Peltier module의 구조적 안정성 확보에 관한 연구 (Study on the Peltier Module to Insure the Structural Stability)

  • Electric power is generated by Seeback Effect if there is thermal difference in pettier module. Peltier module is composed by alumina, Bi-Te semiconductor and insulation (or air). If load is increased in pettier module, the alumina of module will be destroyed. One of the preventing method of module destruction is using damper between module and heat source. But the electric Power is dropped because of decrease of thermal difference, if thermal conductivity of damper was tourer than other thermoelectric materials. We design, Polymer Pad for enhancing thermoelectric porter. As the result of these experiment, Polymer Pad is more superior than the Rubber in the stability and thermal conduction.

  • This study have processed the developing of vane damper with accurate control by using gear which is a flow-control equipment of marine boiler's FD fan on this research. For the developing of vane damper, we have corrected some problem from welding & assembly process by changing the design, and for the case of an emergency case, we have applied the easy disassembly & assembly on that vane damper. Compared to Rink type vane damper in current, we have focused on high efficiency with low price of that new developing damper. For selection of actuator, we have tried to find the propriety with our developing focus. Also, we have developed a jig of assembly processing for high productivity with quality, it caused the best assembly performance with heat-treated & processed parts.

  • As a secondary suspension, the air spring has not good lateral stiffness characteristics. In order to make up for this weak point, lateral damper is used between bogie and carbody. The lateral vibration of carbody can be reduced by the lateral damper. When the damping force of lateral damper becomes worse, the running stability and ride comfort of the railway vehicle go down. Simultaneously the lateral motion of carbody is increased. In this study, the lateral displacement of carbody was studied by the multibody dynamic analysis in accordance with lateral damping force to find the cause of abnormal noise(impact noise) when the vehicle is running. The suitable lateral damping force was reviewed in order not to generate abnormal noise.

  • 탄성회전축을 위한 실제적이고 효과적인 댐퍼를 개발하기 위하여 4개의 새로운 스퀴즈 필름 댐퍼들이 실험적으로 연구되었다. 이들 중에서 원통형 부쉬 댐퍼가 가장 효과적인 것으로 선택되었고 볼베어링으로 지지된 실험 회전축에 적용되었다. 이러한 회전축은 위험속도를 지나서 안정된 운전이 관찰되었다.

  • The systematic results of anti-rolling tanks tests obtained by bench tester and roll test in towing tank have been examined. The effects on the oscillating period of fluid transfer through the duct of U-tube tank due to damper plates and the effects on roll damping moment of the tank due to swash plates are alto evaluated from the results. A simple control algorithm for a forced fluid transfer in U-tube tanks if devised to active operation of the tank by air blower. The active performances of the tank are confirmed very effective through the tank tests carried out in the irregular waves.

  • The objective of this study is to detect the multi-fault of HVAC system using a new pattern classification technique. To classify the effect of single-fault in determining the pattern, supply air temperature, OA-damper, supply fan, and air flowrate were chosen as experimental parameters. The combination of supply temperature, flow rate, supply fan and OA-damper were chosen as multi-fault conditions. Three kinds of patterns were introduced in the analysis of multi-fault problem. To solve multi-fault problem, the new pattern classification technique using residual ratio analysis was introduced to detect the multi-fault as well as single-fault. The residual ratio could diagnose single-fault or multi-fault into several patterns.

혹한기 결빙 방지를 위한 열회수형 환기장치 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Heat-Recovery Ventilator for Preventing Freezing in a Cold Weather)

  • 본 연구는 혹한기 결빙 방지를 위한 열회수형 환기장치의 개발에 관한 연구로써, 개발에 필요한 내부 리턴 댐퍼를 최적화하여 적용하기 위하여 전산유체해석(Computational Fluid Dynamics)을 수행하였고 이를 바탕으로 실험을 위한 시제품을 만들어 혹한기 결로 및 결빙실험을 수행하였다. 배기 재순환 비율이 최대가 되는 최적의 내부 리턴 댐퍼를 설계하기 위하여 총 16 model의 전산유체해석을 수행하였다. 전산유체해석 결과 외기에 대한 배기 재순환 비율은 59.9% ~ 62.3%로 나타났다. 외기온도(Outdoor Air Temperature)가 $-15^{\circ}C$ 이상에서는 배기 재순환 운전과 통상 운전 모두 결로와 결빙이 발생하지 않았다. 그러나 외기온도가 $-20^{\circ}C$에서는 내부 리턴 댐퍼를 $45^{\circ}$ 열어 배기 재순환 운전을 하여야 결로와 결빙이 발생하지 않았다. 혹한기 결빙 방지를 위한 열회수형 환기장치는 외기온도에 따라 통상 운전 모드와 배기 재순환 운전 모드의 두 가지 운전모드로 운전하여야 한다. 외기온도가 $-15^{\circ}C$보다 높을 경우에는 통상 운전 모드로 작동하고 외기온도가 $-15^{\circ}C$보다 낮을 경우에는 재순환 운전 모드로 작동하는 열회수형 환기장치의 운전 알고리즘을 개발하여 적용하였다.

수밀댐퍼 구동장치의 강인제어에 관한 연구 (Design of a Robust Controller for a Watertight Damper Driving System)

  • Semi-submersible drilling rigs are offshore plants that perform functions such as ocean exploration for oil and gas acquisition, drilling and production, and storage and unloading of crude oil and gas. Semi-submersible drilling rigs use watertight dampers as emergency buoyancy holders. Since the watertight damper is an emergency shutoff device, it is mainly driven by a pneumatic driving system that can operate without a power supply. The pneumatic driving system has highly non-linear characteristics due to compressibility of air and external disturbance such as static and Coulomb friction. In this paper, a new control algorithm is proposed for a watertight damper driving system based on the sliding mode control with a disturbance observer. To evaluate control performance and robust stability of the designed controller, the control results were compared with the results obtained using the state feedback controller. As a result, it was confirmed that the pneumatic driving system for driving the watertight damper using the sliding mode controller with a disturbance observer can obtain excellent control performance against the parameter changes and the disturbance input.

전열교환 환기시스템의 운전 상태에 따른 결로 발생에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Dew Condensation According to the Operational Conditions of a Heat-Recovery Ventilator)

  • Heat-recovery ventilators are being adopted in most newly built apartment houses for energy reduction and indoor environment improvement. In winter, however, the dew condensation resulting from the difference between the indoor and outdoor temperatures may reduce the ventilator's performance and threaten the health of indoor residents. This study analyzes the occurrence of dew condensation according to the ventilator's operational conditions and the changes of temperature and products. The experimental results show that condensations is formed at $26^{\circ}C$ and 60%R.H, which is an unfavorable climatic condition, and when the damper is not closed tightly. Therefore it is important to ensure damper performance to prevent back flow.

CFD를 이용한 열회수형 환기장치 운전에 따른 혹한기 공동주택의 실내 열환경 검토 (A Study of the Indoor Thermal Environment in Apartment Buildings in Freezing Weather Operation of Heat Recovery Ventilator by CFD Simulation)

  • In Korea, it is the law that an apartment building which consists of over 100 households must have a ventilation system installed, either natural or mechanical. The heat recovery ventilator (HRV) is great way to reduce energy consumption. In this research we confirmed that based on site's construction plan and existing diffuser form, performed purpose CFD which simulates operation in temperatures below $-5^{\circ}C$ to circumstances of installation of an HRV in an apartment. As a result of this research we found that when the diffuser's aperture area was adjusted, the distribution of air temperature and residence time of air was more equally distributed and air temperature was higher, compared to when the diffuser has an identical aperture area. We also found that we are able to increase even more air temperature and air distribution of air temperature and residence time of air was even more equally distributed when run in parallel with a splitter damper.
