  • For analyzing and prediction of economic trends, it is necessary to collect particular economic news and stock data. Typical Web crawler to analyze the page content, collects document and extracts URL automatically. On the other hand there are forms of crawler that can collect only document of a particular topic. In order to collect economic news on a particular Web site, we need to design a crawler which could directly analyze its structure and gather data from it. The wrapper-based web crawler design is required. In this paper, we design a crawler wrapper for Economic news analysis system based on big data and implemented to collect data. we collect the data which stock data, sales data from USA auto market since 2000 with wrapper-based crawler. USA and South Korea's economic news data are also collected by wrapper-based crawler. To determining the data update frequency on the site. And periodically updated. We remove duplicate data and build a structured data set for next analysis. Primary to remove the noise data, such as advertising and public relations, etc.

  • The global popularity of K-content(Korean Wave) has led to a continuous increase in copyright infringement cases involving domestic works, not only within the country but also overseas. In response to this trend, there is active research on technologies for detecting illegal distribution sites of domestic copyrighted materials, with recent studies utilizing the characteristics of domestic illegal distribution sites that often include a significant number of advertising banners. However, the application of detection techniques similar to those used domestically is limited for overseas illegal distribution sites. These sites may not include advertising banners or may have significantly fewer ads compared to domestic sites, making the application of detection technologies used domestically challenging. In this study, we propose a detection technique based on the similarity comparison of links and text trees, leveraging the characteristic of including illegal sharing posts and images of copyrighted materials in a similar hierarchical structure. Additionally, to accurately compare the similarity of large-scale trees composed of a massive number of links, we utilize Graph Neural Network (GNN). The experiments conducted in this study demonstrated a high accuracy rate of over 95% in classifying regular sites and sites involved in the illegal distribution of copyrighted materials. Applying this algorithm to automate the detection of illegal distribution sites is expected to enable swift responses to copyright infringements.

  • This study aims to examine the attitudes toward online advertisement targeting YouTube content users and to present implications for the direction and regulation of personal media broadcasting advertisement. The study used the data from 'Awareness of On-line Ads and Blocking Tools' conducted by the Korea Press Foundation in 2020. For the statistical analysis, correspondent analysis was employed. The main results followed as: women tended to perceive more discomfort about the ads before the start of the content compared to men, and women in twenties perceived the highest discomfort with intermediate advertisement. Second, respondents who watch more YouTube contents tended to accept more ads to use contents for free. Third, respondents who are willing to use the advertisement blocking service were most aware of the inconvenience of advertisements before starting of YouTube contents. Although users are aware of the inconvenience, the use of advertisement blocking service has not yet been found to be generalized. However, the use of ad blocking service is expected to increase gradually. It would be expected that efforts to regulate advertisement to reduce discomfort about advertisement among users are also required.

  • Viewers have always switched channels and they have selected by turning away from the TV and returning to the set when the content seemed more amusing. Also, people usually watch television with their family members and thus the experience of viewing is embedded uniquely in ongoing processes of family interaction. In other words, people develop patterns and habits through the act of viewing together. As viewing with family members is the most frequent mode of media exposure, the context of family viewing needs to be thoroughly examined if we are to understand the family's use of television. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the dynamic nature of television viewing behavior. With the people meter's second-by-second viewing information, first we analyze who, when, and why viewers change channels. The ensuing reduction of advertising impact due to zapping will be investigated as well. Then the focus will be shifted to the dynamic interaction of coviewing among family members. In order to further explore the in-depth nature of television viewing, actual viewing information should be cross-analyzed with respect to both demographic and psychographic variables. In this study we surveyed individual characteristics such as television watching patterns, program type preference, attitude toward commercials, channel control intensity, and personalities. We have demonstrated that the results of an meticulus analysis of survey data provide valuable insights into the dynamics of television viewing among family members.

  • Background: The present qualitative study assessed the need, acceptability and appropriateness for implementing effective and culturally appropriate smoking prevention programs for adolescents in schools in Indonesia. Methods: Snowball sampling was used to recruit participants. The study sample comprised a mixture of staff in the education department, junior high school teachers and individuals who had taught junior high school students in Aceh Province, Indonesia. Data were collected through one hour in-depth face to face or telephone interviews and analyzed using a descriptive content analysis procedure. Results: School teachers and policy makers in education firmly supported the implementation of a school-based smoking prevention program in Aceh. An appropriate intervention for smoking prevention program in schools in Aceh should involve both health and Islamic based approaches, and be provided by teachers and external providers. Potential barriers to the program included smoker teachers and parents, time constraints of students and/or teachers, lack of teachers' ability, increase in students' load, the availability of tobacco advertising and sales, and lack of tobacco regulation and support from community and related departments. To increase program effectiveness, involvement of and coordination with other relevant parties are needed. Conclusions: The important stakeholders in Indonesian childhood education agreed that school-based smoking prevention program would be appropriate for junior high school students. An appropriate intervention for smoking prevention program for adolescents in schools in Indonesia should be appropriate to participants' background and involve all relevant parties.

  • Library Week was established in 1964 and has continued without interruption for 56 years. It has grown to become one of the largest and most important activities within the library field today. The Korean Library Association publicly selects slogans to be used for Library Week publicity purposes and their poster advertising campaign. A study and evaluation analyzing slogan contents was performed to determine the overall effects of these slogans on the public and provide suggestions for more effective and focused slogans as part of a branding strategy. To achieve this purpose, the contents of 116 official slogans of the library week were analyzed according to the linguistic techniques and key words suggested by Young-Jun Park (2001). As a result, there were 103 slogans (88.79%) composed of only 'Korean characters'. And the key scoring type with the highest number of hits was the word 'sentences' 46 units (39.66%). Furthermore the word in the slogans resulting in the highest number of hits was 'library' with 111 units (96.52%). Therefore, it can be said that most of the weekly slogans of the library are 'sentence type' consisting of 'Korean characters' containing the word 'library'.

  • The present study extends Alden et al.'s (Alden, Steenkamp, and Batra 1999) study of cultural brand positioning through advertising, in which global cultural positioning is distinguished from foreign cultural positioning and local cultural positioning. The present study explores differences in the brand personality between global cultural positioning ads and local cultural positioning ads and investigates the effect of each type of cultural positioning strategy on the brand attitude. A content analysis was conducted for the Chinese print advertisements of Korean brands in order to examine the brand personalities developed by each type of cultural positioning strategy. Substantial differences in the brand personality were not found between the cultural positioning strategies. An experiment was conducted using Chinese consumers in order to test the effect of the cultural positioning strategy on the brand attitude. The global cultural positioning was found to be more effective than the local cultural positioning in general, and the Korean cultural positioning was found to be more effective than the local cultural positioning only for the younger consumers.
