Previous findings on Social Loafing indicated that Social Loafing explained the organizational commitment, that the lower level of Social Loafing they had, the higher performance they would have, and that it is a useful index for effectiveness of the organization. This study explored the Police Organizational culture & Organizational Commitment on Social Loafing. The Police officers' Police Officer's Organizational culture & Organizational Commitment and Social Loafing has been measured, and then how Organizational culture & Organizational Commitment affects Police Officer's Social Loafing has been examined. The study results may be used as a theoretical basis to assert the need of Organizational culture & Organizational Commitment to decrease the Police Officer's Social Loafing. Independent variable is Police Officer's Social Loafing and Dependent variable is comprises 2 categories; Police Organizational culture(The group culture, The hierarchical culture, The developmental culture, The rational culture), & the Organizational Commitment(Affective Commitment, Continuance Commitment, Normative Commitment). The result of analysis showed that The group culture & Normative Commitment influenced in Social Loafing(positive), and The Rational culture, Affective Commitment, & Continuance Commitment in Social Loafing(negative).

This study investigated the relationship between nurses' Career Commitment and Organizational Commitment, and the moderating effect of individual career-related characteristics (age, tenure, position, number of department change, number of hospital change) on the relationship between career commitment and organizational commitment. The sample for this study consisted of 594 nurses from 8 large Korean hospitals. And the factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, multiple regression analysis and two-way ANOVA were used for the statistical methods. Research was found that (1) career commitment and the two dimensions of organizational commitment(affective and transactional) were validated as distinct concepts for Korean nurses. (2) career commitment showed positive influence on the two dimension of organizational commitment, (3) all individual career-related characteristics did not moderated the effect of career commitment on affective commitment, but (4) number of career department change and of hospital change among career-related characteristics moderated the effect of career commitment on transactional commitment. Theoretical and practical implication of these result were discussed in the conclusion.

The purpose of the study is to determine how organizational culture affects employees' organizational commitment in Vietnamese clothing enterprises. Quantitative research through a questionnaire survey was applied in this research. A Survey of employees of Vietnamese garment companies in Hanoi was conducted from May 2021 to August 2021. The questionnaire was built from reference to previous studies and transferred to Google form. 315 returned questionnaires were usable. The statistical software SPSS 20.0 was used to test the reliability of the scale (Cronbach alpha), exploratory factor analysis (EFA), and regression analysis. The Organizational culture is constructed by 8 components including Organizational Communication, Training and development, Reward and Recognition, Teamwork orientation, Decision-making, Innovation and risk-taking, Direction and future planning, and Leader behavior. Organizational commitment is constructed by 3 components such as affective commitment, continuance commitment and normative commitment. Findings show that organizational culture has a strong impact on organizational commitment in Vietnamese garment companies. Research provides recommendations on developing a good organizational culture through forming suitable leadership, effective organizational communication, training and development, reward and recognition, and a clear direction and future planning to enhance employee commitment to the organization and increase the garment company's performance in the future.

Purpose : This research is, by investigating the relations between the cultural types of a nursing organization in a hospital and performance, to ascertain the cultural types to be able to improve performance. Method : The data were gathered from 487 nurses and 328 patients who were in eight general hospitals by using the self-report type of questionnaires. The period of data collection was from August 10, 2000 to September 10, 2000. For this research, the following tools were used; the tools for measuring the organizational characteristics, organizational culture, and job satisfaction, the tool for measuring organizational commitment, and the tool for measuring patients' satisfaction. For data analysis the SPSS Win 7.5 program was used. Result : 1) There was a significant difference in the organizational culture type according to the establishment type of hospital. 2) In the relationship between organization characteristics and organizational culture of a hospital were correlated with the type of each culture(p=0.00). 3) In the relation between the organizational culture type of hospital and its performance, there was a strong positive correlation between innovation-oriented culture and job satisfaction. And relation-oriented culture and task-oriented culture showed that they had a weak positive correlation with job satisfaction(p=0.00). There were a positive correlation between affective commitment and relation-oriented, innovation-oriented cultures(p=0.00), and there were no culture type significantly related to continuance commitment and there was a weak positive correlation among normative commitment and innovation-oriented culture, relation-oriented culture(p=0.00). 4) The types to have an influence upon nurses' job satisfaction were innovation-oriented culture and relation-oriented culture. These had 34.5% of influence with job satisfaction.. The type of organizational culture did not influence continuance commitment, but it had an influence on affective commitment and normative commitment. And relation-oriented culture and innovation-oriented culture had 21% of an influence with affective commitment, and they had 9.5% of an influence with normative commitment. Conclusion : As the above mentioned research results, the organizational culture type was found which had an influence upon nurses' job satisfaction and organizational commitment and patients' satisfaction in nursing service. These results are very significant in having showed the persons in charge of nursing administration a basic data for creation of an effective organizational culture.

This study aims to suggest proper types of leadership that can enhance organizational commitment by examining differences in recognition of department head leadership style. This research is to find out what kind of leadership type is the most efficient to make member committed to their organization among transactional leadership and transformational leadership. To following consequences are gained through this analysis. First, as to the types of department head leadership, the average of transformational leadership was higher than that of transactional leadership. Second, the result of this research indicates the positive impact of transformational leadership affect organizational commitment without continuance commitment at IT departments. But, at non-IT departments, all organizational commitment is affected by transformational leadership. Third, transactional leadership affects affective commitment at IT departments. But, transactional leadership may not affect affective commitment at non-IT departments. Finally, transactional leadership may not affects normative commitment at IT departments, but at non-IT departments.

This study, the effect of organizational culture perceived by millennial Naval Personnel working on naval ships on organizational citizenship behavior was empirically analyzed. First, it was found that OC(group/hierarchy) had a positive effect on OCB. Second, affective commitment plays a mediating role in the relationship between OC(group/hierarchy) and OCB. It was confirmed that organizational culture has a direct effect on OCB, but also indirectly through affective commitment. Third, Coworker social loafing had a negative moderating effect in the relationship. Therefore, in order to improve organizational citizenship behavior, it is necessary to improve a balanced organizational culture suitable for changes in the organizational environment, Strengthen the key influencers for organizational members to affective commitment themselves in the organization, and promote improvement in social loafing.
Although there have been continued researches on the effect of fatigue among organization members on organizations, there has been an absence of studies on sub-factors of organizational commitment using Saito(1999)'s whole questionnaire. Therefore, this study aimed to measure the level of fatigue among police officers and empirically examine the effect of fatigue on organizational commitment. Based on the previous studies, fatigue(mental fatigue and physical fatigue) of police officers and physical disharmony were selected as independent variables, and organizational commitment(affective commitment, continuance commitment and normative commitment) was selected as a dependent variable. The meanings and the implications of this study are as follows. First, from a theoretical perspective, this study has significance as the first study, which used Saito(1999)'s whole scale and examined the relationship between sub-variables of organizational commitment in a police organization. This study also confirms the importance of fatigue management for organization managers. Second, from a perspective of organization management, this study implies that effort should be made to measure fatigue of police officers, who have 5 to 10 years of service and work as Senior patrol and sergeants and manage it actively on an organizational level, and there is a need to develop a training program for improving their attitudes towards organizations.

The study aims were to verify the influences of job environment factors and work attitude on turnover intention of school foodservice employees, and then to verify the mediating effect of organization commitment between six areas of worklife and turnover intention so that organizations can intervene to reduce the turnover intentions of employees. The subjects were 205 employees who were working in the school foodservice field. The job environment factors were measured by six areas of worklife (workload, control, reward, fairness, community, value) and the organizational commitment was measured by two types of commitments (affective, continuance). The results were as follows. First, workload, reward, community and value of six areas of worklife reduced affective commitment, control and fairness increased continuance commitment, and affective commitment reduced turnover intention. Second, only reward and community showed direct effect on turnover intention, but all six areas of worklife had a statistically significant indirect effect on turnover intention through affective commitment. These results showed that job environment factors had both direct and indirect effect on employees' behavior through employees' affection. These findings imply that organizations can control employees' turnover intention by providing education or social support to maintain their affective commitment even when organizations cannot change job environment.
Purpose: This research aims at determining institutional commitment impact and how it influences job satisfaction. It aims at bridging the gap in research on the study topic. Its major focus is on work content and institutional commitment as the main variables and how they impact companies and employees. Research design, data and methodology: The current research has chosen the literature content approach and it is a reporting guideline for methodical assessments. It offers a consistent approach for conducting and reporting these types of studies, which can help to improve the quality and transparency. Results: The finding of the current research has showed that workers in social companies need jobs with higher values and responsibilities, company policy, among other factors. Workers' organization commitment towards social enterprise for improving workers' job satisfaction factors will include affective commitment, continuous commitment, normative commitment, and the commitment profile of the organization. Conclusions: This research finally insists that the findings of the current research would aid in enhancing employee knowledge and understanding of work satisfaction, as well as the essence of institutional commitment. Most employees lack adequate knowledge of the implications of job satisfaction not forgetting their personal needs as indicated in the individual need model.

There is growing attention towards the performance of non-profit organizations (NPO) as cases of moral hazard have emerged as social issues and the public becomes interested in the accountability of NPOs. Social welfare is among the representative service areas of NPOs, and it is regarded as a human service because it is delivered by people. Therefore, human capital-measured by criteria such as levels of organizational commitment-significantly affects the performance of social welfare organizations. However, these organizations have a high turnover rate due to inadequate working environments, heavy workloads, intensive work, and poor remuneration. Against this background, we surveyed social welfare organizations located in Busan and examined how workers' organizational commitment affects their turnover intention and the performance of the organization. For data analysis, SPSS WIN 18.0 was used, and variable-specific frequency analysis and technical statistics were used to identify general properties. A Pearson correlation analysis and a multiple regression analysis were conducted to investigate correlations and causal relationships among main variables. The results showed that the social workers' level of organizational commitment was 3.36 for normative commitment, 3.07 for continuance commitment, and 2.75 for affective commitment. The level of normative commitment was slightly higher than moderate, continuance commitment was close to moderate, and affective commitment was lower than moderate. The surveyed social workers' turnover intention was 2.71, and organizational performance was 2.79; both of those results were slightly lower than moderate. It was observed that affective commitment, marital status, workload, and age affected social workers' turnover intention. Their affective commitment, gender, and age affected the organization's performance. These results suggest that, for launching or operating an NPO, it is important to manage human capital effectively, particularly their affective commitment, to lower workers' turnover intention and improve organizational performance.
