  • Since the manufacturing machines containing information processing capacity by development of ME technology are developed and distributed from the advanced nations, manufacturing automation with manufacturing method which keeps flexibility and productivity is supplied broadly. An introduction of manufacturing automation technology is necessary to solve difficult domestic industry environment due to international competitiveness weakness of products. The aim of this is to search for the successful factors of the manufacturing business which uses too much technology of manufacturing automation and to observe the difference of the successful factors which influence to introduction performance according to the introduction type of automation technology and the strategic type through the empirical analysis.

  • This paper described the state of art of porous metal materials, the typical manufacturing technologies and performances of sintered metal porous materials, with emphasis on the recent research achievements of CISRI in development of porous metal materials. High performance porous metal materials, such as metallic membrane, sub-micron asymmetric composite porous metal, large dimensional and structure complicated porous metal aeration cones and tube, metallic catalytic filter elements, lotus-type porous materials, etc, have been developed. Their applications in energy industry, petrochemical industry, clean coal process and other industrial fields were introduced and discussed.

  • Recently, reliability engineering is regarded as the major field for aerospace and electronics, semiconductor related industry to improve safety and life cycle.   • It is absolutely that jewelry industry are cut and formed by using Nd-YAG laser for most accuracy shapes. Moreover, Jewelry manufacturing is needed to be more precise working, more saved time and more improved finance. So, This Study will show the ideas which make exactly formed shape and advanced qualities when cutting Ag-alloy. This ideas will give the fact that beginners are able to use easily to change and compound the form of jewelries by using Nd-YAG laser.

OPC UA 기반 스마트팩토리 디지털 트윈 테스트베드 시스템 개발 (Development of OPC UA based Smart Factory Digital Twin Testbed System)

  • The manufacturing industry is continuously pursuing advanced technology and smartization as it converges with innovative technology. Improvement of manufacturing productivity is achieved by monitoring, analyzing, and controlling the facilities and processes of the manufacturing site in real time through a network. In this paper, we proposed a new OPC-UA based digital twin model for smart factory facilities. A testbed system for USB flash drive packaging facility was implemented based on the proposed digital twin model and OPC-UA data communication scheme. Through OPC-UA based digital twin model, equipment and process status information is transmitted and received from PLC to monitoring and control 3D digital models and physical models in real time. The usefulness of the developed digital twin testbed system was evaluated through usability test.

  • 방사선처리기술은 현재 멸균, 폴리머가교, 식품조사, 생고무가황 등 산업적으로 많은 곳에서 이용되고 있다. 현재 감마선과 전자선을 이용한 것은 방사선처리기술의 대표적인 기술이다. 이 논문의 목적은 최근의 방사선 기술을 이해하기 위해 외국의 방사선기술 동향을 살펴보고 산업현장 작업자가 방사선 관련 기술이 친숙해지기를 목적으로 그들에게 유용한 정보를 제공하기 위함이다. 본 조사를 통해 방사선이용기술이 지속적으로 성장함을 알 수 있었고, 또한 이 기술을 이용하면 제품의 다양성을 줄 수 있다는 사실도 알아냈다.

  • Purpose It is a major goal to improve the product yields during production operations in the manufacturing industry. Therefore, factory is trying to keep the good quality materials and proper production resources, also find the proper condition of facilities and manufacturing environment for yields improvement. Design/methodology/approach We propose the hybrid framework to analyze to dataset extracted from MES. Those data is about the alarm information generated from equipment, both measurement and equipment process value from production and cycle/pitch time measured from production data these covered products during production. We adapt a data warehousing techniques for organizing dataset, a logistic regression for finding out the significant factors, and a association analysis for drawing the rules which affect the product yields. And then we validate the framework by applying the real data generated from the discrete process in secondary cell battery manufacturing. Findings This paper deals with challenges to apply the full potential of modeling and simulation within CPPS(Cyber-Physical Production System) and Smart Factory implementation. The framework is being applied in one of the most advanced and complex industrial sectors like semiconductor, display, and automotive industry.

원전 단종 밸브의 DED 방식 금속 3D프린팅 제작 및 성능시험 (Manufacturing and Performance Test of Obsolete Valve in NPP using DED Metal 3D Printing Technology )

  • The 3D printing technology is one of the fourth industrial revolution technology that drives innovation in the manufacturing process, and should be applied to nuclear industry for various purposes according to the manufacturing trend change. In nuclear industry, it can be applied to manufacture obsolete items and new designed parts in advanced reactors or small modular reactors (SMRs), replacing the traditional manufacturing technologies. A gate valve body was manufactured, which was obsolete in nuclear power plant, using DED(Directed Energy Deposition) metal 3D printing technology after restoring design characteristics including 3D design drawing by reverse engineering. The 3D printed valve body was assembled with commercial parts such as seat-ring, disk, stem, and actuator for performance test. For the valve assembly, including 3D printed valve body, several tests were performed, including pressure test, end-loading test, and seismic test according to KEPIC MGG and KEPIC MFC. In the pressure test, hydraulic pressure of 391kgf/cm2 was applied to 3D printed valve body, and no leak was detected. Also the 3D printed valve assembly was performed well in end-loading and seismic tests.

뿌리기업 스마트공장 구축 현황과 영향관계 분석 (Investigation of Factors for Smartization of Ppuri Enterprises Based on the Smart Factory Status)

  • Ppuri or Root technology primarily includes technologies such as casting, mold, plastic working, welding, heat treatment and surface treatment. It is regarded as an essential element for improving the competitiveness of the quality of final products. This study investigates the current status of smart factory implementation for Ppuri companies and analyzes the influencing relationships among various company factors. The factors affecting smart factory implementation for Ppuri companies are sales, exports, number of technical employees, and holding corporate research institutes. In addition, this research shows that even if smart factory implementation is pursued for data collection, data utilization is not implemented properly. Thus, it is suggested that the implementation of smart factories requires not only the availability of facilities and systems but also proper data utilization.

  • This paper analyzes some important achievements in Ergonomics field in CRT industry. After introducing principal regulatory requirements for CRTs, including ISO 9241 and TCO standards, the paper indicates some theoretical research in ergonomics of the display devices, such as new contrast parameter for appraising the display devices and effects of environment on visual performance at the ergonomic. Then, as the pivot of this paper, some practical progress, in the ergonomics field in CRT manufacturing , are described, such as vacuum sputtering process for advanced CRTs, new developed wet process for getting the multi-coating layers on surface of the panel.
