We present an explicit form for a class of definite integrals whose special cases include some definite integrals evaluated, over a century ago, by Cahen who made use of an appropriate contour integral for the integrand of a well-known integral representation of the Riemann Zeta function given in (3). Furthermore another analogous class of definite integral formulas and some identities involving Riemann Zeta function and Euler numbers En are also obtained as by-products.

This paper deals with the methods as well as the problems associated with automatic extraction indexing and assignment indexing, expert systems for indexing, and major approaches currently used to index the Internet resources. It also briefly reviews basic methods for establishing hypertext/hypermedia links automatically. The methods used in much of text processing today are not particularly new. Most of the them were used, perhaps in a more rudimentary form, 30 or more years ago by Luhn and many other investigators. Better results can be achieved today because much greater bodies of electronic text are now avaliable and the power of present-day computers allows the processing of such text with reasonable efficiency.

As recent as 10 years ago, a method of developing new medicine was developed by a new compounding method moving away from an existing one. Combinatorial chemistry made it easier to combine various kinds of compounds in a very short time and with little effort from existing methods. Through combinatorial chemistry, a number of compounds were synthesized using HTS(High Throughput Screening), with many reports reaching a clinical stage in search of new candidate material. Caves abd the life they contain face constant pressure from a worldw demand for cement. hydro-electric power and land for building a agriculture. The 8th International Congress of Speleology held in Kentu two years ago passed a resolution on behalf of the IUCN "Cave Speci Group" which called for "...biological surveys of threatened caves. mos in the tropics, and ecological studies to solve specific managem provlems on the causes of endangerment and how these can be remov or mitigated". This final article in the "Cave Life" series explains the n for an ecological approach to cavelife conservation.

Congenital bronchoesophageal fistula is a rare anomaly that can appear in adult uncommonly. Especially sick sinus syndrome with bronchoesophageal fistula is very uncommon.The patient was 53 years old male who admitted for chronic coughing recurrent lobar pneumonia on RLL since few years ago. And he had familial history of sick sinus syndrome.We confirmed the fistula by barium swallow examination and performed ligation of the fistula and pacemaker implantation.

Disposable nonwovens entered the medical field over four decades ago, beginning with basic paperlike face masks and proceeding through sterilization wrap, specialty drapes and gowns. These medical nonwovens have proven to be invaluable in products ranging from drape sheets to surgical gowns to adult pads and underpads by utilizing a gamut of nonwoven structures. The combining of nonwoven technologies has enabled the industry to offer products with properties hitherto though impossible.(omitted)

A large size flat panel LCD-TV must fulfill different requirements than a desktop LCD-monitor: The contrast must be much larger, the viewing angle should be as wide as possible and the switching times must be shorter to allow moving pictures to be displayed naturally. The "Vertically Aligned" technology is most promising to realize such a product. LC-material development for this technology began at Merck about 10 years ago. New materials based on the 1,1,6,7-tetrafluoroindane skeleton were recently synthesized via ortho-metallation and intramolecular Heck cyclization followed by an oxidative fluorination procedure. The materials offer improved properties over liquid crystals currently employed in flat panel LCD-TVs.

Pseudolite (PL) is a kind of signal generator, which transmits GPS-like signal at the ground. However our own made PL is different from a GPS satellite in clock accuracy. GPS satellites are synchronized by use of high precision atomic clocks. But because our PLs use low cost temperature controlled oscillators (TCXO), so it is very difficult to synchronize them. Hence, we should install reference station and use Differential GPS (DGPS) algorithm to calculate user position. By use of this method, we already developed indoor navigation system a few years ago. We named it as 'Asynchronous Pseudolite Indoor Navigation System'. However, this system requires that sampling times of all the receivers...

Since the discovery of quasars about a half century ago, it has been an open question what triggers supermassive black holes at the center of galaxies. I will talk about AGNs and their host galaxies in the context of galaxy assembly and evolution. In particular, I will focus on the fundamental, but unanswered question whether black holes play a key role in galaxy evolution from my personal perspective.
