Beech mushroom (Hypsizygus marmoreus) is one of the most popular mushrooms in Japan, China, and Korea because of its delicious taste, nutritious value, and unique crunchy texture. In 2018-2019, unusual signs on the mushroom were observed in mushroom farms in Gyeongnam Province. The main signs were the inhibition of mycelial growth and primordial formation on the surface of mushroom media. When green mold caused contamination at early stage, the rate of pinhead formation by the mushroom greatly decreased to 46.5-71.5%. Conidia of the causal green mold were ellipsoidal, dark green, and measured 2.0-3.1㎛ long. The optimum temperature for mycelial growth of the green mold was 25℃. The phylogenetic tree obtained from the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) rDNA sequences showed that the isolated green mold corresponded to Penicillium brevicompactum (100.0%). This is the first report of green mold contamination caused by P. brevicompactum on H. marmoreus.

This paper aims to analysize the regional disparity of rural life service. In other words, analyzing the spatial distribution of the single-households elderly and service accessibility to public transportation, and the relationship between them in rural. The results of this study are as follows. First, there is a high concentration of the single-households elderly in Gyeongsangbuk-do and Jeollanam-do, and the distribution of them shows a tendency to cluster locally. Second, the vulnerability area of public transportation are concentrated on the myeon area. Third, The above-average proportion of vulnerable single-households elderly in Gyeongsangbuk-do and Jeollanam-do are concentrated on the myeon area. This result show that there is a positive correlation and high values are concentrated. This paper is expected to contribute to the regional development projects and effective implementation of rural polices.

Pleurotus ferulae is an edible mushroom found on a medicinal plant, Ferula assa-foetida, in centeral China. This study was carried out to investigate the cultural characteristics of P. ferulae strains. Characteristics of mycelial growth were investigated for 5 strains of P. ferulae. All the 5 strains showed the best mycelial growth at $25^{\circ}C$ and their growth rate was very low at $35^{\circ}C$. The colony diameter reached to 45~72 mm after 7 days at $25^{\circ}C$. Malt extract agar medium was the best for mycelial growth of the species both in hyphal length and density. Mycelial growth was not affected by various pH from 6.0 to 8.0. An optimal carbon source was arabinose and an optimal nitrogen one was arginine. And an effective substrate for the mycelial growth was 8 to 2 mixture of oak sawdust and cottonseed meal.

Service quality in local festivals is a crucial for visitors satisfaction. The study aims to identify the factors to influence visitors satisfaction in local festival. A field survey was used to collect data from 206 visitors to the Yesan Apple Festival in South Korea. The results showed that the program and products, staff, and landscape factors could significantly has a significant on visitors' overall satisfaction, whereas facility factor don not influence significantly. The study suggested that festival managers should allocate their marketing resources for the program and products, staff, and landscape factors to increase the visitors' perception of service quality. This study encourages festival managers to provide high level of festival quality to consider extension effects of the festival experiences from long-term perspectives.

This study analyzed the feasibility of custom work service to deal with the imbalance of farm labor supply due to population aging. The economic feasibility analysis is based on the case of Bonghwang-myeon in Naju-si, where the majority of farm work is entrusted to local agricultural cooperative. To assess the project profitability and economic feasibility based on the projected cash flow for the next ten years, Return On Investment (ROI), Net Present Value (NPV), and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of the projects were calculated. The results showed that ROI is estimated at 13.7%, and NPV and IRR are KRW 1,504,932,000 and 15.6%, respectively, with a discount rate of 4.5%, indicating a good enough profitability. Furthermore, a sensitivity analysis with government support as part of an assumption showed that without the support, NPV turns negative, implying that the project is not profitable, and that government support for at least 30% of the cost is needed to secure the economic feasibility of a project. Hence, to promote agricultural work entrustment, it is necessary for the government to partly support the agricultural machinery and facility costs, which require a considerable amount of initial investment.

The purpose of this study was to investigate development derections for upbringing young success farmers. The study was carried out through literature review and questionnarie survey. Total of 400 young success farmers were surveyed to collect data, and 394 responded. For deveolpment directions of upbringing young success farmers, this study suggests; 1) to increase investment of agricultural management and marketing, 2) to postpone the time to payback and to lower the loan rates, 3) to enlarge consulting service in agricultural extension organizations.

Training power tiller operators in safe farming is necessary to avoid farming accidents. With the continuing progress in computational technology, driving simulators have become increasingly popular for conducting such training. Purpose: The objective of this study is to develop mock control devices and data acquisition apparatus for a tiller simulator. Methods: Except for the stand and tail wheel adjusting levers, the mock control devices were developed using a tiller handle assay. The data acquisition apparatus was realized using an embedded data-logging device and LabVIEW, the system design software. Results: The control devices of a real handle assay were successfully mimicked by the mock operator control devices, which used sensors for the relevant measurements. The data from the mock devices were acquired and transmitted to the main computer at intervals of 10 ms via Wi-Fi. Conclusions: The developed mock control devices operate similar to real power tillers and can be utilized in power tiller training simulators.

The objectives of this study were to identify present status of services for upbringing young farmers, and to suggest development directions for upbringing full-time young farmers in Korea. The present status of services for upbringing full-time young was not sufficient, and needed to be improved. The future development directions suggested by the researchers were : 1) to build integrated upbringing service policy ; 2) to systematize upbringing services ; 3) to share the roles of institutions that concerned with the service ; and 4) to reinforce and coordinate activities of various organizations for upbringing full-time young farmers.

This study aims to develop the living SOC function index and classified classes using the GIS-based spatial analysis method by applying the "Central Place Theory" as basic data for classifying living areas necessary for establishing rural spatial strategies in Boryeong. Boryeong-si is classified as a southern living area in the northern living area, centering on Daecheon-dong, the first class, and it is analyzed that living services such as used car service procurement and education are needed, and the southern living area needs a mid- and high-vehicle service delivery system in Ungcheon-eup. It is believed that this study can provide important clues to the classification of central functional facilities suitable for rural centers, reinforcement of vulnerable functional facilities by living area, and provision of living services.

This study was carried out aiming to provide information and enhance the satisfaction of real-time smartphones users on Rural Amenity Resources Information Services. For this purpose, domestic and international discussions and surveys on technology developments and expert analysis smartphone technology were reviewed. And empirical data were collected from 600 people through structured questionnaires including smart-phone experience, smartphone usage behavior, the required content, service items, service quality, Through this information, the content of rural amenity resources, how to take advantage of smart phones. Service Plan and developed, and a rural village locations to target mobile phone technology, the content was established. Through the preference analysis of the collected data, we designed the contents of rural amenity resources information based on smart-phone. It will be helpful to enhance the interchange between urban and rural such as farmer's market and rural tourism.
