밭토양에서 챔버 위치와 작물체 유·무에 따른 아산화질소 배출량 차이 분석 (The Differences of Nitrous Oxide (N2O) Emissions as Crop Presence and Location of Gas Sampling Chambers in Upland)

  • Nitrous oxide is one of the main sources of greenhouse gases and its concentration has increased from 273 ppb in 1,750 to 315 ppb in 2005. Specially, nitrogen fertilizer used in agricultural soils is considered as an important source of atmospheric $N_2O$ emission. This study was conducted to estimate the difference of nitrous oxide emission as chamber position on furrow and ridge and crop existence in gas sampling chamber on upland. Four treatments used in this experiment were (1) no-fertilizer without crop in chamber on ridge, (2) fertilizer application without crop in chamber on ridge, (3) fertilizer application with crop in chamber on ridge, (4) fertilizer application without crop in chamber on ridge and furrow. Nitrous oxide emission at fertilizer application with crop in chamber on ridge were the highest while were the lowest at no-fertilizer without crop in chamber on ridge. There was no significant difference of nitrous oxide emission by chamber position, but total emission by crop existence in chamber was significant difference. Therefore, in order to estimate greenhouse gases emission using chamber method in upland, it should be considered in correlation with crop existence in chamber and characteristic changes like as the soil moisture, microbial flora by crop growth stage.

서울 강남지역 채소류 경작지의 토양 중 잔류농약 실태조사 (Monitoring of Residual Pesticides in Agricultural Land from the Southern Area of Seoul)

  • 본 연구는 강남일부(강남구, 강동구, 송파구)지역 시설재배지에서 시기별 잔류농약의 오염 실태를 파악하고자 하였다. 각 지역에서 2010년 4월부터 2011년 6월까지 토양시료 60 점을 채취하여 시료 중 농약 잔류량을 다성분 동시 스크리닝 분석법으로 분석하였다 시설재배지 잔류농약 조사결과, endosulfan 0.002-0.999 mg/kg, procymidone 0.002-1.200 mg/kg, diazinon 0.003-0.024 mg/kg, metalaxyl 0.012-0.075 mg/kg로 검출되었다. 시설재배지 토양의 잔류농약 모니터링 결과 검출빈도가 높게 나타난 endosulfan을 대상으로 참나물, 상추에 대하여 흡수 이행 정도를 조사하였다. 강남구 지역의 토양에서 잔류농약을 검사한 결과 endosultan이 0.445 mg/kg로 잔류하였고, 이 토양에서 참나물을 60일 재배 후 잔류농약 검사를 실시한 결과 endosulfan 0.157 mg/kg로 잔류하여 토양 대비 참나물 중 endosulfan 이행률은 35.3%를 보였다. 또한 강동구 지역의 토양에서 잔류농약을 검사한 결과 endosulfan이 0.358 mg/kg로 잔류하였고, 이 토양에서 상추를 60일 재배 후 상추 중 잔류농약 검사를 실시한 결과 endosultan 0.004 mg/kg로 잔류하여 토양 대비 endosulfan 이행률은 1.1%를 보였다.

광역친환경농업단지 조성사업에 대한 생산자 인식실태 및 만족도 분석 (An Analysis on Farmer's Awareness and Satisfaction Level of the Project for Developing Large-Scale Environment-Friendly Agricultural Districts)

  • The Purpose of this paper is to analysis on farmer's awareness and satisfaction level of the project for developing large-scale environment-friendly agricultural districts (LSEAD). To analysis farmer's awareness and satisfaction level, a series of farm household surveys were conducted on farmers, take part in the project for developing LSEAD. The sample size of the survey is 80 respectively. As a survey result, awareness and practical use of facilities & equipment shows a little different outcome. Satisfaction level of the project for developing LSEAD is summarized as follows. Influence on disposal of livestock excretions and farmer's consciousness change appears 4.47 and spreading environment-friendly agriculture 4.44, distribution of environment-friendly agricultural product 4.33, and demand of environment-friendly agricultural materials 4.04. In order to sustainable development of LSEAD, a governance system should be established.

Bacillus subtilis 균주의 기능성 분석 및 이를 활용한 고추 흰가루병 방제 (Functional Analysis of Bacillus subtilis Isolates and Biological Control of Red Pepper Powdery Mildew Using Bacillus subtilis R2-1)

  • 지자체 농업기술센터와 농과원에서 수집한 18개의 Bacillus subtilis 균주들이 보유하고 있는 기능성을 구명하기 위하여 항균활성을 비롯한 사이데로포아 생산, 질소고정능력, 인산가용화 능력 및 오옥신 생성능력을 조사하였다. B. subtilis 균주들은 대부분 입고병균(R. solani), 고추 탄저병균(C. acutatum), 채소류 시들음병균(F. oxysporum), 벼도열병균(M. oryzae), 고추 역병균(P. capsici)에 대하여 항균활성을 보였다. 대부분의 균주가 Siderophore와 오옥신 생성능력을 보였으며 질소고정능력도 함께 보유하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 인산가용화능은 조사한 Bacillus 속 균주 중 단 한 균주에서 활성을 보였다. 대부분의 B. subtilis 균주가 고추 흰가루병 억제효과를 보였으나, 균주 간에는 방제효과에 있어서 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다. B. subtilis R2-1균주의 농업현장에서의 활용 가능성을 구명하기 위하여 2009년도에 강원도 화천의 유기재배농가에서 오이 흰가루병 방제용 미생물 농약으로 등록되어 사용되고 있는 '큐펙트'와 '탑시드'를 대조로 하여 방제효과를 검정하였다. 2009년도에 B. subtilis R2-1 처리시 방제효과는 37.7%로 '탑시드'(47.6%)보다는 낮았으나, '큐펙트'(25.7%)에 비해서는 높았다. 2010년도에는 B. subtilis R2-1의 고추 흰가루병 방제효과가 83.3%로 미생물 농약인 탑시드 보다도 높게 나타났다. B. subtilis R2-1균주의 발병억제 기작을 구명하기 위하여 B. subtilis R2-1균주와 미생물 농약(탑시드, 큐펙트)을 경엽 처리한 후 포자발아율을 계수한 결과, 미생물 농약인 큐펙트는 97.9%, 탑시드는 94.7% 억제하는데 비해서 B. subtilis R2-1균주는 84.2% 억제하는 것으로 나타났다. 앞으로 B. subtilis R2-1을 고농도로 배양할 수 있는 대량배양기술을 개발하고 항균활성 기능이 잘 발현되도록 제형화한다면 생물농약으로의 개발이 가능할 것으로 사료된다.

한국 친환경농업단지의 왕우렁이 월동 및 분포특성 (Distribution Characteristics and Overwintering of Golden apple snails, Pomacea canaliculata (Gastropoda:Ampullariidae) at the Environment-friendly complex in Korea)

  • BACKGROUND: Recently, the golden apple snail, Pomacea canaliculata has been used as an environmentally-friendly weed-control agent in rice farming. Although effective for this particular style of farming, P. canaliculata can be destructive to other crops. The objective of this study was to identify overwintering as well as regional and seasonal distribution characteristics of P. canaliculata. Notably, winter is typically fatal for P. canaliculata. However, owing to increasing average global temperatures, we assessed the ability of P. canaliculata to survive through uncharacteristically warm winters. METHODS AND RESULTS: To examine the distribution and overwintering regions of P. canaliculata, We conducted a survey from April 2020 to May 2021 on environmentally-friendly rice fields, agricultural waterways, and streams in 23 cities belonging to 8 provinces. In addition, because air temperature may influence the distribution density of P. canaliculata, we analyzed the winter temperature data (http://weather.rda.go.kr). CONCLUSION(S): In 2021, overwintering of P. canaliculata (1-3 individuals/m2) was observed in the Goheung and Yeongam regions in Jeonnam. Overwintering of P. canaliculata was observed in fewer regions in 2021 than in 2020; this fact may be attributed to the lower minimum temperatures measured in 2021 (approximately 8℃ lower) than those in 2020. Our results suggest that overwintering occurs as long as overnight temperatures are ≥ -15℃, but can take place if temperatures are as low as -19℃.

선형계획법과 허프확률모형을 이용한 농촌마을 중심지와 배후지 분석 (Analysis of Central Place and Hinterland using Linear programming and Probability Model of Huff)

  • Although some indicators for evaluating rural settlement conditions have been offered, these indicators could not reflect unique characteristics that rural has its own peculiarities. The rural area is identified with central districts functioned as service provision and hinterlands used its service. The aim of this study is to find a central district of rural villages and define range of its hinterlands using various physical characteristics of rural areas. Targeting areas are Yongsan and Hwanggan in Yeongdong-gun. The physical characteristics are represented by building density, number of shops among secondary and tertiary industries, official land price, and density of bus line. The rural central district is estimated by linear programming using defined the physical characteristics. Also its hinterlands used Huff model and social accessibility. The results of this study are as follows; (1) The physical characteristics in Hwanggan myeon is higher than Yongsan myeon because Hwanggan area has a large floating population for using Hwanggan station and ticket office; (2) The central district in Hwanggan has wider regional range than Yongsan. When central district estimate in rural areas, we suggest a grid diameter of Hexagon for controlling errors; (3) Considering accessibility, the life zone of 4 districts defined legally in Hwanggan use Yongsan and 2 legal districts in Hwanggan are possible to take advantage of Yongsan's life zone; (4) The results of survey targeting boundary villages between Yongsan and Hwanggan, individual drivers use central districts both Yongsan and Hwanggan, however users by public transportation (especially bus) go more to Hwanggan because bus lines to Hwanggan have many routes than to Yongsan. Evaluating the rural settlement conditions by national unit through grasping central districts and its hinterlands, these results can use as base line data and the evidence for regional development projects.

자외선 조사에 의한 고춧가루 중 잔류농약 제거효과 연구 (Removal effect of residual pesticides in red pepper powder by UV irradiation)

  • 고춧가루에 잔류되어 검출 빈도가 높은 농약인 Endosulfan(${\alpha}$-, ${\beta}$-체) Cypermethrin, Fenitrothion, Hexaconazole, EPN을 고춧가루에 인위적으로 오염시킨 뒤 365, 254 nm 파장에서 조사거리와 조사시간을 달리하여 잔존률을 조사하여 자외선 조사로 인한 농약의 제거효과를 알아보았다. 365 nm의 경우 조사거리 20 cm, 조사시간이 5분일 때 ${\alpha}$-Endosulfan 73.4%, ${\beta}$-Endosulfan 69.6%, Cypermethrin 60.8%, Fenitrothion 92.7%, Hexaconazole 73.8%, EPN 90.5%의 잔존률을 나타내었으며, 254 nm의 경우 조사거리 5 cm, 조사시간 36시간 일 때 ${\alpha}$-Endosulfan 74.6%, ${\beta}$-Endosulfan 64.5%, Cypermethrin 71.1%, Fenitrothion 79.1%, Hexaconazole 79.4%, EPN 64.7%의 잔존률을 나타냈다.

상승온도에 의한 담수토양의 미생물상 및 화학성 변화 (Responses of Soil Chemical Properties and Microbiota to Elevated Temperature under Flooded Conditions)

  • 본 연구는 상승온도가 벼재배나 볏짚 및 요소 투입과의 복합작용을 통해 토양미생물에 미치는 영향에 대한 평가를 하였다. 상승온도에 의해 토양이화학성이 부분적으로 영향을 받았으며, 이러한 환경변화는 토양미생물에 간접적인 영향을 줄것으로 판단된다. 온도가 전체 토양미생물 밀도에 미치는 효과는 크지 않았으며, 방선균만 온도의 증가로 감소하였기 때문에 미생물 군집구성이 온도변화에 의해 부분적으로만 영향을 받았다는 것을 보여준다. 또한, 벼 재배에 의해 전체 PLFA 수치가 1.3배 증가하였다는 것은 식물이 토양미생물에 크게 영향을 미칠 수 있는 인자라는 것을 의미한다. 따라서 이러한 미생물 밀도 및 군집 변화가 물질순환이나 토양의 기능성에 미치는 영향에 대한 추가적인 검토가 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

Characteristics of UAV Aerial Images for Monitoring of Highland Kimchi Cabbage

  • Remote sensing can be used to provide information about the monitoring of crop growth condition. Recently Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology offers new opportunities for assessing crop growth condition using UAV imagery. The objective of this study was to assess weather UAV aerial images are suitable for the monitoring of highland Kimchi cabbage. This study was conducted using a fixed-wing UAV (Model : Ebee) with Cannon S110, IXUS/ELPH camera during farming season from 2015 to 2016 in the main production area of highland Kimchi cabbage, Anbandegi, Maebongsan, and Gwinemi. The Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) by using UAV images was stable and suitable for monitoring of Kimchi cabbage situation. There were strong relationships between UAV NDVI and the growth parameters (the plant height and leaf width) ($R^2{\geq}0.94$). The tendency of UAV NDVI according to Kimchi cabbage growth was similar in the same area for two years (2015~2016). It means that if UAV image may be collected several years, UAV images could be used for estimation of the stage of growth and situation of Kimchi cabbage cultivation.
