Agent Negotiation-based Online Ticket Resale Model (에이전트 협상기반의 온라인 티켓 재판매 모델)

  • This study has tried to suggest a new model that can effectively redistribute the tickets in the online ticket resale market, while suggesting a new allocation mechanism based on an agent negotiation. To this end, this study has analyzed and simulated the secondary ticket market through System dynamics. As a result of these simulations, it has been proved that the price stability of ticket resale market leads to an increase in revenue. An agent negotiation helps to stabilize the ticket prices that are usually inclined to rise at auction, benefiting all the participants in the negotiations, consequently showing a Pareto solution.

  • We address an access control in the mobile agent-based workflow system. The Role Based Access Control (RBAC) is suitable to model the access control for business processes. However, current RBAC models are not adequate to mobile agent-based workflow system. Because separation of duties becomes complicated and it is impossible to perform several workflows at the same time. To solve these problems, we limit the scope of privilege within the specified task. We define considerations, specification of constraints needed in RBAC when tasks are involved. Also, we present an access control scenario and algorithms in the mobile agent-based workflow system.

  • Recently, many people are interested in the intelligent system that connects human and computers. And the studies on the intelligent agent system that can manage computer user s diverse requirements are now being accelerated. En this paper, we study the modeling of intelligent avatar system that can provide the user more convenient and user-friendly environments by adopting intelligent avatar agent, and it can be applied to various fields. Modeling of intelligent avatar agent is accomplished and part of it is experimentally implemented, and it showed successful results in the field of avatar agent, mail check functions, and scheduler.

  • In this paper, we propose protective coordination and automatic setting method using agents for distribution system with loop. The proposed protection scheme adopts an agent technology assuming communication among protection agents and auto-switch agents. Having exchanged fault-related information with each other, protection agents and auto-switch agents perform the primary and backup protection and fault section isolation, respectively. this proposed scheme using agents for distribution system with loop is implemented by matlab. Because of the various configuration of distribution system, It's difficult to find cooperative agents for each agent. This paper develops a program to automatically set the cooperative route for the agents.

  • The object of this research is to develop a simulation system for earthmoving operations in consideration of the impact of congestion in-between equipment and existing traffic flow around the site. The congestion in-between equipment and traffic flow affect work productivity. The conventional discrete event simulation, however, has limitations in simulating the flow of construction equipment. To consider the impact of congestion in-between equipment and existing traffic flow, in this paper, a multi-agent based simulation model that can realize characteristics of truck behavior more accurately to consider the impact of congestion was proposed. In this simulation model, multiple agents can identify environmental changes and adapt themselves to the new environment. This modeling approach is a better choice for this problem since it describes behavioral characteristics of each agent by sensing changes in dynamic surroundings. This study suggests a detailed system design of the multi-agent based simulation system.

  • Survivability of combat system is changed by various facts in dynamic battle field. Existing survivability analysis programs for a combat system analyze statically survivability for combat system in spite of dynamic battle environment. To overcome this limitation, we propose an agent-based modeling and simulation method for dynamic survivability analysis of the combat system. To do this, we have adopted DEVS formalism, SES/MB framework and agent technology for modeling components of the combat system and crews. The proposed method has advantages of being able to analyze not only a static survivability of the combat system but also a dynamic survivability of combat system by applying responses of crews in battle field.

  • Along with the rapid emergence of the Internet and e-commerce, online auctions are hitting the spotlights. The inconveniences found in off-line auctions, such as time and place restriction and limited number of items, are solved in the online auction. However, not so many auction sites have integrated auction information systems, which monitor the present status of auctions, resulting in greater inconvenience for the online auction users. Moreover, there is no auction site that suggests the appropriate starting or closing price that is useful for users when they make, their bids, What the online auction users need is an auction system that can solve such problems. This study is purported for solving the problems by designing and implementing a real time auction system that applies the comparison search functions and the agent functions. In other words, an integrated database system using a bidder-oriented agent for providing information is built so that the users can search and compare the information on the item they are interested in and make a faster and more accurate purchase. Also the appropriate starting and closing prices are offered to the sellers and bidders through the integrated system for a closer and more accurate comparison and analysis of the prices. For future work, the product recommendation service, which accurately reflects the bidding patterns, and the methods for studying the multi bidding pattern will be applied to the suggested system to realize a real time auction information system that supports CRM(Customer Relationship Management) .

  • In real-time strategy simulation (RTS) game each team is composed of agents and executes strategies to win other team. Strategy needs agents' cooperation in each team. This needs multi-agent system (MAS). Centralized decision making, one of decision making in MAS, selects actions not to agents but to team by a coordinated agent. Decentralized decision making costs high because each agent communicates with each other. In this paper we propose a system which controls agents by grouping and allocates roles through negotiation by a coordinated agent. Then, when one of allocated actions is not executed or failed, a coordinated agent allocates its role to another agent. We make experiments in starcraft, famous RTS game. When a proposed method is applied, the performance of attack and defense is increased. The improved agents' team wins eight times per ten games.

  • E-commerce customers can reduce purchasing cost by the help of comparison shopping agents that collect price information of products in the shopping malls. However, user expects a software agent that can recommend product information satisfying various purchase conditions besides price. In this paper, we present a MAS (multi-agent system) which retrieves and recommends book information suitable for various user needs to realize an agent-based E-Commerce. We implemented and tested our MAS to help on-line bookstore customers. From the results, we could provide E-commerce customers various book purchase conditions for several online bookstores in real-time.

  • A multi-agent technology has emerged as new paradigms that can flexibly and promptly cope with various environmental changes and complex problems. Accordingly, many studies have been carried out to establish multi-agent systems in an effort to solve dynamic problems in many fields. However, most previous research on the multi-agent frameworks aimed at, on the behalf of a user, exchanging and sharing information among agents, reusing agents, and suggesting job cooperation in order to integrate and assimilate heterogeneous agents. That is, their frameworks mainly focused on the basic functions of general multi-agents. Therefore, they are not suitable to the development of the proper system for a specific field such as a negotiation. The goal of this research is to design a multi-agent framework for the negotiation system that supports the evaluation of the negotiation messages, management of the negotiation messages, and message exchanges among the negotiation agents.
