvement solutions are delivered from the preference survey. Furthermore, it investigates the factors affecting the quality of the individual technical elements through the establishment of three-dimensional spatial information. It is for identifying the priority which needs to be improved, and this data will be used to identify the evaluation for factors, the technology development and its application. For this purpose, the presence or absence of equality is judged by the quantitative techniques through the preference survey of the gap between the experts of spatial information and survey and the general users who have experiences on 3D spatial information.

Shoreline changes its shape and attribution dynamically by natural, unnatural acts and is the most important information for defining a countries territory. These shorelines can apply to frame work of MGIS, and they are getting important because we can implement the data for creating monitoring systems around coastal areas. This study proposed an algorithm for extracting shorelines automatically using a new developed Lidar data which is applied in ocean and coastal areas. Its result was compared to shorelines which were derived from ground survey. It showed stable shorelines in both natural, and artificial coast areas. It showed the possibility of extracting shorelines with LiDAR data and proved the method was more efficient and economical compared to recent studies and methods.
While in the past map-making process by field survey devices such as MicroStation needs more time relatively, we can make more precise map effectively with airbone LiDAR and GPS devices. Also the data, captured by LiDAR, are very large in size and so it needs to use Relational DBMS to manage and process LiDAR data. In this study we propose how to store and manage LiDAR data using RDBMS.

Aim of this research was to classify forest types at Wando in Jeonnam Province and develop warm temperate forest management system with application of Remote Sensing and GIS. Another emphasis was given to the analysis of satellite images to compare forest type changes over 10 year periods from 2009 to 2019. We have accomplished this study by using ArcGIS Pro and ENVI. For this research, Landsat satellite images were obtained by means of terrestrial, airborne and satellite imagery. Based on the field survey data, all land uses and forest types were divided into 5 forest classes; Evergreen broad-leaved forest, Evergreen Coniferous forest, Deciduous broad-leaved forest, Mixed fores, and others. Supervised classification was carried out with a random forest classifier based on manually collected training polygons in ROI. Accuracy assessment of the different forest types and land-cover classifications was calculated based on the reference polygons. Comparison of forest changes over 10 year periods resulted in different vegetation biomass volumes, producing the loss of deciduous forests in 2019 probably due to the expansion of residential areas and rapid deforestation.
Temperature and humidity data collection using real-time sensors and data loggers was conducted for integrated pest management in the collection storage and exhibition space of the Jeongnimsaji Museum, Buyeo. The real-time temperature and humidity monitoring system collected measurement data every 30 minutes and enabled real-time confirmation of the data through a linked application. If the temperature and humidity data measured in the real-time temperature and humidity monitoring system exceeds the set range, a push notification was sent to the mobile phone of the person in charge to provide status information to establish a continuous management system. Through this, it was possible to immediately recognize and take action when the temperature range exceeded the recommended relic temperature in August. We performed data visualization on the concentration of airborne fungus in the storage area and the inflow path and density of insects. Based on the recommended criteria presented by the National Institute of Cultural Heritage, The data on the spatial and temporal concentration of airborne fungus inside the collection storage were found to be maintained at a value below the standard recommended by the National Institute of Cultural Heritage (80 CFU/m3). Also, as a result of the insect inflow survey, no insects were captured inside the storage area, and in the case of the exhibition space, insects such as Scutigera coleoptrata, Loxoblemmus arietulus, Diestrammena asynamora, Koreoniscus racovitzai were captured. Based on this, as a result of visualization according to the individual density of captured insects by area, it was confirmed that the main inflow paths of insects were the external entrance and the toilet area.

Data leveling utilizing baseline survey makes existing old data be smoothly compiled, and also keep characteristics of data, such as small high frequency anomaly information. The previously proposed leveling method may easily loose or damage the original characteristics of the data. This paper suggests a new leveling method. New method determines the leveling coefficients using regional field of the original data, which is composed by data on the grids point coincided with baseline survey grid, while existing method uses all grid data without any considerations. Results of new leveling method on test area shows that new method make two data sets compiled more smoothly and trends of data distribution expressed more clearly. And then, it also preserves high frequency information well.
