The Disaster planning for the reservoir should be more quickly and intuitively establish measures by means of the sequential monitoring of change status of the reservoir water level and water surface area. This paper presents an approach using the orthophoto image produced by the periodic unmanned aerial photogrammetry and analyzed the feasibility. Total three time of unmanned aerial survey were conducted to make orthophoto images for the Seongnae reservoir and we analyzed the amount of changes for water level and surface area compare with each images. As the Analysis results, it was possible to effectively observe the increase in the water level rises and the surface area due to the rainfall. The maximum deviations of orthophoto images was 7.5cm in X-direction, 10.8cm in Y-direction and 14.1cm in elevation compare with ground surveying results. Therefore, we conclude that the unmanned aerial photogrammetry could be applied with comprehensive reservoir monitoring works for disaster management for reservoir in the future. And, the orthophoto production takes about two hours to shoot the images, and approximately four hours is considered for the image processing. So, the unmanned aerial photogrammetry is considered to be the best disaster work that requires urgent because analysis is possible in the shooting day.

Unmanned aerial vehicles(UAV) photogrammetry provides a cost-effective option for collecting high-resolution 3D point clouds compared with UAV LiDAR and aerial photogrammetry. The main objectives of this study were to (1) validate the accuracy of 3D site model generated, and (2) determine the differences between Digital Elevation Model(DEM) and Digital Surface Model(DSM). In this study, DEM and DSM were shown to have varying degree of accuracy from observed data. The results indicated that the model predictions were considered tend to over- and under-estimated. The range of RMSE of DSM predicted was from 8.2 and 21.3 when compared with the observation. In addition, RMSE values were ranged from 10.2 and 25.8 to compare between DEM predicted and field data. The predict values resulting from the DSM were in agreement with the observed data compared to DEM calculation. In other words, it was determined that the DSM was a better suitable model than DEM. There is potential for enabling automated topography evaluation of the prior-harvest areas by using UAV technology.

The National Geographic Information Institute of Korea takes digital aerial photograph images every two years to make and modify/renew the digital map. The cameras for aerial photogrammetry to capture these digital aerial photographs are divided into frame types and line types. Computer vision analysis of aerial photograph images was only possible for frame type. Thus, in this study, Line type aerial photograph images was intended to generate geospatial information through computer vision analysis, and forest geospatial information was created as a method for the utilization of aerial picture images. As a result, geospatial information generated by computer vision analysis of line type aerial photograph images showed that RMSE of horizontal and vertical position errors was less than quadruple that of GSD. Forest geospatial information was generated using geospatial information generated by computer vision analysis. It was confirmed that extraction of the crown of tree and calculation of tree height are possible. Through this study, it is expected that utilization of aerial photograph images will be improved.

The automatic land category extraction method was proposed, and the accuracy was evaluated by learning the aerial photo characteristics by land category in the border area with various restrictions on the acquisition of geospatial data. As experimental data, this study used four years' worth of published aerial photos as well as serial cadastral maps from the same time period. In evaluating the results of land category extraction by learning features from different temporal and spatial ranges of aerial photos, it was found that land category extraction accuracy improved as the temporal and spatial ranges increased. Moreover, the greater the diversity and quantity of provided learning images, the less the results were affected by the quality of images at a specific time to be extracted, thus generally demonstrating accurate and practical land category feature extraction.

Emergence of high-resolution digital aerial cameras and airborne laser scanners have made innovative progress in photogrammetry and spatial information technology. The purpose of this study is to generate true orthoimage by recovering occlusion areas. The orthoimages were generated patch-based transformation. The occlusion areas were mutually corrected by using multiple aerial images. This study proposed a novel method of building roof based orthoimage generation and an effective method of occlusion area detection and recovery. The proposed methods could be efficient to generate true orthoimages in urban areas where occlusion areas are problematic.

The vertical photographs of the existing production role of aerial photogrammetry was sufficient for the purpose. The current variety of purposes, such as image maps are used. However, a 3-D stereoscopic mapping, three-dimensional modeling and obtaining the side information of objects are difficult with limitations. In this study, aerial polyhedral oblique imagery are used for obtaining the a vertical and the side information of buildings at the same time to get used to the urban information. The results of this study, various urban information was available, the existing vertical photos can overcome the limitations of the techniques.

Recently the development of digital based measurement sensor with which a variety of surveying equipment and methods are being developed. In the field of aerial mapping using GPS, INS and Digital Camera instead of Film based Camera. In case of aerial photogrammetry for mapping, it is effective on wide area. But it is ineffective on narrow area. Therefore, the research experimented that used LiDAR sensor based mobile mapping systems for modify and update about region of Suwon and Yeouido. From these results a possibility and an effectiveness analyzed and evaluated LiDAR sensor based mobile mapping systems.

Facility management system has been studied recently due to its increasing demand. As a starting step it is necessary to create 3-D shape of the facility. In this study, we attempted to create 3-D shape of the buildings by fusing the raster and vector information. the raster information comes from stereo aerial photographs and the vector information comes from the existing 2-D digital map. GPS surveying and data conversion using ACAD and ARCINFO also performed to extract building height from stereo aerial photographs. Finally we could be able to perform semi-automatic 3-D building modeling with fusion of two sources of information.

This study presents the application of aerial photographs and KOMPSAT-1 Electro-Optical Camera(EOC) imagery in detecting the change of an urban area that has been rapidly growing. For the study, we used multi-time images which were acquired by two different sensors. For all of the images, the coordinate reference system and scale were first made identical through the 1st and 2nd geometric corrections and then image resampling were carried out to spatial resolution of 7m to detect changes under the same conditions. The Image Differencing was employed as a change detection technique. It was confirmed to be able to detect the changes of terrestrial surface like building, structure and road features from aerial photos and KOMPSAT EOC images with single band. The changes could be detected to some extent with the images acquired from different kinds of sensors as well as the same kinds of sensors.

Nowadays the aerial photos is using to get the information around our spatial environment and it increases by geometric progression in many fields. The aerial photos need in a simple object such as cartography and ground covey classification and also in a social objects such as the city plan, environment, disaster, transportation etc. However, the shadow, which includes when taking the aerial photos, makes a trouble to interpret the ground information, and also users, who need the photos in their field tasks, have restriction. This study, for removing the shadow, uses the single image and the image without the source of image and taking situation. Also, this study present clustering algorism based on HIS color model that use Hue, Saturation and Intensity, especially this study used I(intensity) to extract shadow area from image. And finally by filtering in Fourier frequency domain creates the intrinsic image which recovers the 3-D color information and removes the shadow.
